We had a fabulous stay. The place is magnificient. Magnus gave us a lot of information about things to do, where to go etc. Inclusive of where Orca's where spotted, so on our first day we had the opportunity to see a group of Orca's in the bay nearby. What an experience! And If we had any question, he replied very fast. Highly recommended place to stay in Shetland!

Calm, tranquil, spacious haven

This place is a real gem. Many reviews compliment the host, Sean. He was so friendly and was always happy to help make our stay as pleasant as possible, giving us suggestions for local beauty spots and places to eat, even before we arrived. The accommodation was perfect for us and our one year old. The main living/dining/kitchen space was much bigger than we anticipated, with amazing views over Whiteness Voe. We loved the kitchen, it had all the utensils you could ever need to cook homemade meals, which we did every night. The whole place was spotlessly clean, cosy, and had plenty of attention to detail to make it feel like a true home from home. We will be back.

Viewcliff: Modern cottage, idyllic location.

Thank you Mark for providing us with a toasty warm, comfortable haven to return to after a day exploring the island. Mark was super responsive to all messages. Very helpful with check in and check out times and information about possible aurora sightings. We weren't lucky enough to see them on this trip so will just have to come back 😊 Wouldn't hesitate to book to stay at Viewcliff again when we come back. Thank you Mark.

Ulsta Chalet with stunning views

Just arrived home after a lovely week at the chalet, the chalet itself is spotless well planned out, warm and the host has provided pretty much everything you need, lots of books, games, info and maps for the area. We ended up arriving early on the day due to a storm forcing us to catch and earlier ferry which thankfully wasn't an issue at all. I highly recommend booking a stay here it's perfect for seeing the surroundings, which are stunning. We loved it that much we booked to come back in August while we were still there 😊

we had a wonderful stay at Mavine cottage. Lois was a wonderful host and very helpful and just a message away if you need anything. we would recommend this place to stay and so much to do within the area

This place was a dream!! The location is stunning and the house was beautifully decorated with lots of interesting art on the walls. The host was so friendly and responded quickly when we contacted her. This has to be the best Airbnb my sister and myself have stayed in so far and we have stayed in quite a few.

Ingrid's self catering in the heart of Scalloway

Lovely stay at Ingrid's when we visited family in Scalloway. A home from home with great views across the harbour to Burra. Very comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. We appreciated all the extra touches such as Shetland soaps in the bathroom and biscuits, tea, coffee & milk in the kitchen. Ingrid had put the heating on ahead of our arrival too which was very thoughtful as we arrived late on a particularly cold night. Ingrid will go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Your own space in an historic stone built home.

My stay with Dave and Debbie for wool week was absolutely wonderful. They are so welcoming and have a beautiful home. Broonie and Wee Boy were also lovely! The house itself is in such a beautiful location - very peaceful and relaxing. The guest facilities were great with plenty of room to relax in the evenings and cook my dinners. The bedroom is very quiet and has a comfortable warm bed. Debbie’s breakfasts were wonderful and kept me going for several hours. This is by far the best Airbnb I have every stayed at. I had a lovely time and will definitely stay again the the future!

Traditional Croft House with sea views.

Doreen and Trevor's cottage was an ideal base for a business trip - out of town but not too far away, easy to find and plenty of room to spread out, with excellent WiFi. Good off-road parking. The house was fully equipped with everything I needed (including full oven), and Doreen and Trevor were helpful without being intrusive. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a great time, a lovely walk to Hermaness, the weather was dry and bright the whole time we were out there. We enjoyed lovely walks along all of the beaches in Unst. The hut was a joy at the end of the day where we just chilled out with a tin or two of tennants and a couple glasses of wine and talked about what we had done that day, we never missed not having a tv and kept the use of our mobiles to a minimum. A great place to get away to a slower pace of life and peace and quiet. Thank you Melanie you are a super host! We will definitely be back sooner than later x

We had such an amazing stay at Jenny & Pete's! The home was so comfortable, with a really great kitchen set up and a fabulous shower (strong pressure and super hot!) and the most beautiful views over the hill side and cove below. Very convenient to Lerwick, right at a bus stop and less than 10 minutes from town. Jenny was also a really great host, flexible with our check in time and dropping off luggage early, and even helping us sort some car trouble at the end of the trip! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay in Lindsays accommodation during a cycling trip. The accomadation was exactly as described and the hosts were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here and I hope to return again in the future.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Miranda & Callum’s lovely property. It was absolutely perfect: cosy, comfortable, well equipped, well located & beautifully presented. I was so impressed at the design & use of space. Miranda & Callum are amazing hosts: super friendly, responsive & helpful - which I really appreciated. It was a perfect set up for my stay - I really felt at home, relaxed & happy. I will definitely return & can highly recommend!

Beachside house with stunning views

The photos really don't do the house justice, beautiful and cosy. Very spacious and well equipped. Lots of games to keep kids entertained and peaceful spaces for the grown ups. Cooking was delightful in the lovely kitchen, nice hot showers and dreamy beds. Fire place and gorgeous views added to the ambience. Definitely recommended and will revisit ASAP!!!

Shetland farm cottage close to local beauty spots

brilliant from start to finish, absolutely stunning views. cottage was very well equipped, everything you could need. the star of the show is definitely the views, found our eyes drawn to them again and again. never got bored of looking through the windows as the changes in sunlight changed the view every time.
