Hilo : locations d'appartements de vacances

After our original accomodation fell through, we booked Marcos' place for two nights. Marcos and his family are very friendly hosts who shared fruits from their trees with us, as well as kitchen items from their own house for us to use, including fresh jalapenos and hot sauce that we used for our dinner! The place was enough room for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 12) and has a very large TV. The only downside was that the bathroom was located outside in another building but since we were in Hawaii we didn't mind, it would be the same distance as walking down a hallway.

I had a wonderful three-day stay at this Airbnb in Hilo! Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you—it’s an older structure, but the unit itself is spacious, newly remodeled, and very comfortable. The location was super convenient, especially since I borrowed my cousin’s in-laws’ car; being right next to the school where he works made dropping it off a breeze. Plus, it’s close to everything, which made exploring Hilo easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay!

Nancy is very proactive when it comes to this rental and just an overall great host. She had everything put into it so it had a lived in feel even though this was its first rental. I was impressed with the coffee waiting for us, the full assortment of cooking oils and utensils, plates and even a half gallon of milk in the fridge as well as a starter water jug, paper towels etc. I could go on and on with every detail that was right but you get the idea. Also she went out of her way to ask how things were going. I had a couple of gfi circuit blowing issues while I was there but she arranged to have those fixed as soon as possible with an electrician who upgraded the circuit and that seemed to solve the problem for good. The bed was really good and I have a really bad back. I was surprised since it was an airbed but I had zero problems with sleeping on it. There is a brand new futon and fold out bed/couch in the living room but I never used it. It was good for sitting on to watch tv. The directv was a really nice touch. I thought the apt was much bigger and nicer than the photos showed. The shower in particular was much bigger than I was expecting. Kudos too on the really hot water! I like it hot and it was perfect with a giant hot water heater for the whole place. Most places always seem to keep the water to cool for me but yours was ideal. The laundry was a big added bonus too and saves a lot of time, money and hassle. The dual window ACs is a rare feature of this apt too. It made sleeping really nice and could cool the place down in minutes. Even in the winter there I liked having the option to cool off quickly on a warm day. No other place has that in this price range and I would gladly go back and stay again.

A new place to Air BNB in a great location downtown, run by some of the kindest people we've met - and thoughtful, not only in welcoming us, but in attention to every detail in the place. Provided a perfect spot for us to walk next door to the farmers market, to dinner at Pineapple's or the waterfront park - with free parking behind the building, too. Above a great little coffee shop, it felt secluded in a way, yet close to everything. Clean and inviting, a great mix of modern decor meeting old world charm and perfect for our travels. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend time in Hilo or simply for an overnight during island travels. We loved everything about it!

Mo’s place was everything I look for in an Airbnb. Quiet, private, easy to find. A five minute walk away from the nearest beach! Other beaches are only a little bit farther away. I didn’t have a rental car for most of my trip but the Bus stop is also five minute walk away. I felt like I was in the jungle, there was so much tropical greenery around! It is near an airport so there was airplane noises overhead but you only hear it once or twice a night and it comes and goes quickly. I had a great stay and would stay here again!

Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

Such a nice little place! Excellent view of the ocean and the lanai was a fantastic place to sit and enjoy the morning. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook too! The place is full of thoughtful touches and we wanted for nothing-Robynne had thoughtfully provided everything we might need during our stay and she was so approachable and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re planning to spend a few days in the area. It is a bit of a trek into Hilo, but a lovely spot regardless!

We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Christopher’s place was very clean, with a very comfortable bed, peaceful and quiet surroundings, nice location. Hosts were always helpful and responded very quickly in all correspondence.

Great stay! Perfect for 2 couples, although one of the bedrooms doesn't have a window unit which makes it a bit warmer for sleeping. Our friends complained of noise coming from the roadway because they kept the window open to keep the room cool. My husband and I slept in the a/c bedroom and slept well. The bathtub/shower could use updating, but is still functional (hot water takes a bit to warm up, but does get nice and hot). The space was great and had it not been raining in Hilo, we would've walked into town rather than drive. The price point was perfect, and we'd definitely stay again when revisiting Hilo.

Nice place to stay over night after watching the volcano.

Beautiful area, so close to Volcanoes NP, cooler temps very welcome compared to lower elevations. Lots of birdsong (including some roosters) and frogs. Far enough from the highway that noise was not at all intrusive, but super easy to get to the highway. Close enough to Volcano Village for gas/shop/food, and close enough to the park for quick trips (early morning, or night trip to watch the lava glow - or, if you are very lucky, an eruption). Owners very nice and made great neighbors. Do be sure to bring your own drinking water - most places in the area catch rainwater for non-drinking use.

Absolutely fabulous Airbnb so close to the park. We live on island and this was an awesome getaway to explore with visiting family. So clean! And so well put together. Had everything we needed for an awesome stay.

i will remember my Hilo experience forever because of your house! It’s like living in heaven! Love the birds singing! (I never heard bird sounds like this, it has echoes! Want to know the name of the bird;). The modeling of the living area is impressive! Finally want to give extra star to the hot tub! It’s amazing to enjoy it especially when it’s raining! I’ll def come back!!

I stayed at their Pua Suite, which is located on the 2nd level, and the views looking out on their gorgeous landscape was amazing. On a clear day you can see Mauna Kea and every morning I was greeted by a beautiful rainbow outside the living room window. The unit was peaceful, relaxing and again, the views were stunning. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and had very clear instructions on how to get to their place. An added bonus: their front gate makes you feel like your entering your own estate.

Great old Hawaiian B&B. We had a fairly plain room, which we expected for the price, but it was clean, and the main rooms with the delicious breakfast and the beautiful surrounding garden made up for it. Perfect location minutes from Volcano National Park.
