great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

We cannot say enough positive about Koji, Eri hospitality and their home’s location Koji and Eri were proactive in offering things to do and places to eat in and around Kyoto. Their home’s location was central and within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Thank you Koji and Eri for offering your home and making us feel welcome. Five stars all the way!

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

This is an incredible home. Walkable to the station and just 1 stop to get to Kyoto. There is a Laundromat nearby as well. Akiko-san provides a great set of recommendation on things to do in Kyoto and the best way to explore the city. We had a great time.

It was really close to a train station, about five mins away or less, and multiple convenience stores which helped with snacks after long days. Only thing to note is all three rooms are attached, so to get to the third room you must go through the first and second room. It wasn’t an issue for us but might be for those who want privacy. There was a bright exit sign in the first room which was bothersome the first night but we just covered it with a black shirt the next nights and it was fine. Overall would stay again.

Akane's place was perfect for our group of 6. The apartment is flexible for different combinations of people in the 3 bedrooms. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Akane always responded right away whenever we needed instructions on anything in the apartment. Her English is very good and she is very friendly. We had a great time!

Mio was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. Her communication was perfect from pre check-in to checkout. Mio came to meet us at the train station and helped us to her beautiful house. We had just got engaged and she had lovely flowers for my fiancée. The house had everything we could need - we felt right at home here. It's a 30 second walk to a well connected subway (less than 5 minutes to Sanjo bridge) and just next to the beautifull Kamagowa River which is great to cycle with the provided bikes. Mio also drove us to the station at checkout which saved us so much time. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Kyoto. This is a must book house for anyone coming to Kyoto.

Yamano-san is one of the most helpful hosts I've ever had the pleasure of having. He sent us a complete house guide with directions to get to his place (with photos of every turn), how to use the appliances, and how to dispose of garbage. Japan has strict rules on garbage disposal, so that was essential information. He alsobmet us at check-in to show us everything. He responds to messages immediately and came when we needed help with the water system. We came during cherry blossoms season so everything was just wow! Crowded but beautiful. Good thing Yamano-san's house is in a quiet area even if it is less than 200m from a train and bus station, and from a convenience store. We were even able to walk to the iconic Togetsu-kyo Bridge. Bonus: He is a setai (body adjustment) doctor. He treated two of our group and they loved it! We definitely recommend staying there!

一戶建的旅居空間很大而且温馨舒適。入住當天我們很晚才到達（晚上10時多才到）但沒想到旅居主人還在等待我們，而且為我們搬行李及打傘，介紹屋內設施。旅居內一應俱全，還有小孩玩具及圖書，還提供很多旅居附近的購物及飲食資訊，寢室很舒適並備有充電插頭，樓梯還裝有小夜燈方便夜間下樓，而且有防滑地毯，洗手間內有毛巾抹手。亦有車位方便自駕人士。意想不到的是竟然有歡迎入住的信，真的非常貼心。性價比非常高，非常適合一家大小，有機會會再次入住，亦會給推介打算造訪大阪的親友。離開時旅居主人夫婦還親自相送！

Jinn’s home was picture perfect - As you’d expect from someone with his artistic prowess - Every detail was well curated, from the tub, to tatami mats and the slippers provided. The cypress tub overlooking a private garden was breathtaking! It felt as though we stayed in a museum/art gallery; Wood carvings, and gorgeous artworks were displayed. Beds were extra comfy and every room could be closed off giving ultimate privacy no matter whether it’s one family, a couple, or friends staying together in the space. I’d book again in a heartbeat. My only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer!!!! Gosh, I love that house, I wish I could be the owner, kick out the guests and live there full time. It doesn’t get better than this! If you have the chance and it’s not already reserved, BOOK THIS ARTISTS RETREAT AND DON’T LOOK BACK.

This is a special and very nice place. Harufumi and Yumie are very kind and welcoming, and genuinely interested in their guests.

This place was perfect for our group of 5. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and 1 with room for several mattresses. It also had tatami rooms up front so plenty of space. It has a kitchen and dining area in back which was comfortable for sitting, and also has a living room up front. The bathroom and shower and tub were very convenient, as well as the two separate toilets. We also used the laundry. The place is covert accessible to the bus lines. It was perfect.

Rien à redire sur le logement de Keiji-san, très propre et bien placé par rapport aux transports en commun. L'hôte nous a accueilli sur place pour nous donner les instructions, très claires, et nous lui avons également rendu les clés en mains propres au départ. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit de transit mais nous aurions pu y passer plus de temps sans soucis.

My family really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Sakura House. It offered everything we needed for a comfortable experience. Clear instructions are posted for appliances. The stairs are certainly memorable, but we managed fine. At one point we had a bit of an issue unlocking the front door. We were able to figure it out on our own, though. Just be sure to push the panels in as you turn the key. The area is convenient for dining, shopping, and various entertainment. It was quiet enough for us to sleep comfortably at night. Megumi was promptly responsive to any inquiries I had. Always helpful and friendly. It is clear she is an experienced host. I highly recommend her place.

Can't beat the location if you want to visit Mt. Inari before or after the crowds. Since the grounds are open 24 hours, you can walk over anytime, day or night. And although the shops and shrine facilities are only staffed from about 9am to 6pm, you are free to walk the torii gates anytime, and it's absolutely surreal after dark. Also right next to a nice bridge over a picturesque river, and very close to a 7-11. Inside, the place is very nice, and certainly would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Chad’s 3-story home in Higashiosaka with our family of four (kids aged 10 and 7). Location was perfect—safe, quiet, and super convenient, just a 3-minute walk to the train station, which made exploring Osaka easy. House was spotless and cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen (though we picked up a few extra ingredients). The air conditioners around the house kept the bedrooms nice and warm during our March stay (though FYI the common areas can be a tad chilly. The kids were thrilled with the dedicated playroom on its own floor—it kept them entertained for hours. The garage was a big bonus for our rental car. Chad was an amazing host, always quick to reply and super accommodating, even helping us with an Amazon delivery. Tip: We brought our own HDMI cable to connect our laptop to TV. Overall, it was a fantastic, family-friendly spot that made our Osaka trip extra special. Highly recommend it! Thanks, Chad!
