Himeshima, Higashikunisaki District : locations de vacances

We were pleasantly surprised with what was inside the apartment. Very clean and neat, lots of space and room to house more than 7 adults. Host had prepared some snacks, toothbrushes, etc. The only drawback is only 1 toilet and 1 separate bath area. The in-house onsen-bath was a great treat, plus threre's a public bath facility near by. Do not miss the unagi restaurant just 30meters away, highly recommended. Also nearby is a nice mall with lots to explore.

Auch diesmal hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir fühlen uns wohl. Die Kommunikation klappt bestens, bei Anliegen wird rasch und freundlich geantwortet. Das schätzen wir sehr. Einzig, dass wir jeden Morgen immer sehr früh durch einen krähenden Hahn geweckt wurden, war nicht optimal. Und in der oberen Wohnung gibt es offenbar Kinder, die sehr lange wach sind und bis spätabends laut rumrennen. Das kann je nachdem stören. Insgesamt war es erneut ein schöner Aufenthalt. Arigatou gozaimasou!

We stayed with Junko at the tail end of our visit to Japan and it was the perfect place for us to come and wind down, enjoy some beautiful scenery, and connect with some beautiful places in Kyushu. The accommodation was incredible, very beautiful and warm, one of the nicest places we visited in Japan. The cafe downstairs also serves some delicious food, coffee and tea. We stayed with Junko with our 1 year old and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves a lot. Junko was an amazing host who helped us with a few challenging issues and connected us with healthcare and other kinds of support during our stay. We couldn’t be more grateful for her and we highly recommend staying with her!
