Centrally located to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops(which is important to me). The pool is a cool refreshing spot to spend time to get out of the mid day heat. Breakfast is made to order with fresh eggs and baguettes...delicious. our host Ann has been extremely helpful with transportation and recommendations for restaurants. Can be a bit lively at night from nearby bars. Overall a good choice for a basic place to stay.

Nouth was an excellent host, helped us with everything: from picking us up to brining to the train station. She is very kind, quick and helpful. Thank you for hosting us! . Highly recommend!

Paul and Mai have created a unique and heavenly oasis in a stunning location by a river, surrounded by mountains that you approach by boat. The treehouse is perfect in every way and you feel part of nature here. Down below, in the kitchen area, they happily cook healthy and delicious food for their guests using local and organic ingredients where they can. They make sure you have all luxuries including a mean cappuccino! They catered for my gluten intolerance with grace and creativity. They are great fun to be around and eating with them and other guests was a highlight. You can walk or swim from the property and they have a kayak you can use. Paul and Mai truly care about the local community and the environment around them and do their best to support both. We fell in love with their property and with them and would love to return one day. Thank you for the transport from Vientiane and for your kindness.

Staff are very helpful and the hostel has a great vibe

Our trip to Vang Vieng was made much more enjoyable by staying at Nouths property. She gave us a ride to and from the railway station then set us up with a scooter for our trip and made sure to answer any questions/offer suggestions for things to do in Vang Vieng. The bungalow was as listed and we enjoyed the space, hindsight we wish we could have stayed longer but had a plane to catch. Thank you!

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed every moment:) the lake view is so beautiful and we felt really at home. There were no neighbours, so we were pretty private. We took three trips with the kayak. Lovely! Jun was always friendly and ready to help. We only had a hard time finding the exact place. If you struggle as well just search for Sunset Nam Ngum Resort in Google Maps.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach, zweckmässig und hat ein gutes Preisleistungsverältnis. Nouth ist extrem hilfsbereit, ist freundlich und hat ein ansteckendes Lachen. Sie hat uns am Bahnhof abgeholt, immer wieder gefragt wie es uns geht oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Sie gab uns Tipps für Ausflüge, Rollervermietung etc. Für die Abreise hat sie uns sogar die Tickets für den Bus besorgt und uns zur Station gefahren. Besser kann man nicht umsorgt werden. Danke Nouth
