Tina’s home was the idyllic place we were looking for to get away from the world for a minute. The house is gorgeous and the lake was perfect. We were able to walk from the house to the lake for a swim or a paddle. I would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We had a beautiful view of the mountains to wake up to each morning that set our moods for the day. The place was exactly as advertised and perfect for our trip of 4 adults with plenty of room for additional adults/kids. We brought a few cooking supplies with us but ended up leaving everything packed in the truck since the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Our main purpose for the trip was to ride the Alpine Loop on the Polaris Ranger and there was just enough to park the trailer and the truck in the designated parking area. Awesome communications prior to check-in as well as mid-visit check-in just to make sure everything was going smoothly which we greatly appreciated and no issues with the check-out either. Julie was great to work with and will definitely save this as a favorite!

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this cabin in Vallecito. It was perfect for exploring the lake area and nearby trails. Sarah and Mat were very helpful, and so kind!

Absolutely stunning! I stayed here to introduce my fiancé to my grandparents- I’ve been coming to this area for over a decade and I HIGHLY recommend! Very roomy and clean, the kitchen was the group favorite, natural light, and an awesome backyard to hang out in! The hosts were so kind and generous- they even made us a hand made loaf of bread that was delicious 😭 I recommended it to family friends already!

The house was really great for the three familys that went with us. We cooked on the grill that was really great. Great kitchen appliances. Plenty of room for kids to play and hang out. Got to enjoy the snow with the big windows to look out at.

Don is friendly, responsive, and accommodating. He worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay and helped out when there were any questions or concerns.

Fran’s place was perfect for us 5 men on a fishing & OHV excursion into the Alpine passes between Lake City and Silverton, Colorado. It was Super comfortable & we all had private sleeping quarters. We had a fish fry & the kitchen had all the utensils needed & the outdoor grill had a side burner for cooking our fish. We had a Fabulous week!

Absolutely gorgeous place to land after our long days of adventuring in the area! The house was very well stocked with all the basic amenities you would need. The host was extremely communicative and helpful! And bonus points for having so many extra bath towels! We loved the place! Thank you!

A perfectly peaceful, spacious, and homey place with a great location. The kitchen is one of the best I've experienced in countless Airbnbs, and even the foldout couch sleeper was super comfy. I'd happily recommend it and will stay there again if I'm so lucky.

Amazing location on the edge of Lake City town center. Easy parking, easy entry, fun & interesting decor and SUPER easy 5-min drive to the Ice Park. Stay at one of Ben's Basecamp locations and you won't be disappointed. He's excellent with communication, and a heck of a nice guy. He ALSO happens to spend his time maintaining the Ice Park, so support this guy and his operation.

Great place! Jim was helpful and flexible with the checkin time and the apartment was lovely with plenty of space. The heated steps were a nice touch and nice on bare feet after getting out of the hot tub! I would highly recommend staying here.

This is our second time staying at this adorable little place and we stayed twice as long. Jim and Dana are so welcoming and even accommodated an early check-in in order for us to get out to the ice park as soon as we arrived! This place has a comfy bed, everything that you need for a mountain getaway and is minutes away from the ice park. Additionally, it’s dog friendly, which means our pup could come join in on the fun. Thanks for having us again and I am sure we will be back!

The place was cute and comfortable. Lively decorations made the palce feel like home and having a washer and dryer was an extra bonus. The spot was a perfect size for two people and had everything we needed.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the cabin near the lake. Very peaceful and set up well for those with small children. Great deck with nice chairs. Will definitely return in the future!

The Pine Needles cabin is an ideal spot near Vallecito Lake. There was easy access to a paddle board put in, great hiking in the area, and some excellent fly fishing. The cabin has lots of great space, amenities, and the views are phenomenal.

i want to start off by saying i absolutely loved the cabin. it is so cute and very clean. it is in a beautiful place with a huge lake in the backyard. barney was very polite and responded to us in a timely manner. we felt very comfortable with our stay. i have nothing but good words and feelings about this stay. thank you!!

Teresa went above and beyond for our stay. The cabin was clean and well laid out. It was perfect during our stay. Teresa even let us know we could check in early if we were ready. The forget- me -not cabin was quiet and just what we needed after a long day on the trails. Nice place to sit out front of the cabin and enjoy the mountain air.

This space was everything posted about and SO much more! This home was the perfect sanctuary for our family. The host was always so helpful, responsive, wonderful to work with from start to finish. The listing totally undersells the amazingness of this property. The home was spotless. The house was minimalistic in all the best ways as an AirBnb. We felt right at home! The kitchens was perfectly stocked with all the pans, dishes, etc that was needed. Get ready to see some amazing wildlife while enjoying morning coffee on the beautiful wrap around deck. We were left with plenty of firewood to make nights as a family in the living room amazing! Fishing with the kiddos was core memory making! The water is clear enough that when the sun hits just right you can see all the HUGE rainbow trout! Thank you to the host for letting us catch them and make an amazing fish meal! This was the absolute perfect fall trip for our family! Thank you!
