This place was totally amazing!! Best vacation and stay ever!! We were two friends traveling together, one kiter and the other did not kite, and we both loved this place. We both had one of our best traveling experiences ever at this place! All the people and dogs working at this place are so lovely and welcoming - they will help you plan activities and everything to make your stay the best one ever. Buen Hombre is super nice for kiting, for both experienced kiters, and beginners. If you are an experienced kiters I will totally recommend you to ask Riin if they can arrange any downwinders or the 7 island kite trip. If you are a kiter, book the whole trip through Riin, that's at least what I will do the next time I go to Domanican Republic. They have a place both in Cabarete and Buen Hombre, and can help you flex between the two places! They also arrange a lot of really fun trips and activities you can join! Both of us will definitely come back to this place!

The view of Los Haitises Park from our balcony was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked our tours at the hotel and enjoyed ourselves greatly. The food is very good and the pools are very relaxing. Given its location, a little harder to get to but worth it.

Traumhaft gelegene Anlage, die die 30min Anfahrt über unbefestigte Straßen ab Sabana de la Mar mehr als entschädigt! :-) super nettes Personal, das wenig englisch spricht aber sehr bemüht ist und alles möglich macht. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön mit tollem Ausblick auf die Bucht von Samana & San Lorenzo und man kann super schöne Ausflüge in die Mangroven, den Dschungel und Bootstouren machen. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker! Wunderschön ist auch die ganze Anlage mit den Naturpools und alle Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit!

Beautiful place to stay in, you're surrounded by nature and everything looked clean and organized, Luis miguel who received us was very welcoming and friendly, the speaker they have is pretty loud, we had a great time.

I can't say enough good things about Villa Cruz. The location, atmosphere, culture, and staff are all phenomenal. Our room was clean and everything worked well, and the hotel has Starlink Wi-Fi and great food (optional) if you want it. The true differentiator, however, is the people. Judy and her staff are incredible -- friendly, helpful, attentive and always happy to provide whatever you need. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was very clean! Good A/C and water heater. Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Felt secure with the gate at the front. It was a very nice environment and felt like I was staying at a relative's house. They have a large variety at breakfast. Most of the rooms are spaced out. Unfortunately I got the one all the way at the back but at least it was very quiet and private. Will definitely book here again.

Era todo lo que buscaba, un lugar para desconectarme de todo y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, sin dejar lejos las comodidades de la ciudad. Ezequiel el encargado es de excelente apoyo y ayuda para hacer mejor tu estadía

Angostura cumplió con lo que esperaba, un lugar tranquilo donde pudiera disfrutar la paz de la montaña, con el sonido del río y las aves. La temperatura inigualable, como es de esperarse en Manabao a inicios de año. Las atenciones de Teresa fueron exquisitas, lo que nos permitió tener una estadía por el libro. Desde las comidas en su punto, hasta el agua caliente en el baño, todo quedó como lo esperado. Importante: Verificar la ubicación en el mapa a la hora de ir, deben colocar en Waze o Maps: "Complejo Ecoturístico Angostura Ecoledge", para que no se pierdan NOTA: Si usted busca lujos, no es su lugar; si busca tranquilidad y ambiente de montaña, sí lo es.
