Historic District, Wilmington : locations de vacances adaptées aux animaux

Stayed at Marshall’s place for a couple of days to visit our daughter at UNCW and stay somewhere that had a kitchen, enough room for us all, as well as a nice big yard for our dog to run around in. The house did not disappoint!! Each morning, the wife and I walked down to the riverfront for coffees as well as a little site seeing along the way. We went to the beach one day, which was a short drive away. We were also able to cook for our small family in the well stocked kitchen. An all-around great experience!! Will definitely stay again!

Cozy, cute house in a scenic neighborhood

It was a very beautiful, dog friendly and quiet place. Neighbors were friendly and we were able to walk our dogs even though they had a big beautiful fenced in back yard. The house was clean and stocked very well.

We had a lovely weekend at Su’s place. The location was convenient to the downtown Wilmington area. The house was decorated as described in the listing- beautiful and ornate. The place was very clean and the back courtyard provided a nice private space to gather. Highly recommend.

We lived our stay in Carolina Beach @ Kevin & Katie’s place! We had plenty of room for our growing family. Enjoyed the grill and fire pit behind the house. Found fun things to do locally - beach, park, & aquarium. We would definitely recommend to others and will come back ourselves!

Yolanda was very accommodating. Place was as described and seemed newly renovated. The price was a bit much for one night, but I'm assuming it goes down some if you get it for longer.

We loved staying here! It was the perfect quick getaway. Cozy inside and you really can’t beat the location. Will be rebooking for sure!!

Andrew's beach-side getaway was perfect for a mostly impromptu trip away from home. He was super responsive and took great care of us. Awesome view from the balcony and access to a beach that was perfect for the dog.

We have already recommended MK's place to some others - however, we did warn them that the unit was up 34 stairs! There was nothing in the property description to indicate that and for a couple of 73 year olds the climb with all our stuff was too much. Thankfully we had our young strong kids along! We always appreciate being able to bring our dog along, and he, along with the rest of us, totally enjoyed the 2 private balconies. The ac was plenty cold, the dryer not so hot. Beds comfortable, covered parking a plus, and we all enjoyed the pool. Location was the best, able to walk to every place, and that made it worth the 34 stair climb. Highly recommend Hang Ten Grill for huge salads and best wings ever, Salt Fish for yummy cocktails and deliciously unique entrees ( make a reservation), the Fat Pelican for a fun experience. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

Found this gem last minute for a getaway with my wife . Great price, amazing place, convenient location. Plenty of shops and restaurants near the board walk. Quick access to the boardwalk and beach. We walked everywhere. Place was clean, had everything we needed. Felt like home away from home. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved this place! Very cute and perfect for a weekend getaway. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful! The bed was also extremely comfortable!

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a large group of 12 people and everyone had plenty of room and there were many things in the house to keep the group entertained (many TV’s, pool table, swimming pool, and the awesome fire pit with swing chairs around it). Alex was an awesome host and responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. We all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

This was a clean, comfy stay for two people. The location was good for us; near the Wrightsville Beach bridge, and close to one of our favorite places to eat, the Bluewater Waterfront Grill. This is a converted hotel-type room, but it had all the necessary amenities for coffee-making and light cooking. The bed was comfortable for a great night's sleep!

The hosts communicated very well and responded quickly. The condo had everything anyone would need . It was very clean and comfortable. The closest beach access was closed as stated but it was only a very short walk to the next one that had plenty of beach to enjoy. I enjoyed how quiet it was. The private balcony was great also to sit and enjoy the calming sounds of the ocean . I would absolutely stay again and again . It was perfect for what I needed .

The house exceeded expectations, was spotless when we came in and a 30 second walk from the closest beach access. We will definitely be booking again

Really nice stay. Single room and bathroom in historic house. Short walk to Castle Street with great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Also walkable to downtown and waterfront. Katherine a very responsive host, thought of everything. Communucated frequently and left a list of restaurant recommendations. Complimentary bottle of wine and a corkscrew. Clean, well-appointed room. Snacks. A fridge and microwave. On a main street but set back, some noise but mostly very quiet and private. Charming. Just very nice and near perfect for one person or a couple.

This home was perfect for our special weekend. It was very close to public beach access (3 min walk) yet felt very private and cozy. The wraparound porch was one of our favorite spots to sit with the dogs. Inside everything was comfortable and clean!! The home is right off a one way street so there is not tons of traffic. The restaurant off the nearby pier was great! All of our guests said they slept comfortably. We all fit in the house very well and had several spots to get some alone time as well. We were able to find everything we needed to properly cook in the kitchen. There were plenty of utensils and plates for everyone. The beach towels by the door came in handy to help get sand off the dogs before they came inside. There were doors everywhere to keep children or dogs contained to one area if needed. I highly recommend this home for all the reasons listed above along with the fact that the host was very responsive and gave us everything we needed to accommodate our stay. 5 stars

This is my third time staying here and it was amazing as always! I love being able to rent a golf cart and it being a short walk and drive from the boardwalk!

We had a wonderful stay!! Everything was very very clean and comfortable. All of the amenities were appreciated especially the beach umbrella because we forgot ours. It is a beautiful place to take walks with our dog. Nikki was quick to respond when I had a question and always helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!

This place was 100% our home away from home for the week! My partner and I had a great trip with our beloved pup! It was walkable to closeby stores and restaurants as well as a short walk to the beach!

Highly recommended! As experienced guests (300+ nights in dozens of Airbnbs), this home checks all the boxes that matter. LOCATION: Perfect. A 5 minute walk to dozens of shops and restaurants, and an 8 minute walk to the beach. Plus, quiet neighbors. PROPERTY: Charming beach vibe with an enclosed sun room, fully fenced yard, fire pit, beach bikes and a golf cart! Also a private driveway so you don’t have to fight for parking. Hard to ask for any more in a beach property. COMFORT: The Tuft & Needle king bed was top notch – among the best we’ve ever encountered in an Airbnb. The living and dining furniture was clean and comfortable as well. HOSTS: Helpful, friendly and responsive – the best kind. If you’re coming to Carolina Beach, put Sweet Caroline at the top of your list.

I enjoyed staying at Shelly’s place, it was in a great location and was squeaky clean. I highly recommend this listing and would love to stay here again!
