Location is perfect. Not far at all from restaurants, local Walmart and all the hiking caves. Petting zoo and ice cream shop is nearby as well. Great location! The cabin was very nice. Stocked with everything you’d need! The views from the hot tub and fire pit were beautiful. The cabin was clean and exactly as described. Very pleased with the stay. We would definitely book again!

When I searched for a place close to Hocking Hills State Park, this was right in the middle of it all! It was a beautiful place and super clean. The hot tub was a nice addition after the days of hiking! I would 100% stay here again!

This was our second stay at Verde Grove Cabins (we stayed in Sycamore around Thanksgiving). We enjoyed the view out the kitchen windows of Oink (dense forest). Loved the hot tub and was able to cook all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Old Man’s Cave wasn’t too far away for a nice family outing. Planning to visit again in the fall!

The Nature Oasis was a beautiful cabin on a hill, surrounded by pine trees. It was a lot more secluded than I realized but was a welcome surprise!! The hit tub was an amazing way to repax after long days exploring Hocking Hills and its many nature preserves. Husband said he slept better here than any other rental we've had in the past and that's saying a lot! so comfortable and yruly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend for couples wanting that little extra privacy when traveling.

Lori is a wonderful host, very friendly and quick to respond. The cabin was spotless, well appointed and very peaceful. We enjoyed the privacy and listening to the birds singing as we enjoyed the lovely deck. The hot tub was a great way to unwind and relaxing the evening after a day of hiking. We hope to stay again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—just a short drive to some of the best hiking spots like Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. One of the biggest highlights was the winery next door. They actually opened on their day off just for us, and we got to enjoy a private tasting! The wine was fantastic, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. After a day of hiking, the fire pit was the perfect place to unwind. Plenty of seating, lots of wood provided, and a peaceful setting made it the ultimate spot to relax. If you’re traveling with kids, this place is a great choice. There was lots of space to run around, and our little ones loved making s’mores by the fire. Overall, this cabin had everything—great location, awesome hospitality, and a super chill vibe. Whether you’re here for the hiking, the wine, or just a peaceful getaway, this spot is a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at Mara‘s cabin was wonderful! The cabin is extremely dog friendly. She has so many nice touches, including dog bowls, dog beds, dog treats, and so many toys. Our dogs were so happy. She had lots of great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and watching the beautiful stars. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch swing . It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend!

Stayed for a spring break trip with our kids and dog. Hocking Hills trails are easy to get too, cabin is clean and as described. Hosts were very receptive and communicative around an issue with the hot tub on our first night which got resolved quickly. Pup loved exploring the woods around cabin. Dogs must stay on first floor (bedrooms are on the second), which was no issue for us since we crate our dog anyways, but heads up if your dog sleeps with you. As other reviews state, the hill leading up to the cabin is steep and bumpy, but was totally doable in our SUV. Would highly recommend!!! Thank you for lending your beautiful home!

We have 3 kids - ages 9, 7 and 5, they LOVED staying here and did not want to leave. We loved the surroundings, did puzzles they had available as a family! The morning farm chores and tour was a highlight of the trip. We are made delicious eggs right from the farm for breakfast! The hosts were so friendly, down to earth and fun to talk with. I will be recommending this to friends!

Very charming cabin in a great location! The kitchen layout was so nice for cooking. Seating was comfortable and the beds were nice. If we had more time I would have liked to use the jacuzzi! We didn’t feel crowded with 3 adults and a dog. The location is central to a lot of trails. Would happily stay there again!

The Farmhouse was perfect for our short getaway to Hocking Hills State Park. The house was in great condition and very clean. Our family enjoyed the hot tub each night after our long hikes. The location made it easy to come back for lunch each day. Definitely recommend staying at this location if visiting the park!

What a place! So hard to find something that adults, kids, and dogs are happy at. They've added so much personal touch, it's impossible not to feel relaxed and comfortable here. Two extremely minor things- write down or screen shot the code for the door before you exit the highway as there is no service! Once inside, there is wifi but it's not good for streaming or anything similar. And two, pack your own tumblers, everything here is glass (for the hot tub of course!)

We'd definitely recommend this cabin to families looking to stay in Hocking Hills! This was a great space for 2 families including a dog :) Pam was very thoughtful to include gift cards for a local coffee shop, some treats and even dog bowls for our dog. The location was very peaceful, clean and quiet. Pam responded to any questions we had and was a great host.

Lovely little private cabin with access to a small trail right on the property. The location is amazing and there’s lots to do in the hocking hills area. Julie and Klaus were wonderful hosts and Julie was on top of it with the information and clear instructions. Which is always appreciated!

We have stayed at this location the past three or four years to celebrate New Year’s, and it is the perfect spot for our group. The kids love exploring in the woods and playing in the hot tub. Very secluded and peaceful. Beth is an excellent host and so easy to work with. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and experience!

We loved our stay at Brent's place. We wanted to get away from the city during our time off and enjoy the outside. The location wasn't too far away from Hocking Hills to get some hiking done and the trails at Brent's were perfect for when we didn't want to travel. I would gladly stay at Brent's place again!

Great stay! Close to all Public land hunting.. only downfall no WiFi but was nice to sit in the hot tub and relax. East check in and out.

This was a wonderful home away from home on our girls trip to hocking hills! The cabin was stunning and looked just like the photos. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at this cabin over the weekend and we had a great time. It allowed us to disconnect and enjoy quality time together. We loved the movie selections, hot tub, the rustic decor and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cabin for any family looking to reconnect and get back to the basics. I can't say enough wonderful things about The Roosevelt! My friends and I have stayed a few places in Hocking Hills, and we all agree Katie's place is our favorite! The house was beautiful, everything was absolutely pristine, it smelled so good when we walked in (some kind of candle or air freshener??), there were plenty of towels in both the bathrooms and for the hot tub, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and we were such a short drive from all the fun things/hikes in Hocking Hills. We made use of both the hot tub and the fire pit, and we appreciated the firewood that was left for us there. We came here for my friend's bachelorette party and we has such a blast, and all said we would love to stay here again in the future.
