ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I surprised my wife for her birthday with a little getaway and her family joined as well. Jackie had gotten her flowers and balloons for her birthday after I let her know what I was planning on doing! The place is located perfectly and really gave us an amazing weekend away! I hiked the trails every morning and also our dogs loved being able to get away as well and explore. If I could give a sixth star I would!

We had a great weekend at Lolo’s Place celebrating my birthday! The cabin is very private, but also still super close to all of the main hiking trails! The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking! Not too far from Logan either in case you need to go to the grocery store or want to go to Hocking Hills Winery (highly recommend). Minimal/no pantry items so if you want to cook in the cabin be sure to bring cooking oil and spices, as well as kcups and sugar. Overall it was a great stay!

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

What a great place the house was awesome. Great location around all the hiking trails and perfect for our daughter’s wedding weekend in Hocking Hills definitely will come back.!!!

We had a great time and it was relaxing. We were able to use our ATVs and spend time outside. We took out two dogs. The place was clean and had a lot of household items. It was great to play the board games bc we forgot our games at home.

Loved staying here. Home was clean and peaceful. Loved exploring the yard and area. We will for sure be back!!!!

We booked this cabin for my 47th birthday. The pictures don't do this house any justice. There was plenty of space and things to do. The house was completely stocked with anything u can think you would need... every one complimented this house and we will definitely book this again.

Great place especially for the price!!! Elizabeth was quick to respond when asked questions. First thing I noticed was how updated, clean and neat the whole place is!! The bathroom is beautiful! The hot tub smelled fresh! The water was hot, clean & relaxing!! We enjoyed every minute we could and will be back again!

Country Cabins was very nice. The description and pictures matched what we experienced. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The host was good with communication. The area was so peaceful and quiet, just the way we like it. We will definitely be back during summer time to enjoy the pool.

This place was absolutely amazing, as advertised and great for our group gathering. Catherine was a very responsive host!

It was bigger than the pictures looked. There was also a bedroom and full bathroom in the pool area which was nice. I would recommend they move the refrigerator in the basement to the pool area. Sort of a pain going in the house to get drinks. Also no hooks or towels racks in pool area to hang wet towels. We are already planning our next trip, well worth it! Highly recommended.

This was a great little vacation for us and our sons before everyone leaves for college this week! So much to do right on the property. We especially enjoyed the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and the pool table in the basement. Also the kitchen was so well appointed! This is a great place for families and I would definitely come back either with family or for a ladies weekend!

My girlfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend here where we also got engaged! By far the most relaxing and peaceful weekend we’ve ever spent together. Thank you Amanda & family for hosting such a nice stay.

Fantastic getaway tucked away atop a countryside hill. Surrounded by trees and excellent parks nearby. Pool is excellent, fireplaces stocked full of wood, and wall to wall great ambience for a private family retreat.

This place is amazing! The rooms are so cute. The big bay windows in the living room give you the most beautiful view. We were there in the winter and it was still gorgeous. I can only imagine what it’s like in the summer. Everything about this place was perfect for our group.

Absolutely amazing! Jeremy was very responsive to anything that was needed as well as very friendly. The cabin was very beautiful and peaceful and just what we needed to have some us time and relax. Everything worked as it should. I really enjoyed having the coffee maker with local coffee to try, that was very thoughtful and I didn’t expect that. I would definitely stay here again. If you’re looking for friendly hosts and a beautiful cabin this is the spot!

Overall this was an excellent place to stay. The house was cozy, private, welcoming, beautiful, and the location was so peaceful. The hot tub was great! Great communication with the host as well.

This was our family's 6th time visiting Hocking Hills and we have stayed at different places each time. This place by far was the best we have stayed at. Our family of 5 and small dog had an amazing stay. Everything was provided that we needed, everything was clean and well maintained. The entertainment in the house kept my kids occupied for a rainy day, we had Internet service, the TV and options to watch things were amazing and the record player was a great addition. The jacuzzi was clean along with the entire place. We all had a great time together and didn't feel at all confined or stuck together, the place was very spacious. I am not elaborating or anything, this place was the best place we have stayed at. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Blackwood Haven. We came for a weekend in March expecting cold weather, but was surprised to have a warm, beautiful weekend which allowed us to enjoy the wonderful outdoor spaces. The place was very well equipped, especially the coffee bar. Blackwood Haven was very clean. Kevin was prompt in responding to any questions we had, usually replying within a few minutes. We are looking forward to having another long weekend break at Blackwood Haven!

Lovely little private cabin with access to a small trail right on the property. The location is amazing and there’s lots to do in the hocking hills area. Julie and Klaus were wonderful hosts and Julie was on top of it with the information and clear instructions. Which is always appreciated!

Very charming cabin in a great location! The kitchen layout was so nice for cooking. Seating was comfortable and the beds were nice. If we had more time I would have liked to use the jacuzzi! We didn’t feel crowded with 3 adults and a dog. The location is central to a lot of trails. Would happily stay there again!

Such a perfect space for a weekend away! The pond is gorgeous. Pictures don’t do the space justice. Loved the hot tub and fire pit!

Great place for a group. We cooked thanksgiving dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. The Wi-Fi was just so so and didn’t seem strong enough to watch any TV so if that’s important to you, this is something to consider.
