This Japanese-style Airbnb in Fuji was an absolute dream. The traditional design, from the tatami mats to the sliding shoji doors, created a serene and authentic experience. The space was beautifully maintained, warm, and incredibly comfortable — a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The view of Mt. Fuji from the house was breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a hidden gem. The host was gracious and attentive, making us feel right at home. I would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true Japanese experience!

kindest host and very responsive to chats he assisted me by picking me up and dropping of from the bus staion and It's very clear that he went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The room is very spacious, with a bunk bed and a table that's comfortable to sit at for meals. Everything was clean and tidy. Bicycles are available to borrow for a ride around the lake, which added to my positive experience. The host provided me with information about places to visit and tried to help when I had trouble booking a bus to the next city. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking, which was important since the town's restaurants close early. There’s also a supermarket nearby, about a 10–15 minute walk away. The room has a washing machine and a capsule for using it, but since I stayed only two nights, I didn’t use it. It’s a simple apartment, but it met my needs and I felt comfortable there. i will be glad to stay here if i visit again

My husband and I stayed here for the Mt Fuji part of our honeymoon and we cannot rave about BLIKIYA enough. It was so beautiful and in a wonderful location with an easy 15min walk to Chureito Pagoda, a 3min walk to the famous Honcho Street and a 7min walk to the nearest 7eleven. There is so much around and the streets are quaint and stunning. Shoko has so many recommendations in the local area and was extremely responsive. She was also very helpful suggesting ways to get to Mt Fuji from Tokyo, then the best way to get to Kyoto (our next stop). The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole place smelt AMAZING!!!! I cannot imagine a better place we could have stayed. I would highly recommend staying at Shoko’s BLIKIYA WA to everyone and we are so keen to return. If you’re in the fence about where to stay in the Mt Fuji area, you should feel 100% comfortable choosing this place. You won’t regret it. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

This property feels clean & brand new with hi tech design. The living room was spacious, the design is modern and beautiful, it is even better than the photos. It is very cozy to spend time here. We love the living room area,bathroom,and washing machine as well as the location - quite close w/ station.

We stayed here for 3D2N and we were blessed with the view of Mt. Fuji for all 3 days. The Airbnb was super clean and tidy, and the amenities were all there. The beds were comfy and the washing facilities were also modern and new. The rooftop was also super cosy which was a plus. Now the main highlight: this is the PERFECT location for looking at Mt. Fuji, and I’m not even exaggerating. We took a look around the area and we couldn’t see any other open -air rooftops around. Sunrise at Mt. Fuji is magical, and this place makes it extremely easy to do it; just walk out to the rooftop and Mt. Fuji is right there. The nearest train station is Shimoyoshida, and it’s just a straight 8min walk down the same road. We liked the peace and quiet compared to Kawaguchiko station. Don’t be mistaken; this location is literally right next to the famous Honcho street marker on Google Maps and it will be slightly noisy from the crowds of tourists, but once it’s past 5pm there isn’t anyone left.

First, the staff was extremely kind! Their manners blew me out of the water. Jerry gave us a full walk through of the whole house. I definitely LOVED taking a bath while seeing the views of mountains surrounding the home. The bed was SO comfortable. The environment was quiet, clean, walkable. All the windows gave the most beautiful natural lighting. Their traditional Japanese room was an incredible touch. I wish we stayed longer — We had been in Japan for a week so to come to this space before the end of our trip was exactly what we needed to rest and reset. We will definitely be back to this home next year to hike Mt Fuji and will likely stay for the week — We loved this place so much!
