Great stay at Eirik’s apartment. It was perfect for our weekend trip to Hemsedal. Great location and walkable to the ski centre, apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Super cosy stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Line’s apartment. Everything was brand new, spotlessly clean, and in perfect condition. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, and the bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. A big plus was having access to all the Highland Hotel facilities — the sauna and pool were excellent, and we really enjoyed the breakfast shop and both on-site restaurants, which also offer convenient take-out options. The location is fantastic, close to everything we needed, and perfect for exploring the area. We’d especially recommend this place for families — it’s comfortable, spacious, and has everything to make you feel at home. We’d definitely stay here again!

Rigtigt fin lejlighed, var på ski ferie med mine tre drenge og alt var som på billederne og beskrivelse. Flot udsigt fra altanen på 3sal, god parkering i garagen og hvor jeg kunne lade strøm. God oplevelse

Veldig fin og moderne leilighet. Perfekt for vennegjenger eller familie. Vanskelig å komme seg til sentrum uten bil, men ellers fin beliggenhet nærme trekket. Vi koste oss masse:)

Wir haben uns in diesem Apartment sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist super ausgestattet und der Blick über die Skipisten ins Tal ist einmalig. Die Lage direkt an der Skipiste ist kaum zu übertreffen und die Garage ist perfekt für die Aufbewahrung der Skier.

Great location for skiing. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and shops. Very peaceful. I will add to make sure you read the description as I missed having to arrange for sheets. Thankfully the host was proactive and got everything taken care of prior to arrival. We enjoyed returning from skiing to have a glass of wine and watch movies with the kids. The beds were comfortable.

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Nettes Apartment mit guter Ausstattung und guter Lage zu den Skipisten, aber leider direkt an der Straße (Lärm durch Baufahrzeuge und Autos), bei geöffnetem Fester kam von dort sehr viel Schmutz herein. Schöne Aussicht, nette Einrichtung, Bäder prima, nur im en-suite-Bad war ein viel zu kleines Waschbecken; keine Schränke für Bekleidung, aber man kann auch aus dem Koffer leben. Ski etc. haben wir vor der Tür gelagert. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank nochmal an Tonje , wir empfehlen sie gern weiter.

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Fantastisk sted å være med stor familie med kjæledyr, rolig og vakker sted som man bare ønsker å komme tilbake til. Ligger fint, privat ved vannet, skiløyper samt kort vei til alle fasiliteter. Over forventinger vakker, pyntet til Jul. Fantastisk koselig og ekte Julestemning. Hyggelig oh god kommunikasjon med husverten. Takker masse :-).

We spent Christmas at Cathrine’s house , If there was a podium for the houses that we have stayed in the last 10 years , Cathrine’s house would take 1st 🥇 place . This exactly what you expect from an AIRBNB house. The house is spotless, very beautifully designed, the host left everything you would need , same as I would be at home . The only thing that remind me every morning that I am not at home, were the views, which were absolutely stunning. Cathrine is a great host , she communicated very efficiently, very easy to reach .

Jesper might be the most accommodating and helpful host I've had the pleasure of staying with on Airbnb. There was no problem with a request to get into the property earlier than planned. He sent very detailed instructions on how all of the house amenities worked and how to find the property. He was also very proactive in giving us details of things to do locally, good recommendations on local ski hire and spa access. He was always quick to respond and very helpful. The house itself is set up on a hill with stunning views of the valley below. It is walking distance to a button lift into the main ski area and very close to the Fyri hotel and spa. The house was spotless, it has a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and even baking equipment (Which was useful as I had a birthday cake to make!). the beds are very comfortable and the log fire makes the house very cosy indeed. I can highly recommend Jesper and his house and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Everything was perfect, the cabin was lovely and located in short walking distance to the main ski slopes and lifts, calm area but also within walking distance to the famous after ski, and the host is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

Fantastiskt boende i en underbar skidort. Carl var en enastående värd med visad omtanke och bra kommunikation. Flexibel och väldigt vänlig. Rekommenderar Carls fantastiske lägenhet till alla som vill besöka Hemsedal. Tacksam för en fin vecka

Super lækker lejlighed som havde alt hvad vi havde brug for. Lejligheden havde endda en lille arbejdssstation med skærm, mus og tastatur som gjorde det let at arbejde derfra. Alt var nyt og rent. Vi havde håbet på ski-in / ski-out men liften dertil var lukket pga. for lidt sne, så vi endte med at køre i bil i hen til den nærmeste lift. Dejligt med parkeringskælder hvor vi fik bilen ladet op så vi var klar til hjemrejsen.

Vi var på skiferie fra Christians bolig. Det var helt fantastisk med ski in and out. Rigtig flot lejlighed og vi har haft et rigtig godt ophold!

Lägenheten ligger perfekt precis vid skidanläggningen. Thomas är vänlig och enkel att kommunicera med.

En fijn appartement met veel comfort. Met gezin een week naar de sneeuw. Het was comfortabel warm, een prettig uitzicht op de heuvels aan de overkant. Een comfortabele keuken met vaatwasmachine en oven. En een badkamer met wasmachine en droger met de beste douche die we ooit hadden. Appartement is rustig en niet gehorig. Veel privacy. Het ligt op loopafstand van een hele goede bakker/pizzeria (beide aanraders). En fijn dat je gebruik kan maken van zwembad en sauna. Heel fijn dat de auto binnen kon staan tijdens de sneeuwstormen die langskwamen. Paar zaken die wellicht fijn zijn om te weten: - er is 1 kinderkamer met stapelbed. Er is een extra matras in de kast naast de badkamer. Onze kinderen vonden het fijn op een eigen kamer te liggen. Dat kon zonder probleem - veel laadpalen in de nabije omgeving. - centrum op loopafstand. - skibus halte is ongeveer 150 meter lopen en bussen gaan niet ze vaak als in grote ski gebieden. Lopen naar de skilift is wat ver.

Nem indtjekning efter de givne instruktioner. Responderede hurtigt på spørgsmål og var venlig og imødekommende i kommunikationen. Lejligheden var genial, ren, pæn og nydeligt indrettet. Køkkenet havde alt hvad der var behov for, og vi manglede intet. Super lejlighed lige nede for bunden af pisten. Kan varmt anbefales.
