The friendliest Airbnb hosts we have stayed with! Eli-Ann and Berthram were extremely welcoming and the place itself was fantastic. The apartment is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for your stay. We hope to be back again!

Veldig fin leilighet for oss på en familie på 4 og en veldig praktisk beliggenhet. Kort tur til shuttle buss til skitrekk og gang avstand til langrennsløype. En virkelig bonus også var gratis tilgang til basseng og treningsrom ved hotellet rett ved. Supert med app til innlåsing til leiligheten. Dette var greit da våre to ungdommer kunne komme seg inn og ut selv. Kan virkelig anbefales og vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Wir haben mit 4 Personen vier Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Morten übernachtet und es in vollen zügen genossen. Die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer, Balkon und Hauptschlafzimmer war traumhaft! Des Weiteren war die Unterkunft auf einem sehr modernen stand inklusive Sauna. Der direkte Pistenzugang war super, vor allem weil der Lift teilweise noch etwas länger betrieben wurde, als die Hauptlifte und man so problemlos den ganzen Tag auf der Piste verbringen konnte. Auch die Kommunikation war hervorragend, daher Empfehlen wir die Unterkunft definitiv weiter

Vi hadde et flott opphold i leiligheten til Kike, som lå veldig fint til med kort vei til bakken.

Dette var en kjempekoselig leilighet. Smarte oppbevaringsløsninger, godt utstyrt leilighet med fint interiør gjorde at vi raskt følte oss «hjemme» i leiligheten. Transportbåndet rett ved leiligheten gjorde at hele familien inkl. minstemann på 4år kom seg raskt i skibakken. Takk for et fint opphold. Vi kommer gjerne igjen :)

Flott leilighet sentrumsnært i Geilo. Perfekt for barnefamilier eller andre som ønsker en helgeferie i Geilo. Leiligheten var ren og ryddig. Med 3 barn satte vi pris på at det var leker tilgjengelig i leiligheten og noen brettspill i TV-benken. Leiligheten hadde alt vi trengte og mer til. Tusen takk for at vi fikk låne denne flotte leiligheten. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Herlig leilighet med alt du trenger. Nydelig å spise måltid med utsikt rett ut i alpinbakkene.

We had a fantastic winter vacation at this apartment! It’s brand new, beautifully designed, and comes with a convenient parking spot in the garage. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the ski slopes. One of the highlights was access to the swimming pool at the nearby hotel, which was a great bonus after a day on the slopes. The owners were incredibly helpful, providing all the necessary information and responding to any questions very quickly. Highly recommended!

Vi hadde noen fantastiske dagar, stille og rolig. Fin plass for familier, forholdvis kort vei til aktiviteter. Vi tar gjerne turen igjen når anledningen tilbyr seg.

Can't say enough good things about this place, or about our amazing host, Sven. The apartment is exactly what you expect from the pictures...spotless, well appointed, and an outstanding location. Spent New Year's at Sven's place and it did not disappoint, nor did Hemsedal. Watching the fireworks from the deck of Sven's place was something we will never forget. Parking is in the same complex and is super easy. The location is close to the lifts...a few minute walk...as well as to the restaurants and shops in the SkiStar Lodge. In every way, perfect! I have to add that Sven was the most helpful, courteous, and accommodating host we have ever had in our travels. Truly a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for hosting and for sharing your place with us!

It was a really good spot for going on some shorther trips. The area was quiet. We loved the landscape there. The apartment was clean, nice and well equipped. The rooms seemed to be more spacious in the pictures than they were in reality but we didn’t mind. It was 7 of us. I can imagine that if 9 people stay there it might feel a bit crowded. We’d recommend this accommodation to others. ☺️

Jeg og noen venner hadde et flott opphold i leiligheten. Fasilitene sto til forventningene, og beliggenheten var bedre enn vi så for oss. Vertene kommuniserte tydelig og virket svært behjelpelige. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

We had a wonderful time at Henrik’s place. The apartment is big and the view is just amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room is very cosy. The apartment is located at the top of the station where there is no supermarket so it is good to think of what you need before hitting the road. Maybe good also to have chains or socks for the car as the road is steep. We didn’t need them but in case of heavy snow that could be safer. We visited the hotel which is 2 minutes walk from the apartment for a drink and also dinner. It was really nice. The access to the lift is very easy and you can come back until 19.30. For those who prefer cross country skiing, there are beautiful tracks 15 minutes away by car. We definitely recommend Henrik’s place!

Værten er virkeligt flink og hjælpsom. Når vi havde brug for hjælp, var han der straks. Huset bærer meget præg af, at det er et “rigtigt” hjem, hvor der faktisk er lokale beboere uden for sæsonen. Det giver et meget hjemligt præg, som vi fandt hyggeligt. Fx var skabe og skuffer fyldt med private ting; legetøj, mobilopladere, ski briller, og alt muligt nips. Der betød dog også, at fx Køkkenet var lidt sjovt udstyret: 6 gryder, men ingen låg. Kæmpestort Walk in køleskab, men ingen brødrister, elkedel eller mikroovn. Og så fremdeles. Nå ja; og så fandt vi på dag 6 ud af, at der boede en anden familie i kælderen. 😂 Hvis I ønsker en IKEA udstyret klinisk leje-bolig, er dette ikke stedet for dig. Men hvis du ønsker en autentisk bolig med ENESTÅENDE udsigt og en fantastisk vært, så er dette klart stedet for jer, Tusinde tak til Alexander for et fantastisk ophold!

We had a wonderful stay at Aleksander’s house! Aleksander welcomed us and showed us around. We stayed in the winter around New Year with snow all around. The view from the living room is magnificent. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage boys and a dog -the house was perfect with 3 bedrooms. There’s a very large and comfy couch in the living room (and an enormous television ;) The hot tub in the garden was great -even with temperatures of -11 degrees the water was very warm (40 degrees). There’s a sauna in the garden with beautiful views (besides the large sauna near the lake on the pictures). You van also take an ice bath! Ål is a quiet little town with little entertainment -there’s a large supermarket and supercharger at 5 minutes drive. It is a half hour drive to Geilo for skiing or a husky ride!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Vi havde et super skønt ophold i hytten. Den passede perfekt til en stor familie og lå tæt på både alpin og langrendsløjper. Vores kontaktperson var super rar og god til at svare. Vi kan varmt anbefale et ophold her.

We really enjoyed our stay in Geilo and that was in part because of the amazing apartment. Hanne & Espen are wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home. The instructions were clear & they responded immediately on any inquiries. We will definitely return to Geilo and to Hanne & Espen' apartment (if available!)
