A great small house to stay in only 20 minutes walk from the town walls. Quiet, parking place in front of property, very good condition throughout. Good size bed on one room, bunks in 2nd bedroom were fine for our 23yr old son. Book of information was excellent, detailing the property and giving lots of good advice on local parks, restaurants and in particular lots of notes on dog friendly areas.

The house was in an great location, town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Home was lovely and stocked up with things for tea/coffee and more. Hosts communication was clear and consistent and it was easy to check in. Parking was sorted by our hosts and they organised this in advance of our visit. We loved the small touches such as extra plugs in bedrooms and books or leaflets about York. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York, and would look to stay here again!

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Excellent stay with spacious clean well located accommodation. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely use this Airbnb again whenever we come back to Harrogate. The host is very quick to respond and is very accommodating and just made us feel very welcome in her place.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

Judy was an excellent hoist who was extremely accommodating. We had initially booked for 3 months and Judy kindly booked it out on her side for a further 3 months if we were to need it. Due to our personal circumstances changing Judy allowed us to book out of the property following just one month of being there, no questions asked. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore. On top of her excellent hoisting the home is beautiful and in an excellent location if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway 😊 Thank you Judy your hospitality and understanding were very much appreciated.

Me and my family stayed the weekend at Mary Ellen’s best cottage. There was plenty of space for us all (4 adults, 3 children) and the accommodation had everything we needed. The garden is lovely with playground, swings and football area for the children. The woodland and small waterfall was beautiful and great for the children to explore. We made use of the snooker table and the basket ball court. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. We visited Castle Howard which was a short drive away, there was plenty of things there for us to easily fill the day. Our stay was relaxing and I look forward to coming back, thankyou for a lovely stay

Everything about the property was absolutely perfect. We stayed only for one night, but we hope to return and stay for longer. It was super cosy, lovely and warm, the most luxurious bathroom, comfy beds and super hot showers. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous from the outside, with lots of original features and character, but also with all the amenities and luxuries on top.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Communication was excellent and Ellie was very accommodating to our requests. Would totally recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful time, there is so much to do and the cottage is lovely. We all remarked how big the place is because the pictures just did not do it justice. We'll definitely be coming back!!

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The Old Parlour was the best place we have ever stayed on air bnb, we had an amazing experience for my partners 30th. It is a real stand out location and is full of thoughtful touches from Ella and Sam. Extremely clean and fresh, garden was perfect for our toddler and dogs. Stunning walks and views straight from the front door and such a relaxing stay. Cannot wait to return!

Beautiful home, very attentive hosts, even with a slight issue out of the hosts hands, we had a lovely stay.

I brought the break as a 70th birthday gift for my Mother and she thoughroly enjoyed the break, she said it was exactly as described and Liesa was friendly, welcoming and gave them recommendations for dinner. The property is in a great location to explore and managed to visit a few national trust venues, She loved the welcome bits when they arrived and overall had a brilliant stay. Thank you :)

Great Hosts and Stay !

Our 2nd visit to Pauline and Graham's Airbnb so the draw to return was strong. The moment we pulled into the drive we felt at home straight away. The weather was perfect so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the birds whilst having a few beers. The welcome you receive is special and the accommodation is perfect with everything you need for a comfortable few days away. This 2 night break, we visited Rievaulx Abbey and Nunnington Hall both worth a look. The day we left it was interesting watching the bird man ring the various Tits. We look forward to returning again soon.

Lovely apartment- had everything we needed for our stay and excellent location. Immersion heater was explained on our arrival and there was plenty of hot water👍👍 Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was great We would definitely stay here again Thanks Laura

The house looked even better in person than the photos and even they looked good! There’s plenty of room for a large group, there were 10 of us sleeping which I think is a good amount otherwise it’s sofa beds and with everyone getting up at different times this wouldn’t have been ideal. The house has so much going on with personal touches, all weekend we kept noticing different things and having a laugh about them, it’s definitely unique. Our bride had the best time, she loved the house 🩶 would definitely recommend for a hen party. We went into York and a Uber was less than £20 each way for 4 of us. The views are stunning and Helen and her partner are just on hand next door if you need anything. The neighbours are lovely! The gentlemen across the drive deserves a shout out as he was so welcoming and chatty. Thank you! Sharla
