it is very peaceful here. if you follow the directions provided by amy closely, you will have no issues finding this place. we were able to find it in the dark just fine. there was endless firewood for the fire pit and the fireplace, which didn’t go out until our last night there. the kitchen is truly stocked with everything someone could need to cook. there were lots of things to do on site and were never bored. books, streaming services, a great selection of DVDs, board games, card games, and that’s just inside. it wasn’t warm enough to do the outside activities available, but you can bring a boat or kayaks for the lake which connects to other lakes nearby. a list of every amenity and backups available in the house is available on the fireplace. we are truly city girls, so when a couple bugs got in, we just trapped them and let amy know. she was very kind and said she’d take care of it! can’t really ask for more than that. thanks amy and drew!!

Bella Vita was a great host. The property was spotless. The home and backyard were lovely and relaxing. Very comfy beds and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and you could walk to downtown Douglas. A short drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Bella Vita was very responsive and accommodating. We have been coming to this area for many years and can honestly say this was the nicest property we have stayed at. We would definitely return to this property.

This home offers a very private experience for a multiple couples vacation. It has many bedrooms and en suite baths for many of the rooms. The house is very well stocked and the appliances are high end. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but we did use the fireplace in the back and in front of house which was nice for cooler nights. The basement has a pool table, ping pong and air hockey to keep kids busy. If you're a serious pool player, just know it's shooting in a basement and you will have to use short sticks they provide. I think you'll need your pool cue because I didn't see normal size ones but we brought our own so I didn't look around for them. All in all this was a very nice home with lots of space for a large group. You will need to drive to the downtown but it's only a few minutes away. Very nice home!

Frederick was responsive and helpful. The house was great. Comfortable and clean. It was the perfect house to sit around and talk with family.

Hosts were quick to respond and very flexible. House was great place for multiple families to enjoy and not feel crowded.

My husband and our two pups and our extended family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Bob was super responsive with a couple of questions we asked before we arrived. The home was spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The hot tub was perfect on the cold winter days and the house had everything we needed to cook some meals. We would definitely stay here again. The privacy, the view, and the cozy fireplace were just perfect!

The house was beautiful and location perfect for walking downtown and even into Douglas. The pool had amazing views. Kitchen fully stocked, and furniture and bedding very comfortable and felt like home. Jill was very responsive to questions. Would stay there again.

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

Quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of fun things; the zoo, DeVos Performance Hall, etc. Pizza place right next door which was convenient. Unfortunately there was road construction on the street when we stayed, but totally not Stephanie's fault. She alerted me as soon as she was notified and provided me with alternate parking for my stay. Great communication from the host.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

We loved staying at this Airbnb! It was very nicely decorated and homey feeling and the hosts really pay attention to details. We would definitely visit again and wish this trip was longer!

I spent three nights at Sara’s place. It was cozy, clean. with a comfortable bed and coaches. The kitchen was easy to use. Lovely views and relaxing location. I highly recommend Sara’s place.

They say Jennifer is an Airbnb super host… they are so wrong! Jennifer is a SUPER DOOPER hostess!! From the moment I stepped into the place, I was pleasantly surprised!! Modern decor. Immaculately clean . So very comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great stay, the property is awesome! However, if you are looking for a stay where the host communicates quickly, this is not the one for you. They will respond, but all communication we had was off the Airbnb platform.

We enjoyed Ethan's home as a getaway for 3 couples who love to play pool, prepare good food, and sit by the fire. Ethan's stay has a very decent pool table, spacious kitchen, and the fireplace was simple to operate. A bonus was the hot tub, which fits 6, more comfortably 5. Everything was comfortable and as expected, with plenty of room in all the common areas. The living space was especially cozy. The iPad & speaker system on the main level was a nice touch. The outside area is quite private and functional with a grill and outdoor seating. Basically, we used all the amenities this property has to offer, and everything went smoothly. My only caution would be to mind the outside deck parameter after dark, as there is minimal lighting, and it was difficult to see the stairs and walkway leading to the hot tub.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the spa and pool table. It’s a fantastic place for a small group.

Impressive A-frame with a wonderful looking dining room in the basement with an electric fireplace plus access to the back yard. The kitchen was very well equipped as were the bath rooms. We loved hanging out on the massive blue leather sofa in the living room. The park within a short walk was a bonus for the dog. The house is within walking distance of Saugatuck although there is no sidewalk until you get to the roundabout. We all enjoyed your place.

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.
