Amazing waterfront property, great fishing, turtle & bird watching. The hosts Doug & Marcie welcomed us, gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The home is very well stocked & like the pictures. Cute decorating with lots of helpful things to make your trip easy. Kitchen is well supplied & organized. If you want a relaxing peaceful old Florida trip this is the place.

The house was spacious with a nice backyard on the canal. The kitchen had everything needed including spices for cooking in the full size oven. The wooden beams and ping pong table made the house unique. Susan responded promptly to any messages.

Beautiful & quiet location right along the river with tons of paddle boards, kayaks & all the amenities you could ask for. Truly blessed to have found this gem.

Migdalia’s home in Inverness is lovely, super clean with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend and yes we would go back if in the area. We used Inverness as a base to go Manatee spotting, and the location was perfect for travelling to various parks. We had a problem with our hire vehicle on the morning of departure and Migdalia was very understanding.

We loved our stay at Marni's. The house was immaculately clean and had the best equipped kitchen. Every utensil you could need and plenty of pots and pans. The location was perfect for exploring the rivers and creek system. It was quiet, with friendly neighbours. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful home. We had a relaxing family weekend away for a wedding and it was the perfect way to relax after all the wedding festivities. The sunrises are stunning!!!

We needed a place to evacuate to for incoming hurricane Helene. I searched and searched but every place I inquired about was taken due to evacuations. I found Kimberly's place but it was near water, exactly what we wanted to avoid. I sent a message asking if her place was prone to flooding, then continued my search. I was beginning to think we wouldn't find anything. Then I got a message from Kim stating her place is not prone to flooding! She gave us safe harbor just as things were looking pretty bleak. She's a great communicator and very hospitable. The bed is very comfortable and there are a ton of apps on the Roku TV to choose from. We were safe, comfortable and very relieved. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again when the need arises.

Location location location. Dropped our kayaks in the water and we were 5 minutes from the manatees. The river was so beautiful and serene. The house was very comfortable and clean. Host was responsive. Grocery store and plenty of restaurants are within 5 min drive. Dog had plenty of room to roam in the yard. Would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay here!! It was quiet, easy to find, peaceful and fun! Us Canadians found a way to enjoy the pool the first week of March. The cats were an awesome bonus, so incredibly sweet. Our hosts were amazing. Home away from home.

beautiful place in a closed off area. perfect if you have little kids! yards closed off so the kids can play or eat their breakfast outside! 😁 close to the beach ⛱️ or any stores you might need or want to go.

Judy’s place fit our needs for our group of five perfectly. The outdoor space was lovely, and while I was a bit unsure about the space being attached to someone’s home, our privacy respected and it was not an issue at all. The beds were comfy and it was overall a great stay.

Our first visit to Homosassa was nothing short of incredible! From the stunning views to the abundance of nature, every moment felt like a dream. Sally’s place was absolutely beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfectly situated for an unforgettable stay. We truly weren’t ready to leave! Exploring the breathtaking Weeki Wachee was an experience we’ll never forget, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Cheryl’s place was great for my dog and I! I was only in town for a few days, and I almost wish I got to stay longer. It’s definitely off the beaten path, but if that’s what you’re looking for it’s a perfect destination.

We enjoyed our two weeks at the cottage - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved being on the lake. Inverness has so much to offer with parks and lots of local restaurants! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Me and my friends stay here for a few nights and it was absolutely amazing. the view from the backyard alone was terrific. an amazing location free from light polution and loud noises it was nice for us to get away from the city. the place itself was exactly as pictured. Everything was great and I'll think of this place again next time I'm in Ocala.

Off the beaten path, yet close proximity to a number of unique and cool things to do. (Like the animal park, or seafood restaurants) Hosts provide a number of local recommendations and things such as Starbucks or Grocery stores are nearby. Great location near the waterway that leads to other places to explore by kayaks provided by the hosts. Definitely will consider this place again when we return to the area.

This was perfect for my best friends and I to have an awesome weekend reunion. I moved out of the area over a year ago and it was a perfect spot to spend time with those I love and miss the most. We had gone to the dam (recreation area less than a mile away) when we were kids and it was really neat to visit it again more than 20 years later. The beautiful view from the backyard was incredible and the sunsets looked more like paintings than pictures. Our gracious hosts were accommodating for my dogs, which was a necessity. The grill was in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a big tub in the master bathroom that the youngest child was ecstatic for. The tv met everyone’s needs and the WiFi was decent. If it’s available for our next reunion, then it will become a tradition. Thank you for lending us your home for this unforgettable weekend of gingerbread houses, fishing, Christmas movies, good music, and cooking great food with friends and family!

It was such a peaceful stay. The sounds of nature was abundant. Its a very nice place to stay and eould definitely stay again.
