My friend and I were visiting friends who lived in Oldtown so were so pleased. to find the cottage . It was perfect . We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness in the main room and comfy sofas and fire and very well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom . Also as we were lucky with the weather it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the morning in sunshine . It’s a beautiful area and enjoyed visiting Haworth , Halifax and Saltaire . Being in our seventies I would say the only slightly negative thing was the bunk bed though a very comfy one but can imagine that’s great if you have younger people with you . Main bedroom very comfy . Linda was a great host replying promptly to any questions we might have and we would certainly recommend it and hope to come back .

The perfect place for a romantic week away for rest and relaxation. Everything we needed, plus a lovely log burner for cosy evenings. Loved the chickens, despite being bullied by them several times a day! Bridget is lovely, quick to respond while never being intrusive, the ideal host. If you are wavering about whether to book this cottage -don't! You won't regret time spent in this beautiful part of the country.

Jake was an amazing host, very responsive and very helpful. The place was beautiful, looking out onto the animals and even getting to go up close to some of them. It was lovely and clean with everything needed for the perfect night away.

The lodge is lovely. It’s right next to all the walks on Marsden Moor and is so very peaceful! We loved it!

Lovely house, loved the decor and touches around the place. All the beds were really comfortable, felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside table gets some lovely afternoon sun, was great to sit out after our walk. Great location for getting out walking. Loved our stay.

Well what a beautiful place to stay Kyley made its feel very welcome and gave good recommendations she was very helpful and quick to respond, her place was spotless, very tastefully decorated, amazing views and walks all around, loved watching the lambs playing just outside the balcony, it had everything you could possibly want, the chocolates were a lovely touch. The local community shop was well stocked also the Trawden Arms was very friendly and nice food. We popped into the Jackie &Francescas old rock cafe and cake shop in Trawden, it had lovely food and home made cakes. Worth a visit. Kyley made ys feel very welcome and welcome, and gave helpful recommendations, and was very quick to respond. I cannot fault this lovely home definitely worth a visit.
