Had a real nice stay at Aaron’s beach house. Was peaceful and quiet. Highlights were hanging out on the balconies overlooking the ocean, spa pool, ping pong and finding coconuts in the yard. Did quite a bit of cooking and found his kitchen to be very well stocked. The fruit basket was a real nice touch (how I miss the papayas!) Aaron was very responsive and friendly. Helped with recommendations as did local hosts. Beach notes -needs a little traversing to get down. We were a 3 generation family and found it easier to access the beach on the far end (further away from house). There was an easier path on that side. - the ocean was pretty rough when we visited, would need to be a strong swimmer. We didn’t let our 8 & 10 yr old swim but they enjoyed playing in sand and shore’s edge. - was definitely clothing optional

WOW! This is hands down the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! I booked this place having never visited this end of the island before and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Howard met us at check in and showed us the property and created the ambiance with candles and a fire pit going. His place was beautiful, peaceful and serene. The property is adorned with beautiful trees, flowers and fruit. Howard gave us wonderful recommendations and we even joined him and his friends at Uncle Robert’s for the weekly Wednesday night party! Howard is accommodating, warm, friendly and kind. The home is very private and the outdoor shower and bathtub were absolutely perfect! I feel like I’ve found a lifetime friend in Howard and look forward to visiting him again! Thank you so much for everything!!

We stayed 4 days here with extended family in the smaller home on the same property and it was great. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (larger group was 10 total) to spread out. The best part was the beach across the road with good snorkeling (stronger currents so be careful) and lagoon with turtles. Plenty of outdoor gear to borrow- SUP, kayaks, small boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel/fins. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Janice was so kind and communicated great with us. The view is even better in person and the house was bigger in person too! Everything pictured is better than you can imagine. We saw turtles from the cliff every day! Hot tub was fun and so were the games. Neighborhood was great for walks and everyone is so friendly. We did not want to leave!

Truly unbelievable experience at Robyn’s place! The view is spectacular and the photos don’t do it justice, you’ll just have to see it for yourself. Location is very convenient while providing great privacy, would definitely recommend.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! Great location for exploring the Hilo side of the Big Island. Shopping and restaurants were 20 minutes away in Hilo, and Volcano National Park is about an hour away. Also a great location for seeing the real world results of the 2018 volcanic eruption. Place was as described, and very beautiful.

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb accommodations. This condo is the best. It it's perfect for one or two people it they aren't sharing beds. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I have been here multiple times and I am very comfortable here. Restaurants, market, and beaches are close and easy to access. I love staying here. Thank you!

Jennifer and Chad were such kind gracious hosts for letting us stay in their beautiful property and making us feel like cherished guests. It feels like a 5 star hotel and more. spending time with the animals was such a welcome treat. they have hundreds of feet of private ocean front, and an incredible pool and hot tub. Would not hesitate to stay again.

View from the Lanai is amazing! We often saw whales and when we walked out to the water, we could watch sea turtles in the surf. House was very clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable also. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We had an outstanding time! Would definitely stay again!

Sonja and Alex are exemplary Airbnb hosts! They are thoughtful and attentive. We could not have asked for more! If you are going to the Big Island, do yourself a favor and stay in this beautiful oasis. My husband and I had an amazing time, Sonja and Alex left chocolates and fresh island fruits in our space and made us feel 100% at home. Future visits to Hawaii (big island) will be spent here. The jungle house was amazing. Super peaceful, worked perfectly for our family. Very much a secluded, jungle feel. Walking distance to a pretty (clothing optional) beach. The location is very private but also a bit far from other things on the island, be sure to map out the things you want to do and how far the drives will be in advance!

Shiva's place was beautiful! A unique house, with breathtaking views. House was clean, and exactly as described, except there is no shower, just a tub. The lights were a little difficult to figure out, with remotes and such, but we managed when we arrived after dark. Shiva was very prompt with messages, and we used quite a few of her recommendations! Seemed like a very nice person. Definitely would stay here again if we visit the area again!

Truly enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet, homey with high end finishes and an incredible view, even spotted a few whales. It felt like a home away from home. David the host was warm and communicative, and gave amazing recommendations for the best local food and snorkeling spots. I will definitely be coming back for a stay in the future.

Amazing place. Spotless and quiet and with view of the water. Very comfortable bed and kitchen had everything. Kehena beach is a 5 minute walk and is a stunning black sand beach. We had the upstairs while our daughters and friends were down in the lower unit - Great setup for our group of 7. We will Be sure to be back

Beautiful, private neighborhood with lush green plants, trees and landscape and ocean view. Photos represent the home well. Responsive host. No AC which the description states and there is a ceiling fan in every room except the bathrooms and there is an additional floor fan in each bedroom so it cools down in the evenings with multiple screen doors/windows for ventilation. Frogs chirp at night and birds in the morning which I enjoyed. This a quiet neighborhood and the house is great for anyone who wants to feel a part of nature while staying in a lovely home. I appreciated things like yoga mats, a lantern, umbrella, beach chairs, coolers and the boogie board & access to doing laundry. We drank water from the kitchen faucet and it was fine. The Big Island is a bit of a drive to different areas of interest but that will be the case no matter where you stay if you want to see most of the island. Be aware the beach is clothing optional. On clear nights the stars were MAGICAL!

This suite is only a few minutes from town and the host is very responsive. It is very clean, well decorated, has comfortable furniture, and high ceilings. The free parking is right at your door! If needed, you have access to an excellent A/C system. It is a great value!

Incredible place and prime locations. Just walk across the street and you're at the beach. Walk a little to the left and you're at another beach with a huge wading pool. Kids loved snorkeling there. And, although I didn't know at the time of booking, the side and backyard is huge with lush tropical plants. Felt like we were in Costa Rica! As previous guests mentioned, the upstairs is apart from downstairs, with a separate side entrance (they are not connected). But there are no visible neighbors due to all the trees, so I don't know why other reviewers mentioned neighbors being loud. Such is not the case at all; but the beach across the street is public, so it gets crowded during the day. Felt completely safe the whole time.

A fun place for Hilo side! Just a short distance away are amazing black cliffs to enjoy the sunrise from, and you are greeted with quiet nights and all sorts of stars! Loved the outdoor shower.
