I lived here temporarily for about 7 months and really enjoyed the life outside of Waikiki, while also being very close to everything. Kapahulu is wonderful and Kaimuki is also one of my favorite spots on O’ahu. The house had everything I needed to live a “normal” life, IE laundry, kitchen supplies, amenities, etc.

The entire stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We have family that live there so it was a perfect location for us. Upon arrival he was proactive with communication and had all the instructions clearly laid out to understand what the expectations were. We got there and only had 2 beds for sleep space. However, after explaining this to him & his assistant Walter, they corrected the issue immediately providing a sleep sofa for another space to sleep in the living room area. I appreciate their immediate attention and response to this. Providing a solution to make it correct! Everything that was needed was provided both in the kitchen and bathroom, which was refreshing. And the location was nice with a 5 minute walk to Starbucks, restaurants and groceries. And a 10 minute walk to the beach. All in all this was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Unit was exactly as described and pictured. Best deal in Waikiki. Air conditioning worked well. Great view out the window of the water and the Zoo. It is a small unit but very suitable for a couple. Extremely well equipped for such a small space. Very quiet which was surprising given its location in the heart of the action. Kanae was very responsive when we requested to amend our check out date due to a flight cancellation.

Up on a hill, a tranquil spot with great vantage point from which to unwind, enjoy the breeze, and take in the breathtaking surroundings. The place was immaculate, and everything was quite comfortable. Our host was kind, generous and accommodating. From Grandma to the youngest member of our family, we all had a terrific experience and were really impressed with the house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I visited with my mother and four daughters, and we fit comfortably in the space. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it convenient for preparing several meals during our visit. The location was excellent—within easy walking distance of the beach, access to two pools, and numerous dining options nearby. Additionally, if you're considering groceries, I highly recommend delivery services, as drivers are familiar with the property, making it hassle-free.

Amazing location in the heart of Waikiki. Walking distance to literally EVERYTHING so no car is needed. Enjoyed everything about the hotel. Would definitely book again!

We had a great time during our stay! The views and the location were great. It was an easy walk to the ocean/beach. The rental provided essentials (toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc.) which was awesome for the kids. The beds were comfy, we slept great. Thanks for a memorable trip!

The location is great; half a block from Lanikai and 1/2 mile from Kailua Beach. The kitchen is adequate, and the balcony is delightful to sit on.

This place looked exactly like the photos—such a great value for the price! It’s conveniently located near everything, and the host even provides parking and access to a car, which was super helpful. The space was spotless, and oh my gosh, the bed was incredibly comfortable! We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the amazing stay! Just one note: I saw some comments about the parking spot being wet and tight. Yes, it’s true—but the water wasn’t bad at all, and honestly, it rains in the area, so it’s to be expected. The parking is tight, so if you’re not a confident driver, it might be a bit challenging. But my husband and I had no issues at all.

I don't think we could have found a better place or location at such a reasonable rate for Waikiki! Janet's condominium was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Janet graciously allowed us to check-in early because the unit was available, and she is very attentive to let you know how to contact her if the need arises. The security system in place for the elevators and individual units was excellent, and I appreciated the information and amenities provided to enhance our experience. The unit is ideally located a few short blocks to the beach, and within a few minute walk to every restaurant and shopping experience you can imagine! It is also very convenient to book tours because pick-up places are minutes away. We left Hawaii with many great memories, and I would love to return and stay here again. Mahalo.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming dog-friendly duplex. Instructions are clear for which unit it is (lower) and how to get in. There are yummy casual restaurants in the area, which is a residential neighborhood near the University of Hawaii but relatively close to the tourist areas of Waikiki. Price was reasonable for a two-bedroom, one-bath unit (nowhere in Hawaii is cheap), and having the kitchen means you can save some money on meals since you don't have to eat out constantly. We loved sitting on the sleeping porch watching the weather change every few minutes.

TL;DR - It was great with lots of pluses and very few minuses. We rented this 32nd floor condo primarily for its location. It's 2(ish) blocks from the beach - everything is in walking distance. The view from the balcony was great for watching the sunset. The kitchen was pretty well furnished - there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. The beds, for us, were phenomenal - if you like firm foam mattresses. The A/C unit, while noisy, was fully functional and kept the condo cool to our liking overnight. There was a small cooler. For the minuses, not all are within the control of the host but should be recognized. First, we received late notice that the pool was to be closed for the week. The plus is that it was open after 2 days. There are 2 hot tubs but only 1 works fully. The shower has a small glass divider that does a terrible job to keep water in and no bathmat was provided. Some outlets didn't function. There was only 1 umbrella and beach chair - no kids toys (not needed).

We came to for Christmas, New Years and to visit friends in Waipahu. We loved the location, the area was safe, family friendly, close to restaurants and stores. The condo was clean and really cute with all the decorations. We spent a great time having drinks on the patio and watching the fireworks. This was the best spot to see the fireworks. The shower was the best. The location was good because it was close to a freeway and center enough to go all over the island. Definitely will come again!

The building is older, but the location & the price are very reasonable & convenient. You are right in Waikiki but just off the Main Street so it is somewhat more quiet (but it is still Waikiki) I also found the bed comfortable and the A/C worked well. I did bring my own sheets. I liked the kitchen since I was there a week and wanted to cook. It has a nice shower & newer floor & a little patio The host is very nice & responsive. The modem died & they immediately came & fixed it and were very cordial. Thank you! I highly recommend if you are looking to spend less than the local hotels & don’t need a brand new building.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sandra's place! Sandra is lovely, friendly, and accommodating. She had all the amenities we needed and we loved the cool breeze that blew through the apartment. We walked the neighborhood daily for exercise and enjoyed the restaurants down the hillside. Thank you Sandra!!
