Great home to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors.

We loved this cabin, especially during the snow and its proximity to Mt. Hood. We enjoyed the big table for card games and the super cozy living room and all the charm and fully appointed kitchen. It was perfect for our small families and we will definitely be coming back!

I mean, WOW. You will not be able to find anything like this place. The cabin itself is rustic (but beautifully built!), and the interior upgrades are modern, fresh, and inviting! And.... waterfalls! You hear waterfalls as you wake up and the views are unreal. This is such a unique place with such a unique history, that I feel honored that Foster would be willing to share it with the public as a rental. The cabin is so well-modernized with the kitchen and appliances and supplies (even a spice rack of well-stocked spices), and having two bathrooms was awesome. There is a VHS player TV, games, and record-player in the main area, and I am proud to say it fell fun to use the record player and VHS player. There is a modern TV in the main bedroom, but it was barely used. There's a separate little house that is gorgeous and provides more space for guests. I will say that having the wonderfalls and view was wonderful, but you will have to pay more attention with little kids. Thank you, Foster!

Chris’s home was super comfortable with well stocked kitchen and anything you’d need for a getaway. The setting by the river is magical- we saw bald eagles and other waterfowl even in midwinter! Imagine relaxing in the hot tub after a day of snow sports with a view of the river. It’s a perfect spot to get you away from the rat race for a little while! We hope to check it out in warmer weather soon

Really enjoyed this cozy place! This was our first time in the PNW area and we really loved the amazing views of the forest and the gorge that this place offered! This place was in the perfect spot for us to explore both Oregon and Washington!

We initially intended our trip to Mt. Hood to be a snowboarding trip but this house really became the focal point of the trip. We had an amazing stay at Brenda and John's home. It is easily one of the top homes we've stayed at. It had so much charm, but was also renovated for modern amenities and comfort. The beds were really comfortable. Our party was 2 families, and this home had plenty of space and everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the record player / sonos as well as the piano in the living room. The kitchen was also great, stocked with everything we needed, and a grill on the patio that was connected via natural gas. The kids room had a lot of options and we ended up playing a lot of ping pong and scrabble. Host wise, Brenda was amazing. She was available for every question and so helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again and have raved about it to all my friends.

This is a good house in a beautiful location. More than enough towels and bedding, kitchen equipment was plentiful. Our host was responsive to our needs, especially when our navigation skills were lacking on the way there! Deck and hot tub are lovely.Good family time for sure!

This was our second stay at the Smallfoot Farm. The hosts are lovely and helpful. The space is what we need and is very comfortable. Highly recommend and we'll be back!

We did our weekend getaway here and it was the best choice we could've made!!! Firstly the hosts are SO sweet and kind. The place was SO cozy and so homey. Fully equipped with all you need to cook and some extra little goodies. Huge tub!!! The bed and pillows was super comfy (this can cause you to sleep in). - the views are BEAUTIFUL!!! We will definitely try to come back one day!! Loved this place!!!

We stayed at Christine & Martin’s place for a 3rd time-this year a 2nd time on returning from the coast. Their place felt like home & they were engaging & super friendly. They were great hosts & very accommodating. Their studio apartment was clean, comfortable, & very spacious. It was easy to cook there as they had everything you would need. We would definitely return when we’re back in the area!

It was a tad hard to find. We are older so that could have been us. Elizabeth could see we were having a bit of a hard time getting in the room and called me before I had a chance to call her. We were really only there for mornings and sleeping. The place was small but newer, very clean. It worked out great for us.

a 100 yr old home- converted VERY nicely into an air bnb space. the listing was correct, very clean, lots of goodies all around the room[s]. all shower essentials, very thoughtfully appointed. just down the hill is downtown- had 2 nice meals there- very good location.

A wonderful, newly remodeled, condo in government camp. The space was so darling, perfectly organized, and a great location to walk to restaurants. The closest ski in and ski out you can find on Mt Hood as well. One of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay with Andrea and David! Davis was a very welcoming and helpful host. He and his children even brought out toys for my son to play with! (I'm sure playing on the patio and lawn were my son's favorite things about the trip!) Everything was spotlessly clean, but we also felt comfortable there with our toddler. Gorgeous view, beautiful property, location can't be beat! We'd love to stay here again.

Every time I come to Portland, I make sure I can get the Cozy Craftsman. I love how it feels remote and it's peaceful and serene at night.

Very nice house. Me and my girlfriend rented it for a couple days to be near Mt. Hood and go snowboarding. The house was clean and cozy, with comfortable and warm beds. Maria and Chandler also responded quickly to a question we had. We highly recommend the property!

Great location and a beautiful view. Even though there are a few cabins next door, it feels completely private. All the windows face a beautiful forested area and creek. The hot tub was wonderful and the house is clean.

The cabin is very cozy, beautifully restored with lots of resources of things to do in the area and how to use the fire place and such. I have a feeling we will be back!

Great cabin perfect for families or small adult get togethers. Looking forward to staying here again someday.

We had a great stay with our dog. The grounds are expansive with nice walking trails and a beautiful view of the gorge. There are only a few cabins so it feels very private, not crowded. Inside the cabin, it was tastefully decorated, warm and cozy, plenty of outlets and the hot water was very hot. Everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Note that there is a queen bed on the main floor and two twin beds in the loft, I'm really not sure why the listing shows three twin beds, it's just not right. Also, the shower is pretty small, so would not be a good option for someone with mobility challenges.

Had a great weekend stay! The amenities were awesome and loved the peaceful forest surroundings.
