We only stayed here one night while driving up I-95. What a great place. Easy to park and get inside late at night. It was only two of us, but the space was very large and meant to accommodate many more comfortably, especially small children. Great rate as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. There were toys, snacks, and boardgames available. Definitely felt private. If we are in the area, we will be booking again with Elizabeth.

This Airbnb experience was unmatched compared to others I’ve stayed in. All of the wonderful amenities and final touches to the home made it a wonderful stay for my partner and I. It truly was perfect. I definitely have to book with Sandymount again.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The host was wonderfully thoughtful—providing treats and local tips that made me feel so welcome. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy, with plush bedding, a charming fireplace, and stylish details everywhere. It felt like a luxurious home away from home. Couldn’t recommend it more—I’d love to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed here with a colleage for a writing retreat. There were lots of seating options and places to write. On nice days we wrote outside where there is also ample seating. Wifi is excellent -- I was able to connect and work as far out as the end of the dock. The house looks just like the pictures. Calm, private, and peaceful space. The main road was a little closer than I realized and there is a train line on the other side of the lake, but that only caused minimal disruption. We ate at the recommended restaurant, Chapman's, in Southern Pines -- great service and good food. Glen and Cydney were friendly and responsive to texts. Would stay here again.

Richard’s place was absolutely wonderful. Very well kept, welcoming, and felt like home. It’s so comfortable you forget there’s no kitchen. I wish I had my 3 yr old niece; the toys, the books, the backyard playground… we loved it. The owner was very responsive and appreciates communicating. I loved it. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful, surrounded by restaurants and 2 lights from Fort Liberty. This is one you’ll enjoy.

Our stay was far too short! The house was beautiful! Had a great backyard for my kids to play, and a perfect bunk bed for them! My two oldest girls did not want to leave! Everything was so clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying! We had one question and Sofia responded right away! Couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in while we were in NC. We will deff stay again when we come back to visit!!

Alex’s place was well appointed and very comfortable for our family. He thought of nice extra touches including Christmas declarations since we were there around the holidays. We had a brief stay, but would have loved to enjoy the backyard because the setup looks great!

The Perfect Location Comfort Suite

This property is exactly as described. For the price it worked very well for a family needing a bit more than a hotel would be able to afford. Lots of extras if your budget is tight. From things to do to having extra everything .. spices.. drinks in the fridge.. sundries that you may need. Amazing mattress in master, items left for my grandson .. would love to see a good deep clean , while it was clean it could be better and It didn’t hinder our stay at all. Thank you for the hospitality!

Huge Family Home W/ Pool, Games, & Movie Room

I had to have an overflow location for family and friends for my retirement. This place was ideal we experienced every part of the house enjoying each others company. It was a place where my old friends and new grievance family. My friends and I have not had a girls trip in years my retirement was the perfect time for us to meet up and create more memories. This place was a home away from home for us. We danced watching YouTube videos in the family room. We ate midnight snacks and food in the lovely kitchen like the golden girls, and my nephews 13 and 2 just loved being in the space. After coming to what was like home at this location during our stay even the floor was a resting place for us after long hours of conversation to the wee hours of the morning. This was the perfect location for a girls trip. We will definitely be back. The hospitality and convenience to everything was definitely a plus. Military Retirement and girls trip rolled into one. Thanks Gwyn and Mel for hosting.

perfect for an overnight stop during our drive from FL to PA with our small dog. hosts were very responsive to a small issue we had during our stay. very close to downtown with lots to do!

Nav was very proactive with all instructions. Home was adorable, clean, furnished nicely, centrally located near destinations, and had a beautiful park across the street which was perfect for our grandchildren. Will definitely return in the future.
