I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

We had an amazing time at Jarle’s place. It’s equipped with everything to have the perfect holiday one could wish for NYE in Norway from a cosy living-room equipped with a beautiful fireplace and a great view over the mountains all the way to a Sauna which was great. The surrounding nature is just beautiful! Jarle is the perfect host for us and a great communicator. From tips to where we hike or ski to where we can fish or swim we got all the information we wanted plus a lot of help when we most needed! It was a pleasure to spend the holidays at Jarle’s place.

We had a lovely stay in the cabin during February. Very cosy, warm and had all we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Great location for skiing and winter activities near the ski senter. Stian and all other hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Tussen takk :)

Vi koste oss i huset på Lyngøy og kommer gjerne tilbake. Overraskende fint inni huset, finere og koseligere enn på bildene. Nydelig utsikt og natur. Vi så ørn flere ganger og gikk en nydelig tur på øya. Koselig å fyre i peisen når det er kaldt ute. Gode faseliteter og masse sengetøy og håndkler tilgjengelig. Arne er en hyggelig og behjelpelig vert.

nous avons passé une semaine sur bergen et alentours, et deux jours dans ce logement, propre, bien agencé, classe, bien chauffé, fonctionnel. un peu loin de tout ! voiture obligatoire. jaccusi en supplément... un peu dommage, mais placé correctement sur la terrasse il est exceptionnel à utiliser.

Utrolig fin feriebolig. Ble bestilt kvelden før siden forrige Airbnb-vert aldri svarte, og allikevel gikk alt problemfritt. Knut Ove var veldig hyggelig og hadde fyrt i peisen til vi kom og viste oss rundt i huset. Alle gjestene er veldig fornøyd. Vi kommer tilbake neste gang vi er i området!

Das Haus ist noch schöner und größer, als man es auf den Bildern sehen konnte. Das Boothaus am haben wir zwar nicht genutzt, bietet jedoch bei jeglichem Wetter eine gute Möglichkeit Zeit am Wasser zu verbringen. Die Hosts sind sehr nett, wir wurden direkt begrüßt und uns wurde die Unterkunft gezeigt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Cozy cabin on a beautiful fjord. Calm and peaceful surroundings and perfect for a nice weekend away.

Oswad was very accomodating, very helpful and the house and views were fantastic. House was very cosy with wood burning fire and lots of wood. Already planning returen trip

Unser Aufenthalt bei Ingebjorg und Johannes war super. Das Haus war absolut sauber und ruhig gelegen. Ingebjorg und ihre Söhne waren immer hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Helt topp 😃 ikke noe å utsette på noe! Kjempe service, med veldig trivelige utleiere!! Prikken over i’en var eggene fra Hedda 9 år , dattera på gården. Til og med husets hjemmelagde cider kunne vi nyte! Tusen takk for oss 🥰

We booked Ståle’s place for spending new year and we extremely enjoyed it. House looks better than the pictures. He was so kind to start the fireplace before we arrived and we came to a very cozy house. He gave us great tips for places to hang out and activities we could do in the area. Overall it was an amazing experience. Etne has a lot to offer and we are looking forward to coming back in spring summer time.

We had a very nice stay. The sorroundings are incredable and suits a family with kids.

Eine gemütliche Unterkunft direkt am See. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, aber wer sich ein paar enspannte Tage machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Ein Supermarkt ist 10min entfernt.

We simply Loooved Emilie's and Elna's place. Such a priviledge that they shared their home with us. We didn't even want to explore much of the surroundings because it was simply exactly what we needed - watching the waves and water, the clouds and the everchanging weather (torrential rain, wind, sun - all in one day). Just what the doctor ordered! And we could watch that from the deck, but also from inside when the wind and cold got a bit too much outside ;) Even the boys just enjoyed hanging out. And in addition for the home to be so wonderful, Elna and Emilie are such wonderful hosts. They go way beyond and above anyone could expect of a host. We would love to come back.

Die Bilder von der Gastgeberin sind 1:1. Lediglich eine neue Couch stand drin und die Schränke sind ein wenig anders gestellt worden nachdem die Bilder gemacht wurden. Die Wohnung war sauber, Handtücher frisch gewaschen. Bettdecke und Kissen sauber, Bettwäsche war frisch. Die Matratzen an sich fanden wir ein wenig weich. Aber das ist Ansichtssache. Küche hat an Utensilien alles was man benötigt. Der Ausblick ist wirklich sehr schön. Wir hatten zwar viele Wolken und auch Regen. Tut dem Ausblick aber keinen Abbruch. Wandermöglichkeiten sind auch gegeben. Empfehlenswert die Insel dahinter. Die Gastgeberin hat einen Zettel dafür ausgelegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 10-15 Minuten mit Auto entfernt. Die Gastgeberin wohnt darunter. Jedoch ist sie kaum zu merken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und zum Abschalten super.

We have just returned from this beautiful house. Our family rested, relaxed and had fun in these amazing surroundings - we didn't want to leave. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck with the weather (a lot of rain) but were determined not to let this deter from enjoying our holiday. We hired a boat from Truls' Mother-in-law Anny and our boys enjoyed exploring the close by islands and we took it to do our food shop at the Joker a couple of times. The house, it's interior and the view from it is stunning. All living areas are very comfortable. We visited Sand, waterfalls about 30 mins away and drove the 2 hours to Pulpit Rock to do the hike (hard work but so worth it). We walked from the house round to Eroy but the circular route was roped off halfway round so we walked back again - maybe due to the rain we'd had? Didn't matter as the views as we walked were amazing. We flew into Stavanger and hired a car. A very straight forward 2 hour journey including a ferry.

Wonderful location with fantastic view across the fjord. Very private and with a great, spacious garden. Few minutes walk to the water, went for a swim every morning. I was there with three families and the house was big enough to hold us. The communication with Ben was perfect, very friendly and proactive. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful Sognfjord. The house had everything we needed for the whole family with two kids (7 yr and 10 month). Charming old cabin modernly equipped. The location is just amazing with great view into the Fjord, quiet but not to far from shops. We got very clear instructions about the house and useful sightseeing tips.
