If you have a big group (6-10), want privacy and a quiet secluded place right outside Akureyri, you must stay here. The hot tub was a PLUS! You can see the northern lights from this cabin or a 9 min drive to a much darker location (Gasir). Akureyri is beautiful and its own city has everything you need. The host gave us an option to stay due to weather (as long as they are not booked the next day), but we had a tight schedule and had to leave to a different location. Thank you, I highly recommend and we will come back!

We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

You will feel like in your family home. The host is very helpfull and welcoming. 👍

Nos trois jours sont passés très vite.... Nous avions un pêcheur avec nous et jenny a été très sympa....pour lui montrer le spot...et lui a amené du matériel de peche.... Tout était super.....nous serions bien restés plus longtemps

The apartment is even more beautiful and spacious than the photos. Everything was clean, organized, and the host was available to answer any questions. Great stay!

Our first Air BnB thatcame with smiles and handshakes! Helga and her husband are not only great hosts but great people as well. The communication back and forth was quick and easy. Any question we we got an answer instantly... and follow her directions not google! The farm is on one of the most beautiful pieces of land with the most outstanding views, yet a very short to town, grocery store, etc. The space had everything we needed, including a very spacious shower with hot water for days! The bed was very comfy but our favorite room was the living area with all the awesome views. My husband and I now have a joke that Helga turned on the Northern Lights for us... after 8 nights in Iceland with no lights we were able to experience this phenomenon right out the front door. Thanks Helga! Don’t hesitate to book when staying in Akureyri, we hope to be back again one day!

Appartement très sympa avec une jolie vue depuis la véranda. La seconde chambre était un peu petite, la circulation autour du lit (double) était compliquée. La chambre principale en revanche était très spacieuse et agréable. Attention, contrairement à ce qui est dit dans l'annonce, nous n'avons pas trouvé de congélateur. Ne faites pas comme nous, n'achetez pas de produits surgelés ! Rosita nous a gentiment proposé d'utiliser une autre machine à laver, car celle du logement était en panne au moment de notre séjour.

We spent 11 days in this cosy apartment and really recommend staying here. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area close to Akureyri. The beds were comfortable and we had everthing we needed. Anna and her team were always very friendly and helpful. Our daughters enjoyed the horse back riding very, very much. We would like to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Guðlaugur's. The appartment was well located and with every useful equipment. We would definitely go back there.

체크인 할 때 게스트의 실수로 문제가 생겼는데 빠르게 해결됐습니다. 호스트의 해결 방안은 적극적이고 실제로 도움이 되는 것이었습니다. 빠른 응답 또한 좋았습니다. 방 안은 깨끗했고 우리는 아무런 문제를 찾지 못했습니다.

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.

This place is much more over our expectations with stunning city views and spacious rooms. Absolutely worthy of the stay.
