This is a very nice Adirondack camp, with beautiful Long Lake right in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and clean. We found everything we needed. Large windows offer a great view of Long lake. Our host was very responsive. One thing to know is that if you are staying in this house in cold weather you may hear mice in the attic, but this is not unusual in Adirondack camps such as this one. Overall, we recommend this house on beautiful Long Lake to anybody looking to stay in the area.

This spot was great! It served as a base camp for the Adirondack portion of our 2024 fall expedition. It's just minutes from Lake George but not in the chaos so when you are done there you feel like you are going home. Our only regret is that we had so many road trips planned we didn't get to spend much time at Glen lake - it is so peaceful and quiet. However, It was great to wake up each morning to the sun sparkling across the lake and coming right into the living room through the trees, especially with the leaves radiating in color. Everything is right nearby so it's super convenient and it's just a minute from RT87 so you can go where ever you want. The host we're super nice, very friendly and made it feel like we were at our 3rd home - totally comfortable! We'd go back in a heartbeat...

Barbara’s peaceful cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery and right next to the lake. The cabin is also only a short distance from the Lapland skiing center and therefore an ideal location for all cross country skiing fans. Barbara was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We are hoping to come back in the summer

Michele was a very gracious host. She was very communicative and very considerate. Her home was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. She also had everything we needed and everything was labeled in her kitchen which I thought was so cute. Her drawers and cabinets were much more organized than mine. :) She also left some goodies for us to take home and for our little cockapoo to enjoy while at the house. Theo loved his little blanket and toy. Thank you. The view of the river was beautiful and the location of the home was close to Saratoga Spring and Lake Placid which we visited. We are definitely interested in coming back in the summer. I would highly recommend Michele's home. Thank you again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

Allie’s place was great. There were 10 of us. 8 adults and 2 children under 2. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the lake. It was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. Allie was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We had a wonderful time and created lasting memories.

Our stay at the VT Lake house was beautiful! The lake views were unbeatable and the house offers many possibilities especially for larger groups in the summer. We only stayed 3 nights during cold season so we couldn’t really enjoy it to the fullest but it’s a very calm place to sit back and relax and enjoy Vermont. Andrew was very friendly and was to communicate with, checking in several times and sharing recommendations. Honestly we think for this price some parts of the house could use a little more cleaning (maybe also lacked by former guests), for example the kitchen equipment was not very clean, the high chair was actually left pretty dirty and I think we were the first to ever clean the washing and drying machines inside… Besides that we found everything that we needed, also for our baby needs (travel cot, high chair, cutlery…) So overall we had a really good time and I hope this feedback helps you guys to make it even more enjoyable for the next guests :) thank you!

Peaceful, beautiful setting. We heard the owl at night and saw the eagle and the deer by day. Loved sitting on the front porch just watching the bluebirds and the river flow by. The cabin was warm and cozy, we loved the soaking tub on those chilly nights. Kitchen met our needs perfectly, well supplied!

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for my family!! Waking up and having coffee looking out over the lake was wonderful. We cannot wait to come back in the summer time to enjoy kayaking and the outdoor amenities. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and honestly felt like home. Thank you!!!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Comfy beds. Everything had been thought of; cooler bags to use by the lake, super long dog leashes, beach towels etc etc Lake area was gorgeous and made for some fun times watching the sun set over a camp fire. Thank you, ever so much.

We had a great time! Jonathan was very responsive and answered every questions. Jonathan knew we were coming for fishing and since the weather was not cooperating he allowed us to check in earlier. His flexibility was appreciated by my husband who caught 3 huge bass the first day! The place is exactly how it is described. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Home is well stocked and clean. Great board game collection for fun evenings. Saratoga Springs is 35 minutes away for great restaurants and night life but plenty of local restaurant and pizzerias 10 to 15 minutes away. Overall great place with great host! We will definitely be back! Thank you again Jonathan for everything!

Great location. Even with the other cottages there is enough privacy and a lot of space. We brought a few lawn games and had plenty of space to set them up. The small beach area is across the street but very accessible. The kids had fun playing in the water, sadly I forgot our sand toys but they enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. We mostly stayed close but did enjoy a kayaking trip to the lake. (I did not think about life jackets, we were fine without them but if you want them, you will need to bring them) We also enjoyed the hike up the mountain behind the hub which is walking distance from the cottage. Great hike, not too hard, but a good workout with a beautiful view of the lake.

Sarah’s place is warm and cozy, even when it’s bitter cold outside. A beautiful location next to a lovely creek. Easy to get to and located right in town with some good amenities and restaurants.

This was our second time staying at Ania and Stan’s beautiful cabin and just as we anticipated, it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a getaway that feels as cozy as bringing your home to stunning Lake George, this is the place for you! Ania has truly thought of everything! The location really can’t be beat! You have a stunning view of Lake George mixed with the peaceful quiet of the woods surrounding you. If you’re a fan of the night sky, bring your camera because its absolutely breathtaking being able to see so many stars shining right above you. The cabin is so close to town which makes it so easy to get out and really enjoy all that Lake George has to offer. The beds, sofas and linens are all so comfy and cozy. Ania even gave us the heads up that the weather was going to drop quite a bit during our stay and had space heaters already set up to get the cabin nice and comfy for us upon arrival. I cant express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, we cannot wait to get back! 🤍

What a beautiful, quiet and relaxing space! The cabin was cozy and romantic. Also, it was amazing to see so many stars at night! It was a fun adventure around the Adirondacks. There was plenty to do and see. Randi and Liz had great communication and were lovely host. Thank You! ❤️

Great space. Great view of the lake. We stayed on a rainy April weekend so we didn’t get a full feel of the area, but the boathouse was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed our time. Got to hear a loon on Saturday morning - a rare treat for us. Christine was a great host. All instructions were clear and communicated in a timely manner. We didn’t need much while we were there, but she got back to us quickly when we did. One thing to note is the tap water (presumably well?) has a taste to it we didn’t like, but Christine left some bottled water in the fridge to get us started (and some muffins 🥰 - thank you!) and we picked up some more to keep us going. Not really a problem, but just a heads up for future guests.

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

Friendly hosts and cozy stay. They’re good at hospitality.

So thankful for Ms Bonnie opening her home to my family for a weekend get together. We spent so much time in the living room playing games with one another & laughing & just genuinely enjoying each other. We had a wonderful weekend & would love to return one day!
