We had a lovely stay. The cottage is great and plenty of room for everyone. The tablet in the kitchen is great for instructions-we would never have figured out the extractor fan without it! 😆

I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the hot tub—soaking under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself was cozy, well-equipped, and spotless. The horses and chickens added to the feeling of a countryside retreat. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

I booked this for my wife's 40th. the host was outstanding with there responses and efforts to make my wife's birthday special. they organised balloons/banners and flowers for when we arrived, and seafood from the local fishmonger for our evening meal. The cottage was extremely well equipped, the best I have seen yet and the cleanliness was to a very high slandered. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

If your like me, getting away to the countryside is bliss. This property was amazing. It was quiet, with a quirk of trains passing. It was amazing!!! I booked for a minimoon last minute and Jenny was so accomodating to this. We were over the moon. The hot tub was a bonus and didnt matter what time of day, it made everything so much more relaxing. We went out under the stars and due to no light polution, we were able to see all kinds in the sky. Just pure natural beauty. We have already recommended to friends and family and will defo be returning. Thank you Jenny x

A completely exceptional stay, from start to finish! Communication from Gemma was swift, friendly and proactive. The cottage itself was nothing short of perfection; from the comfiest bed I’ve even slept in on a holiday, to the high end luxury finish of the kitchen and bathroom, to the added extra of a spotless hot tub. Everything one could possibly need for a lovely stay was thought of, as well as a very kind welcome champers! Thank you for such a special stay. I can’t recommend you highly enough!

We had a absolutely fantastic time, it was just the tranquil, peaceful break my partner and I needed. The location of the property is beautiful and we were really fortunate with the weather. The property was clean, cozy and Wayne and Dave made us feel right at home. In the home everything was thought of which made checking in effortless. With a short drive you have access to local amenities. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely return in the future.

I have just spent a long weekend here with friends. The cottage is just perfect for a couple or a small family with everything you need. Very clean and spacious. There was a nice little welcome hamper which was greatly appreciated, thank you Henry and Jane. Absolutely beautiful surroundings with many places to walk. Stunning views. There are also a few friendly local pubs but we didnt eat out so can't review those. The hot tub was very welcoming and used every evening. The only feedback I would give is to maybe add some lighting over the hot tub area for when it gets dusk. As you're in the countryside, there isn't any street lamps so it gets very dark at dusk. It only needs ambient lighting. That aside, absolutely no complaints at all from us. We love the relaxation as thats what we needed. I would highly recommend staying at Orchard Cottage. We hope to be returning one day.

We had a wonderful time, there is so much to do and the cottage is lovely. We all remarked how big the place is because the pictures just did not do it justice. We'll definitely be coming back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at 3 Coastguard Cottage. Great location, beautiful beach, cosy warm cottage with everything you need. Louise was a brilliant host. And make sure you try the Thai food truck outside the village store on Fridays & Saturdays. Incredible, so good we had take out both nights. We love this area and we'll definitely go back to stay here. *****

Brilliant little cottage just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town, perfect for a lovely weekend stay. Everything you need is in the cottage, it is clean tidy and very well kept. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again.

Last minute get away with the family! Really nice place out in the country side and not too far from Pocklington for everything you need! Nice clean spacious barn conversion!

Great stay. Lovely peaceful surroundings and nearby villages with lits of places to eat and drink without having to travel too far. The fire was set for us to light when we arrived making it snug and cosy within the hour to enjoy our wine and begin our break. we will be back again!!!

Lovely place to stay, had everything we needed and was nice and quiet. Lots of parking and great instructions from Michael, he did say it could be tricky to find in the dark but his instructions helped a lot. Close to York, would definitely stay again if we’re back up that way

We enjoyed a couple of nights at the cottage and particularly enjoyed the lovely garden and peaceful surroundings. The house was clean and Sara is a very relaxed host, the cottage is her home but she trusts people to treat it with respect and, unlike lots of other properties I've stayed in, we weren't given a long list of instructions for departure jobs. She was very prompt to respond to my many queries and I really appreciated being able to check in from 2pm and have a slightly later checkout - great value for money.

A stunning amd peaceful setting. A really comfortable and cosy cottage with easy access to all activities we wanted to do.

This cottage (& Nicola) were an absolute DREAM! Beautiful touches (like welcome cake, wine, doggy welcome pack!). The place was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We were so happy there and would love to return! 😊

Such a lovely place for a family break. This was by far the best family friendly place we have stayed. The outdoor space was lovely, the location felt really secluded and we really appreciated the thoughtful facilities for young children. Loads of books, toys, games and really family friendly layout. Friendly and welcoming hosts who were responsive and even left us a tasty cake, but also happy to leave us to it. Kitchen was really well equipped too - everything you could possibly need. Thank you so much!

An absolute BEAUT of a place to stay with everything required for an easy and pleasant few days away from home. I was staying for work reasons but it would also be a PERFECT romantic getaway spot - just lovely! And walking distance to the canal and lovely scenery too...

Great stay at Sunkissed cottage, exactly as described with all the home comforts and lovely welcome items on arrival. Really well situated for the beach and swimming pool on site. Lovely and comfortable and clean. Great communication from Joanne. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again.

Great little place for a get away to a beautiful location. House had everything that we needed for a short break away. Location is great and the amenities on site were fab for the kids. Will definitely be back. 🙂
