BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

This was the best birthday trip ever! Jaya was very responsive to messages and provided plenty detailed useful information. Her place was quiet and just steps away from breathtaking views. Perfectly located from the parking garage, elevator and pool/spa. We would definitely choose to stay again in the future.

My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. My family and I only had 3 days to get in a quick getaway. We wanted scenery - we got it . Right on top of a huge lake. Unfortunately -it was so cold we never got to sit on the porch and enjoy a cup of coffee . Perhaps next time. The condo was very clean and the rental agency was extremely great about returning messages and questions . I can appreciate that. The only very minor issue was the garage parking . It was just a bit dated and dark . Could possibly use some repairs and HAPPINESS lol. It did give me some concern because this is the first visual you have BEFORE you get to your condo lol. However the condo was very nice and we overcame the parking garage esthetics . Would we come back again -yes very possible . Thank you for the trip !

If you’re looking for a hidden gem cabin to stay in during your Austin/dripping springs retreat, you have found it. This cabin is private & secluded from Austin’s busy streets. This cabin sits right on the edge of Cyprus Creek with beautiful views of trees for miles. If you’re daring enough to descend the steep stairway, you’ll be greeted with a hidden deck & creek access. Inside the cabin you can find drawers with plentiful clean silverware & utensils. We boiled pasta & warmed sauce our first night there. Before reaching the cabin we stopped by the dripping springs farmers market (Wednesdays only) & grabbed fresh Italian pasta & sauce along with sourdough bread & fresh spring mix. Patti’s breakfast is an absolute MUST try, with the most beautiful breakfast spread delivered right to the cabin door. Omelet made with fresh eggs from her chickens, biscuits from scratch, assorted jams, & homemade hash browns. The $15 that she charges is absolutely worth it. Dog friendly for sure.

This was our second time staying with Jim and Deb. They are wonderful hosts and their place is beautiful.

Wish we could have stayed longer than just a night! The 5 of us (2 adults & 3 medium sized dogs) never felt crowded in this tiny home. We stayed the night as we were traveling to Temple from Lubbock. We will definitely stay longer next time and take advantage of all this rental offers. We were extremely thankful that this rental included a carport, as there was a hail storm and some rain. We enjoyed watching the lightening and storm pass while sitting on the porch. Before the storm came, the dogs and I were able to walk around the property along the dirt road and enjoyed the sights. We were also thankful for the sleeper sofa, as the bedroom was a little too hot for us. This worked out, as we were able to see the sun rise from the fold out bed.

Highly recommend this Airbnb. Such a cozy cabin, enjoyed sitting on rocking chair on porch, seeing deer all around, grilling out, Jacob set my dog up w crate, water bowl, and long leash. It was very peaceful, great to experience Mother Nature, and Jacob was such an amazing host and great guy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay among the olive trees and other pretty and peaceful surroundings. Our dog was able to explore the orchard while we watched the sun set. The house was small but efficient. The two of us and our dog were comfortable and able to relax and cook. It was a great base for us to go hiking at Pedernales. We plan on coming back either friends in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

This was our second stay at Sans Souci and we knew what to expect: a clean house, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, quiet, and directly on the water with kayaks we could use. We mostly came to see family, but we loved our time at the house, in the garden, and on the water.

My 2 teen daughters & I spent 2 months (mid Jan- mid Mar) at Paula's place. Lovely views from within most of the condo, comfy furniture & beds, large master bath, very functional kitchen w/ pretty much whatever we needed. Loads of dishes, silverware, pots & pans. Awesome Ninja blender that we used daily. Paula was very kind & responsive. Very easy to work with. Deck was nice w/ plenty of its own furniture & morning/early afternoon sun. The gym was small but mostly well outfitted. Rarely too crowed. It was a windy road to & from the condo & I kept wishing I had a sports car every time I drove it, haha. I'm not a city gal, so I intentionally chose a place out of the city that was quiet. But when we wanted to, the city was easy enough to access w/in 40 min w/o paying tolls. We saw a few concerts, visited the main Austin sites, & caught the vibes during SXSW. It was a good location to visit surrounding small towns and do some nature walking/hiking, as well. I definitely recommend it!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay over Spring Break. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed, and the pool and hot tub on site were fantastic. Location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Texas hill country, but was offered great proximity to town as well. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering it.

Quiet, peaceful and very relaxing place to spend a few days. Cristen was very responsive and helpful through our stay.

John and Sherri’s place was even better than advertised! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the Backwoods BnB is a large inviting space. Our two young children had plenty to keep them occupied, and morning walks to visit Brandi and Bailey- the two resident longhorns- was a highlight for our son! The large open floor plan worked great for us, and allowed our little ones to tire themselves out before bed each night. Although secluded, the BnB was a great base for day trips to Pedernales Falls, Wimberly, Fredericksburg, and Enchanted Rock. Dripping Springs is also a short drive away for groceries, or a quick meal.

Relaxing and inviting, this beautiful home was the perfect getaway to the Texas Hill Country. Our grown family enjoyed the game room and peaceful surroundings when in need of down time, and were a quick drive away to local restaurants, breweries, and the Austin and San Antonio limits when in need of adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed the clean and eclectic home and the kindness and responsiveness of the hosts.

Awesome place, good for big groups - great view of the lake from the back porch. Very peaceful place. Our group had a nice time, if you want to get away from the city things a great place for it.

We've stayed at 10 different airbnb's this year and this place was by far the best! From the spacious secluded backyard to the extra amenities throughout the home. We loved spending the holidays here. Their family decorated the place for Christmas to make it feel like a loving home. We come to Austin several times each year and look forward to coming back!
