We had a lovely stay here, my partner was doing a weekend course at Sussex Green Woodworking and this was a perfect place for us to stay, just 4 minute drive away. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed having coffee with the noise of horses and chickens nearby. Nice restaurants nearby, would especially recommend Poco Wine about 15 mins drive away. Would definitely be back to explore more of the natural beauty in the area.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful cottage which was very clean, nicely furnished and with lots of helpful bits and bobs (teabags, milk, fairy liquid, shower gel, shampoo etc. and even a bottle of wine!) Comfortable beds and bedding. Soft towels. Sara provided us with a high chair and travel cot on request. Great place to explore East Sussex and Kent from (we did Drusillas, Hever Castle and Ashdown forest). Friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend! My little boy didn't want to leave!

This is our second stay at rose cottage It’s a wonderful peaceful setting and very rural In fact idyllic A peace of heaven not from home which is an hour away Lots of beautiful walks and national trusts The swan and cricketers are good pubs We did a fantastic walk from hatch lands NT which took in east and west clanden coming back into hatch lands And another great walk Cobham to downsize about 6-7 miles Polsden Lacey winkworth arboretum and Reigate hill all good walks as well Colette s home is stunning the horses are beautiful and the paddocks and meadows full of deer rabbit pheasant badgers and owls The bird song magnificent and the red kites all added to a most beautiful stay Will be back soon

Jo was a great host so friendly and very welcoming , Jo even sent useful videos of how to find the house . The house was beautiful so spacious and comfortable with beautiful gardens . The kitchen was so well equipped there was everything I needed to cook a birthday dinner for my mum . The info folders at the house were great and answered any questions we had . We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish .

A wonderful stay in Alresford. We felt right at home and enjoyed the interiors and location. We will definitely be booking again.

We had a super couple of days staying for the Brighton marathon. Easy travel into Brighton from Hassocks. Beautiful walks around the Jack and Jill Windmills and South Downs Way.

We were a group of 6 friends meeting up for a staycation. We had the best time! The barn was really lovely with such an amazing surrounding area. The bedroom I was in downstairs had a great view in the morning watching the sunrise over the field with all the sheep. The barn size was perfect for the 6 of us, with the large dining table to enjoy meals. We got lucky with the beautiful weather, so enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The upstairs snug space was really nice to spend the evening relaxing together. The drive had space for all 4 of our cars & definitely could fit more. Guy was a brilliant host, very quick to reply to any questions. Thanks for a lovely stay, I definitely would LOVE to return!

Sophie & Ed were absolutely amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their Barn is beautifully designed and set out, it is comfortable and had everything and more in it that I needed for a four night stay. The location was a 2 min drive from where I needed to be so it was perfect for travelling to and fro and lovely to come back to after a long day to rest in. Thank you.

We had a wonderful weekend at the barn as an adult family of six, with a baby, and our family dogs too. The property is gorgeous with all the amenities you need. The quality of the kitchen equipment, bedding, furniture etc is exceptional. Beds were so comfortable. We did a lot of walking, sometimes directly from the back door and some excellent walks from a short drive away. We had Sunday dinner at the local pub recommended by Ingela which was delicious, and Ingela's communication and recommendations were spot on. Thank you, we will definitely return if we visit this area again.

We have just spent three nights at Poplar Farm Barns and enjoyed our time hugely. The barns are beautifully renovated with high-end fixtures, fittings and furnishings. Immaculately clean as well. The surroundings are lovely with excellent views from the property. My kids loved the free-roaming chickens, and the horses in the neighbouring field. Holly and Charley were very welcoming and friendly. Everything was just as we’d hoped and our family will definitely return.

Made some wonderful memories here. Bought this for both families to come together and it was absolutely perfect for a complete range of ages from 6 months to 73! It was exactly like the pictures and as described. Plenty around surrounding areas to do and lovely space out the back for all the dogs the run around in. We had a fantastic time! We used all of the bedrooms and the shepherds hut for 11 of us and the space never felt crowded. The open plan living space is excellent and the space provided to eat in was excellent. I would suggest if bringing dogs that you bring a bright torchlight for night times as there is some outdoor lighting but not a lot. Was everything we hoped it would be and more - thank you Tilly!

Loved our stay at Shelagh’s! She had really thought of everything and it felt super homey. The little decoration touches, the breakfast, the log burner, she even left cake for us! It was all so so thoughtful, we loved sitting out the back having a drink and watching the sheep 😊 I would say a car is pretty essential if you want to go out, it’s a short drive to lots of little villages. We loved the coffee & bacon baps at the street bakery!

Couldn’t fault the accommodation. It has everything you need for a self catering break with a clean, modern and luxurious feel. Completely self contained, but within the security and comfort of a private gated home. Wonderful location for easy access to the coastal path for incredible views and relaxing manageable walks to lovely pubs and restaurants making it the perfect weekend retreat. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and the hosts were on hand to depart their local knowledge of the area to ensure you make the most of your stay.

We had a lovely Easter break everything had been thought of even a torch to walk to the local pub. Waking up we saw a couple of deer roaming which was lovely. The barn was immaculate and very cosy. Myself and family would definitely return again. Don't hesitate get booked for a wonderful place to stay!

A gorgeous place in a quiet and secluded spot - perfect for an Easter retreat! The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a few days away. We loved it!

Where do I start?! Clair was the perfect host! Although the piggery is attached to the family home, it is still private and secluded! Shortly after check in Clair came to introduce herself to see if everything was okay and even have a few recommendations! The piggery is surprisingly spacious compared to the pictures. The whole place was spotless! The hot hub is perfect for 2! Not cramped and perfectly cosy! Scenery was fab, the clouds held off and we even managed to enjoy a picturesque sunset on the first night! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely stay at Jo’s place. The Barn was very warm, spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the huge sitting room and well equipped kitchen. We were guests at a wedding in Arundel and it was the perfect place for us to stay. Jo kindly popped over when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and was very easy to communicate with. We would love to have stayed longer, there’s so much to see and do in the area. Lovely weekend at Long Stable. Andrew welcomed us very warmly, ensuring we were settled in once we arrived. Beautiful location, secluded, peaceful and incredibly quiet. Hard to access without a car, but perfect if you want to get away from it all. The barn itself was bright and clean, and the underfloor heating gave a nice ambient warmth. Lighting the wood burner made things really warm - wood, kindling and eco-friendly fire lighters were all provided with clear operating instructions. Bedrooms were comfortable, located at either end of the barn, with bathrooms next door. French doors from every room open out onto a sunny patio with uninterrupted views of surrounding countryside. Kitchen was well equipped and we found it very homely to eat in. Good base for exploring local area. Hastings 30 mins. Farleys House & Gallery (30 mins), a personal highlight, along with Michelham Priory (which you can do in one day with a bit of planning). Great host + lovely location = wonderful weekend.

This was our first Airbnb experience and wow is all I can say. Sally is the perfect host. Everything was top class. We used the hot tub on a lovely warm spring day whilst watching the horses in the field. The barn is stocked with everything you need and there has been a lot of attention to detail. I would highly recommend this for a couple of days r&r. Perfect!

We had such a lovely time at the cottage...it was the perfect peaceful country getaway. The cottage is beautiful and spacious, set in gorgeous farm surroundings. We had everything we needed there! And only a short trip to the beautiful Wittering beaches. Sally went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay! We will definitely be back in the future :-)
