The house was all we needed, the beds were ok, mattress needs an upgrade. Ammenities were really nice and clean. We asked for a fan in the rooms as it was pretty humid, Freddie was more than obliging and when we got Home from a day at the cricket we were greeted by 2 fans for us, very happy. The kitchen and its ammenities were great and all in perfect condition. We were really happy with both Freddie and the property. We will be back.

Orsolya was really helpful in getting us set up in the house. It is definitely their home and it made us feel cosy and at home, too. The sauna was also great!

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

We had a lovely couple of days, Linda was there to greet us when we arrived and answered our questions about the area and where things were. The room was clean and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast items supplied made it really easy in the mornings and the flapjacks on our arrival were delicious with a cup of tea. It is in a quiet area but a short walk from the beach and shops. If we were in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Having stayed over New Year the location and property were both lovely. Sarah and David were always responsive, helpful and very accommodating whilst at the same time being unobtrusive. We had some wonderful walks which were helped by all the information provided within the cottage. I would highly recommend and am so pleased we chose this location and property to start 2025. Thank you Sarah and David.

Mel was always friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that. The house was cozy with pretty decorations, there were lots of encouraging positive "pictures" about life. I dare say a luxurious shower. It was also very nice that I was offered cereal with milk for breakfast. I took advantage of that and it was delicious. I am grateful for this accommodation!

parfaitement accueilli. Parfaitement adapté à nos besoins, deux adultes et un adolescents, petite chambre mansardée au dernier étage d’une maison habitée par Rachel et Morgan. Un lit double un lit simple. Un excellent rapport qualité prix pour la ville de Brighton. Petit déjeuner très correct, servi en chambre entre 7h30 et 10 h selon votre demande. Ticket de stationnement compris dans le prix. (le stationnement à Brighton est assez coûteux.) Je recommande.

Lyfield Barn is a gem of a spot in Hampshire. It is immaculately decorated, super clean and Juliet is a wonderful host. She shared recommendations for food and things to do. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed here a few times now and never disappoints. Very comfortable and Joanne leaves a selection of breakfast items and fruit/tea/coffee to keep you going first thing! Very handy to all amenities around Hampton Court and area.

Hubby and I stayed one night due to a Gatwick flight. The room had everything you can imagine to make our stay super comfy and convenient. Everything provided in the kitchenette and ensuite so no need to unpack your own shampoo and shower gel. We would definately stay again. Thanks Terry for your super hospitality.

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay with everything we needed. We appreciated the breakfast food in the morning. Very nice location and a short walk to a beautiful beach stop. Recommended!!

We traveled from the U.S. and visited Portsmouth for two days before beginning a group tour of the British Isles. Since we would be staying in hotels for the tour, we thought a local AirBnb would be nice. John and Wendy’s place was a perfect fit, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront and colorful South Parade Pier, and a short bus ride to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, our primary destination. John stayed in touch beforehand to make sure we didn’t get lost, and once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh bread, eggs, milk and lemon cake waiting for us. A warm welcome for weary travelers!

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay! A wonderfully appointed accommodation filled with quirky and unique furniture and fittings made for an amazing stay. It was spotlessly clean throughout, everything was pristine. Johnathan had been very helpful in sending me directions on how to find the property and lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. On our arrival he greeted us warmly and said that if we needed anything to just message him. We were really touched by the bottle of Prosecco and chocolates that greeted us and there was plenty of toiletries provided to use in the amazing rainfall shower(& lovely bathrobes!). After a good night’s sleep we were treated to a delicious breakfast including pastries, fresh fruit and homemade granola pots. We loved every minute of our stay(wish it could have been longer), definitely one of our favourite places we’ve stayed in and looking forward to staying again soon. Thank you so much Tina and Mike

It’s a beautiful little place, so peaceful and a full English every morning is a brilliant way to start the day, I thankfully had amazing weather the whole time too. They were lovely hosts offering a very generous tea on tap, the room was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious There are beautiful pubs either side about 3-7mins out by car but worth mentioning that very few things other than a petrol station are walkable due to the country lanes hosting 40-50mph without pavements All round it was a great escape and very friendly experience.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.

Thank you so much Angie and Jon. We had the best weekend. Hot tub was amazing along with bbq and fire pit and there was nothing you wouldn’t do for us honestly, you were both so kind with every thing you done for us the last 2 nights, so unexpected but amazing! And those croissants were sooo good, nice and hot mmm lovely to wake you to! Will come back again soon. Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day Angie. ☺️❤️

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

Jill was a fantastic host, so friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was super cosy and spotless and the house was lovely and full of charm. We didn’t manage to explore the immediate surroundings but it was very beautiful on our way to Brighton. Thanks Again Ben

Sue was very welcoming and helpful. The garden room is a lovely spacious, tastefully decorated place to stay. There were lovely touches like the breakfast, homemade welcome biscuits and toiletries. The bedding and towels were of a great quality. Centrally located for the castle, walks and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I booked this stay for the night of our wedding, as a halfway point between our reception and Gatwick airport. We checked in around 00:30, and the instructions left made this super easy. We could not have chosen a more beautiful, peaceful and relaxing location. The room felt modern but still with lovely little home touches and countryside details, as well as having all the amenities we could have wanted. The cleanliness was 5 star of both the bathroom and the room, and we particularly loved the stand alone bath. Having breakfast delivered to us in the morning was a real treat, not to mention it was absolutely delicious with perfectly runny eggs ! Having this in the privacy of our own room yet with the stable door open to the beautiful area was just perfect. We will definitely be staying here again and for more than one night next time!
