Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

We stayed at the house for 3 nights whilst visiting Pico island. Fantastic Airbnb, the best accommodation by miles during our stay at the Azores (we stayed in a hotel on one island). Aldeia had great communication throughout and recommended activities and restaurants to visit during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Enorm leuk 'parkje' waar je verblijft. Het is lekker rustig en het huisje is ruim, mooi en typische in Azoreaanse stijl. Het zwembad is heerlijk en ligt op een goede plek, de jacuzzi maakt het extra leuk. Het is wel vanaf het huisje 30 minuten rijden naar de meeste bezienswaardigheden en leuke restaurants.

Francisca’s place was wonderful. She was so helpful and responsive and let us arrive early too. The apartment had everything needed for 2 couples, including coffee, water, tea, beach towels. Air conditioning was great too. The location is perfect and walking distance to the beach and harbor and restaurants. We loved Faial and this apartment was a gem. Thank you Francisca!

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Avarat tilat ja mietittyjä säilytystiloja. Huikea hedelmätarha. Kotoisa ja tyylikäs samanaikaisesti. Paras ja mieleenpainuvin AirBnB jossa olemme koskaan olleet (ja olemme olleet monissa). Lämmin kiitos vieraanvaraisuudesta, jonka koki, vaikka isäntä oli tuhansien merimailien päässä. Toivomme palaavamme joku kaunis päivä.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Vor allem die private Terrasse und der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Garten mit den Tieren und tollen Blick auf den Pico haben uns super gefallen. Maria ist eine äußerst nette Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen große. Korb mit regionalen Leckereien sowie einen Obstkorb und sogar einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. So viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt man wirklich selten.

One word, perfect. Great location, cute place, as described, with a small balcony to the back. and a neighbor cat that pops by the back, the cutest! Private parking helps. I would say the initial confirmation or response was a bit late, so there was a tad of uncertainty (this was on the short notice booked), but hands down, still five stars and I would go back in a heartbeat. Great place, well located at madalena near to the main island road, 20min for Sao jorque and 25 min for larjes do pico. Lot of space that's perfect for a family, our children loves the garden. I strongly recommend this house!

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

Lucia was one of the best Airbnb hosts. She and her property were fabulous. Definitely consider staying there. A wonderful way to explore the the other side of the island. Thank you Lucia. Will return!

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

Um lugar especial, muito tranquilo, limpo, excelente para bebés e crianças. Ficámos duas famílias, muito espaçoso, com todos os utensílios necessários disponíveis e um anfitrião espectacular, sempre disponível para nos atender. Sentimo-nos em casa.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.
