Freshly remodeled house with tons of space! Clean rooms, bed, and bathrooms! Enough parking space for two trucks one with a 2 place enclosed and one with a 3 place enclosed. Kitchen was huge and open! Upstairs bedrooms with more than enough space and a big open bathroom! Can’t wait to come back again, walking distance to a few restaurants for dinner after a long day on the trails 10 out of 10!

Ross’s house was in a beautiful location, and he has many beautiful photos all around to study. The windows in the back of the house were so fun to look at the waves, ice formations and aurora borealis.

The accommodations were as described. The place was very well kept and clean. The large room upstairs over looking Portage Lake is beautiful. I would highly recommend. Hope to return next year

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Great short stay while we were in town to check out Michigan Tech. The place was small and rustic but charming with thoughtful updates and features like custom bath salts and fresh local coffee. You could tell it was once an old mining cabin but felt very cozy and perfect for a family of 3. Beds were super comfy, there were plenty of towels, heat and water temp and pressure all were good. Those stairs everyone mentions are truly extreme but not a problem for us. Location was super convenient and only a couple minutes from downtown Houghton by car. It’s not a picturesque neighborhood or walkable to anyplace other than a gas station as far as I could tell, but felt safe and was quiet and fine for us. Our host gave excellent instructions for getting in and had local recommendations in the guest book. Overall it was a great stay and I’d choose it again next time we’re in town!

Alexa’s house was wonderful. The location was perfect. We were snowboarding at Mount Bohemia and loved having an easy 30 min drive to the mountain while being within minutes of restaurants and a grocery and hardware store (which was needed for a boot repair job). I have stayed in a handful of houses in the area and this was by far the most spacious and had plenty of comfortable seating for the 3 of us. Heat was great and I appreciated the fact I didn’t hear a single squeaky floor board. Initially I was slightly concerned that there wasn’t a dryer for wet gear, but the house has plenty of space to hang and store gear and Alexa provided a fan that did the job perfectly! Overall the house was great and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We will be back.

I would definitely recommend staying at your place and plan on booking it again later this year. Thanks for everything. The place was so very clean and loved the accommodations. Again I plan on staying there later this year.!!

Comfortable apartment. Roku TV worked without needing an instruction manual. Well labeled drawers. Clear instructions on getting everything accomplished. Experience of hosts sines through.

This is our second time staying here, and it again it didn't disappoint. Great studio with everything my wife and I needed for a long weekend.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

Loved our stay at Lexie’s place! The side-by-side units worked perfectly for our group. Cool, loft-style apartments right in downtown Houghton! We are big fans and can’t wait to visit again!

This is a great space and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. It is obviously cared for as if it was an extension of someone’s home and you can feel that when you’re there. Extremely cozy and comfortable. Well stocked with all the necessities and super close to downtown, not to mention the fantastic , coffee, donuts and pasties at the shop Downstairs!

The whole stay was great. Very clean, The beds were comfortable to us. The kitchen was stocked with any needed utensils to cook. The bathroom was completely remodeled with lots of room. Lots of room to park your snowmobile trailer. I will forewarn you though, the house sits in a valley and is uphill either way out. Pre-plan your exit strategy with your trailer. I would definitely stay here again, super close trail UP17.

Perfect location to visit Coast Guard friends at nearby base! Clean, quiet, private setting with everything we needed for a weekend away.
