loved staying here. had a nice homey feel. didn't feel staged like most airbnbs. easily walkable location. would absolutely stay again.

It was a beautiful place with a great surrounding area being close to a lot of food and entertainment spots. Definitely recommended others to give this place a try.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was amazing. We enjoyed the games that were at the house. The open lay out allowed for a stress free environment on our couples retreat.

From the moment we walked in the door the house exceeded our expectations. Quiet, inviting and close to Hatcher Pass and Palmer. Master bedroom was serene and the backyard was great to relax in the afternoon sun. Would love to stay here again.

Check-in was a breeze, and Felicia was courteous and attentive. We felt welcomed and had no trouble getting comfortable. I thank Felicia and Tim for being such gracious hosts.

My mom, son, and I had such a wonderful stay! We loved walking to the lake and just the location in general. We loved how cozy it was! We felt right at home without any interruptions. Everything was clean and organized. We loved our stay!

Great house with all the amenities and well thought out details. Kitchen was the highlight that had everything one would ever need. Very tastefully decorated all through the house with an abundance of beds for large family get togethers. Exceeded our expectations across the board on cleanliness,location and ambiance.

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

The place is really nice and in a great location this is my second stay here and I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Wasilla

Dave was quick to respond to some questions I had and also offered many helpful suggestions regarding inquiries I had for adventures in the area. We needed a simple and affordable cabin (with a shower) in the Wasilla/Willow area for a quick overnight. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and arranged/supplied/decorated to efficiently maximize comfort in the cozy space. The main bed was very comfy and my son reports he slept fine on the fold out couch/bed. Her check in/out directions were clear and easy to follow. Since the property has Nancy Lake access, I was trying to squeeze in some kayaking into our tight travel schedule. So I had lots of extra questions that I messaged her about re Kayak rentals and possibly arriving early to kayak before check in etc. Maggie answered each of my extra messages promptly which was very helpful for planning purposes. Her cleaning fee was affordable compared to the crazy high cleaning fees on some properties, so we made sure to do our part by leaving it tidy, washing and putting away all dishes used, and even pre stripped the bed sheets so it would be quicker cleaning for her after.

Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

It was a great location, easy to find. It was perfect for us, we went to have Thanksgiving with family. We did have a couple problems with the lock, Lindsay response was very quick and helpful. We will book again

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Love love love this spot. Definitely one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful for the whole trip. She even let us get a pretty late check out to accommodate our pup’s surgery. The view is stunning. The house was very comfortable, the hot tub was an amazing addition, and it felt like our own private oasis. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone visiting Anchorage!!!

Beautiful, spacious home. My two friends and I spent Christmas Eve and Day here. Playing board games, cooking dinners, and relaxing in the hot tub. The lake was frozen but it would be cool to see it in the summer. Great stay. Would book again.

Amanda is a very responsive host, she has a lovely spacious home, great fenced in area for the pup, conveniently located and easy to find.

All the amenities of home in the seclusion of Alaska, just 15 minutes off the well-beaten path! This place was just as lovely as the pictures show, if not better. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after long days exploring the lake and surrounding areas. The waterfowl and wildlife were unmatched. The WiFi was even better than back home. All facilities were immaculately maintained and well cared for and you can tell the folks that care for this cabin take a lot of pride in it. Please note: This cabin is truly off the well-beaten path. The last 10-15 minutes to the cabin include a mix of gravel roads and one ways. Jennifer went above and beyond in being communicative and transparent with us about the location and accessibility of this cabin and we knew what we were getting into. We were thrilled to stay in such a tranquil place where we saw only one car go by in 3 days! We will definitely be back!
