Firstly, the pictures do not do this darling of a house justice! It is immaculate. We came for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and what a lovely time it is. Close enough to the beach and vibey places, but secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace serenity of the place. Karen was an amazing host! Very communicative, quick to respond and friendly.

Sophie's home was perfect. The charm of a Cape Dutch, down to the delightfully squeaky old hardwood floors, combined with well executed updates that are functional and beautiful. There are incredible spaces indoors and out that allow the house to become a sanctuary from the outside world while only footsteps away from the best beaches, bars, and restaurants of Camps Bay. Whether visiting Cape Town for work or play Sophie's home is a wonderful place to stay.

An outstanding beachfront location and beautifully furnished comfortable accommodation. This home surpassed our expectations and we loved our stay here and would definitely return.

Had a fantastic stay at Rob & Hazel’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness and hospitality truly made the experience special. The location was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed.

Was a cosy place for a family get away. The surrounding is nice, peaceful and weather was good too. Lovely to spend a relaxed moment and enjoy the beach. I recommend you have a car though as Uber takes time to have in the region, unless you familiarise with a local driver to facilitate your transfers.

fabulously beach side cottage with the most stunning sunsets. No downsides, walkable to Camps Bay, coffee shop around the corner and easy with a baby. Would definitely stay again

Had a great stay with my family at Beata’s beach cottage! Peaceful and Friendly. A few steps and we were at the beach! My daughter was thrilled! Beata is a great host and her place was perfect for a family escape. Beata is always there when you need her but also gives you space to enjoy the space in peace. We truly appreciated her approach to hosting. Kommetjie is a hidden gem!

+ total sympatischer Gastgeber, guter zu erreichen, viele Tipps - wohnte bei unserem Aufenthalt nebenan + keine Standardwohnung, sondern sehr kreativ gestalteter Bungalow, viele kleine tolle Extras, man fühlt sich schnell zuhause + auch wenn nicht alles funktioniert und manches sehr durchgespielt ist, viele tolle Spielsachen und Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder (ca. 2-8 Jahre) + Tolle Lage, tolles Grundstück, direkt in Strandnähe und nur ein kleiner Hügel von dem Dorfzentrum und tollen Restaurant entfernt. - Waschmaschine ohne warmes Wasser

I had a wonderful stay at Paul's place. the cabana is beautiful and the area is peaceful and quiet, exactly like what I was looking for. Instructions for everything were clear. 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Julia's house. The house is truely lovely and well equipped. From the terrace we had a scenic view of the bay and the moutain range. You can walk in 10 minutes to restaurants, cafes and shops. We loved to go to the beach every morning and have a cup of coffee there. If we come back to Hout Bay, we would love to stay again at Julia's house.

Glen Cottage was a charming and quaint cottage that meets all expectation. A beautiful setting and close to all amenities especially the beach. It is situated on a quiet and safe road a mere 100m from the beach. it was totally private and felt like home. it was all that Diana said it would be and we would definitely visit again. tx to Diana who made us feel welcome and trusted us with her charming cottage.
