This place was quiet and close to the lake exactly what our group need for our yearly ice fishing trip Leslie was very responsive and easy to talk to would definitely recommend and make a return trip

as advertised .. lovely place. has all that you need. incredible location. Be sure to buy some live lobsters off the dock … 1/4 mile walk from this place.

We stayed for a short weekend trip and the house was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean and organized. The hosts even left flowers, chocolate, and a gift card for ice cream. The house book made it simple to know how everything in the house works. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. The only downside was the restaurant that was recommended in the book (Must Be Nice) was closed even though their website said open. Hoping to get to try it the next time we stay here. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Debi has an adorable, little cozy cabin that we enjoyed for a short getaway. Easy drive into nearby towns, with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Debi’s place was clean, well stocked, and easy for check in/out. She provided great local suggestions, both for things to do and restaurants that could accommodate food allergies. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt very at home. The place is even better than the pictures. Nice walking trails near house. The walk to the dock is a little steep, so walk carefully, especially at night. We are already looking forward to staying with Christopher next year!

We stayed for five nights and had a really relaxing time. The house is just outside of a little town and right off a quiet road. The views from the house are great and the home has huge windows facing the lake. We had a great time using the hot tub. We went on walks nearby and enjoyed getting outside. For the rainy days, the couches upstairs and downstairs are very comfortable and the TVs are easy to use. I would definitely recommend your stay here if you are looking for a peaceful few days.

We had a delightful stay at this cozy, clean and comfortable home. The home was functional, well designed and had a great kitchen for cooking/gathering and was exceptionally well stocked. It was peaceful there with beautiful scenery where we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Didn't go far from the house except to go for a cold water swim on Walker Beach which Samantha directed us to. We walked to the Olsen House/surrounding fields & down to the working wharfs where we were greeted by staff who shared information about the fishermen and sold us lobsters freshly caught. It was very hard for each of us to leave !! But, we left with fun memories and hopes to return one day. Thank you Samantha for being such a great host. I you want to have a peaceful stay at a cabin in the woods, this place’s got it! The surrounding area was very beautiful. There’s lots to do in the pond right by the cabins. The hosts are awesome! They were very proactive and quickly responded to any questions/issues we had. They also provided great local recommendations (I would also add Rangeley Lake to the list). Overall, we had a great time and we were glad we chose this place!
