Sam and Toriki are wonderful hosts and this is a perfect place to stay for people who like to swim, snorkel or kayak and read or and chill in a perfect and simple place. It’ an unbelievably beautiful location and it’s for those who want to get back to nature. Provisioning in town is easy to do; so is going off the motu to Fare or Avea Bay for a lunch or dinner out if you have a rental car at their mainland pier, which I heartily recommend. It was hot in late December and there’s no AC but you just jump in the water to cool off. There are plenty of clean linens and towels. The bed was comfortable and the showers are great, inside and on the beach. Loved every moment of our stay.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. The sunrise is from a dream. It almost doesn’t look real. The home was great inside and the garden was perfect- especially the little tree house that the kids loved to play in. JC went above and beyond as a host. We highly recommend for a family. The location is beautiful and central, a car is a must for this area of Hauhine.

Wonderful stay with Alain and Jean Luc, who are the most gracious hosts. The house is beautiful and well appointed, very clean and tidy. You will never tire of the beautiful view of Maroe Bay from the covered veranda. It is a very quiet and peaceful, end of the road location and you will need a car to get around. Fortunately, there is a rental car available at the house, which is very convenient. The pool and deck are pristine and a lovely option as there isn't really a swimming beach close by. Thanks to Alain and Jean Luc for the hospitality!

Our stay at the Blue Coral House was truly unforgettable, and as first-time visitors to French Polynesia and the beautiful island of Huahine, it exceeded all of our expectations. This Airbnb is the epitome of what we had dreamed our trip would be. Bar none, it was a fantastic experience! If you’re seeking a relaxing and peaceful retreat in an impeccably furnished home with stunning views of a breathtaking lagoon and the bay beyond (the sunrises were pure magic!), look no further. We spent six wonderful nights in this chic Polynesian gem, and Ellinor, the owner, has truly thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor patio overlooking the lagoon was picture-perfect. We also loved the kayaks, which we used daily for adventures in the bay. Jocelyn, the property manager, was amazing—always ready to answer our questions and make our stay even more enjoyable. We simply cannot recommend the Blue Coral House enough.

Vetea, Stellio and Maeva were outstanding hosts, very welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Location is perfect. Would highly recommend and will stay here again in the future.

Tumu Ora was our half acre of heaven for 8 days. The private dock and beach are fantastic and the accommodations are simple and charming. Everything we needed was provided. It was great to be able to easily walk to Fare at a moment’s notice. Lisa was easy to work with and was very accommodating with our questions and minor itinerary change a few weeks before arrival. We had no issues with security or dogs barking in the night. Did I say how great the dock is? So great. We spent the majority of our trip on it, reading, eating, relaxing, diving and snorkeling. The other place that we spent the most time in was the air conditioned bedroom. A life saver as temps never left the mid eighties (with full humidity). The WiFi was solid. Bugs were not a problem for my wife, but they did pester me a little. Not that I saw them, maybe 2-3 mosquitoes the whole time and the itches were forgotten after a quick dip in the sea. We would definitely come back to Tumu Ora. Didn’t really want to leave.

Stay here. It’s the best place to snorkel (no strong currents, peaceful, private) and paddle if you’re not confident in the water. The bungalow was absolutely great. There’s everything down to a first aid kit. Don’t bring your snorkelling gear. They have everything. They are so so so kind and helpful. It’s the best Airbnb I’ve been at. The views were insane. I rented a car at Europcar and buzzed around the island. But you could easily not rent a car, just take a taxi, pass through the supermarket and not move for three days. Easily. It’s a lovely place. And there are bicycles on which you can easily go around the South Island (Huahine-Iti). Easily. I wouldn’t have had such a good trip if I hadn’t stayed here. Merci!
