Such a beautiful AirBnB. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 1 infant. Spacious and wonderful views. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. Lots of outdoor sitting areas, and we enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor fireplace and canoeing. A great location for exploring Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and several beaches. Melissa was a wonderful host 😊. You won’t regret staying at Three Sheep’s to the Wind.

We had the pleasure to stay for the month of August. Great location overlooking a lake, just a short walk to a small quiet beach on the ocean. An old railway track converted to biking/walking path close by. Close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for day trips to Peggy’s cove/Halifax boardwalk/many parks and beaches. The home had everything you need. Just bring your swim trunks and spirit of adventure. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely spot.

Michelle's place was exactly what we expected. It even looked larger in real life vs. photos advertised. we loved the enclosed gazebo the hot tub was located in, the large kitchen table with oodles of seating, open floorplan and the small touches that made it feel aesthetically pleasing and cozy. we will be back sometime in the summer!

We came for the Hunter Moon and fell in love with the sunsets and walking on the beach. Lots of places to explore in the area.

Everything that you could have possibly needed was available. Close to a small little town that had restaurants, grocery store etc. The views in and around the cottage were spectacular

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

Marvellous start of our 5+ weeks Nova Scotia - Newfoundland tour. Lovely apartment with outstanding view located directly at the beach.

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

Fantastic home. Fantastic view. Fantastic host. Awesome 2 weeks. The kitchen was fully equipped; the shower had great water pressure; the host left lots of space in the shelves and cupboards so there was tons of room to store our own items; barbecue was good-absolutely everything was provided to support a great stay. The host was exceptionally responsive -and accommodating. 5 stars with numerous exclamation marks!!!

This place was just what we needed for our stay in Halifax. We were within walking distance of local restaurants and a cycle shop where we could rent bikes. The inside was cosy, clean, and really made you feel welcome. Andrea was responsive and a lovely host! Would definitely recommend. :)

We had a lovely stay at this perfectly located, charming, and very comfortable house. Candace is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Wonderful place to stay, Marilyn was quick to respond with any questions. Check in was easy with pictures from Marilyn as to where and how to enter the suite. The place was exactly as pictured, super clean and well stocked with thoughtful items you might need. Bed was comfortable and the place was very quiet. Thank you again Marilyn, I will definitely be back!

We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

We booked this place last minute for a wedding band on a long weekend and Catherine and Daniel were so accommodating letting us house them in this home. They felt so comfortable being in this big, private space with everything so nearby. The place was perfect and could not have asked for better hosts. They highly recommend!!

Really cozy and stylish place, nice amount of light, Peter was very kind, easy going, responsive, and helpful. I would stay here again! I wish this was my apartment hehe

This is a great place to stay - clean, comfortable, and very well located for exploring downtown Halifax! Ryan and Adam were friendly, accommodating, organized, and communicative hosts. We really enjoyed our stay!

Chef Garrin’s and Patty’s place was a perfect home away from home and a great place to explore the Halifax and Dartmouth areas. Our space was beautifully furnished, spotless, and perfectly suited for all of our needs. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening, watching the lights across the water, under the lovely Sherpa blankets they supplied. Can’t recommend it enough to others!

I had a fantastic time at Catherine's place! She provided plenty of guidance on places to go, and each one was exceptional. She both met me when I arrived and said goodbye when leaving, and she made sure that I had everything I needed. I had to make a sudden last minute change to my booking and she was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Le logement est exceptionnel, super grand (3 niveaux), extrêmement bien équipé et magnifiquement décoré avec de très beaux meubles et objets. Vous êtes logé chez les propriétaires et la maison est très chaleureuse de ce fait. Il y a une terrasse à l'étage et une seconde bien plus grande au sous sol qui permet de descendre sur la baie. La vue est juste extraordinaire, on voit l'eau, les bateaux entre les arbres, c'est tout simplement génial. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Les hôtes sont très disponibles, très arrangeants et très compréhensifs. C'est l'un si ce n'est le plus beau Airbnb dans lequel j'ai jamais été Merci encore

One of those rare times when a house described as "stunning" really lives up to it. John's house near Halifax is beautiful and serene, all windows and wood and incredible views out to the water in the cove and ocean beyond. Surrounded by trees and a garden path down to the dock, it feels private but not isolated. Great house on the inside also - spotlessly clean, streamlined so there's no clutter but everything you need, simple but quite beautiful also. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms and just full of sunlight. Can't imagine a better spot to relax and recharge, and close to lots of good hiking. John is super friendly and responsive, a great host - look forward to coming back.

A truly magical place. Location is ideal to visit so many different towns, trails and excursions. However, starting the morning off on the deck watching the sunrise and then ending the day cooking on the BBQ. The house is fully equipped with every kitchen gadget needed. 3 good sized bedrooms with comfortable mattresses. There is a wonderful community feeling.

The accommodation was as described. It was spacious and very well equipped with comfortable dining, seating and bedroom areas. The location was convenient for accessing the highway , the Eastern Shore and Halifax . Grocery, fuel and restaurants were nearby as were walking trails. I would definitely stay again.
