Great family getaway in Brooklyn. Keep in mind it's Bed-Sty. It's still growing out of the 70's and 80's dark Brooklyn era. Otherwise doesn't take to much "streetwise" to be safe and get around. Yet, has a bohemian vibe with cool shops and coffee places as well as few awesome places to eat! The "G" train is close by. Best bet to get to Manhattan is take G to L to 14th St. to get to Mnahatten. Omni pass works best. Do your research! The place is tucked into a nice community garden and a public park (pretty much 3 blocks on all sides). Heat and hot water worked on demand. We spent our time there end of February. So, it was chilly. Overall, the house was cozy and accommodating, everything was modern and up to date. Beds were comfortable, 3 baths with a family of 4 was a plus! There was a gated driveway for my car. definitely recommend for an adventurous family such as ours. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Sarah and family for letting us stay at your place! Heather's home was the best AirbnB I have stayed in. The building and interiors are spacious, stunning and full of beautiful original features. Heather's taste is impeccable and her house plants enviable (am inspired to try much harder with my own!). Everything you could think of is there. We were relieved to spread out and relax in such a quiet, lovely space after a hectic few days in a hotel in Manhattan. The house is a super stylish, family friendly space with a multitude of great restaurants a few minutes walk away and subway very close. The surrounding streets are full of beautiful historic brownstones. We walked up to a Brooklyn Nets game at the Barclay Centre in the snow and it was a magical experience. Speaking of temperature, despite the fact it was freezing during our visit the temperature in the house was perfect. Heather was an extremely helpful and responsive host, replying immediately when we had the odd query. I can't recommend staying here highly enough.

lovely place to stay in. would come back again. 10-15 minutes walking to the subway which gets you everywhere. even faster if you take the bus right around your corner. really helpful with recommendations and tips before and after we arrived

This is a stunning property, designed by someone with an incredible eye, filled with character and beautiful art. Convenient for transport links and a good coffee shop close by. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Richard is a fantastic host. We loved his house it was beautiful and exquisitely designed. The house is homely and tastefully decorated. It had a well equipped kitchen for my kids allergies. The heating was excellent as we had a very cold spell. My kids even enjoyed the piano that was there. The house is located close to subway. It feels very residential. Unfortunately due to unexpected events we only stayed 3/7 days but it was still a beautiful house to stay in. I would highly recommend Richard. He was helpful and responsive all the time.

Xueting's place in New York was an absolute home away from home! Absolutely perfect place for a family to stay whilst exploring New York! Lovely flat in close proximity to supermarket, amazing bagel shop and lots of bars and restaurants and only 5-10 minutes from the PATH station into Manhatton. We would definitely stay again.

I would definitely go back. Christi is a great host. She makes you feel comfortable. The space is wonderful and big. You never feel cluttered. Everything was very very clean. Way better than a hotel

Sean was a great host. The building has a lot of charme and history. The room was clean and big enough for two people. Sean provides a light breakfast, which was a good start into the day. We would definitely stay with Sean again.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Leslie’s—a lovely, bright room & ensuite bathroom perfectly located on the Upper West Side. A few blocks to the east and you’re right on Broadway, close to everything you could ever need (plus a subway stop to take you anywhere else); a few blocks to the west and you have the calm beauty of Hudson River Park. We hope to come back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay! Place was clean and homey. Very quick and convenient Bus ride to the city! Beautiful view of the city right outside the Airbnb. Host was communicative and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Staying at Joaquin and Jon’s place was honestly one of the best decisions I made in my life. I’m originally from Montreal, Canada and was moving from LA to NYC when I picked their place and they made me feel right at home. They made moving to NY a heartwarming experience and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable (even coming to visit apartments with me!). For anyone out there who is looking to visit NY (especially my Canadian out there), please do yourself a favor and stay at Jon and Joaquin’s place. You will not regret it. The place is even better than on the pictures! Now that I’m in NY, I will stay in contact with Jon and Joaquin (and Molly, their amazing dog) just because they are fabulous people and I’ll never be able to thank them enough for making my move to NY so much smoother! Jon and Joaquin, THANK YOU for everything! You are the best and I already Can’t wait to see you again <3

The townhouse was one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in especially in NYC. We had a group of 6 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space - the bedrooms are giant for NY standards. The kitchen had all of the essentials to have meals in, there are great coffee shops and restaurants nearby and it was super convenient to the trains. Morningside park was a hit with the kids. Lincoln Market for groceries was so close and had everything. We couldnt have been happier with our stay. Moe was also super communicative and helpful with any of our requests! It is a beautiful apartment.

This was our second stay at Gunnar’s place - it is a perfect location for us because our daughter lives nearby. The space is spotless and well appointed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when the opportunity arises!

Dennis's place is the real deal. What you see is what you get. It's a beautiful brownstone and peaceful at night. Transportation options into the touristy parts of Manhattan are plentiful. Amazing local, black owned chocolate shop nearby, which was recommended by the host. We bought so much chocolate there it was ridiculous. Easily housed our party of eight and took advantage of the amenities (washer and dryer in the unit). Sitting out on the balcony was beautiful in the morning - hearing all the birds singing was a plus. I would recommend Dennis's listings.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and loved the space and design of the apartment. getting around was easy with subway stations in walking distance that would take us either side of central park and beyond

We absolutely loved staying at Christinas place over Christmas. The house is as gorgeous as it looks and we felt right at home. The train station and ferry are in walking distance and great restaurants are just around the corner.

Richard’s place was exactly what we needed as it was located in close proximity to my daughter’s place whom I was visiting. It is also very close to the metro station and conveniently located close to local cafes, as well as Brooklyn museum and a fantastic park. The suite had everything we needed for a week stay. Richard was easy to communicate with and very responsive, he gladly adjusted the thermostat and hot water for us which we very much appreciated. One thing to note, you will not be able to lock your space, I understand it’s due to the regulations, could be an issue for some. We’d love to come back the next time visiting my daughter. Thank you!

Just as the pictures and descriptions say. This house is gorgeous and very clean, and a short drive from the ferry made this a perfect stay for our trip to NY. John was an excellent host, always being responsive and flexible. You can tell he puts a lot of pride into his home and the service he provides his guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.
