A great cozy spot for a weekend upstate! The room was big and had a nice walk-in closet area as well as a comfy seating area to enjoy a few local beers while looking out at the mountains. The fire pits were great as well. What we most appreciated were thoughtful extras like a really useful map of the area + local recommendations, complementary granola and yogurt, french press coffee, etc. Really everything you'd need to have a comfortable stay. We plan to come back and try the restaurant when we don't have our dog with us.

We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

Easy, old timey place with self-check in. Bill was very nice and easy, room was warm on a cold night, would stay again.

The mansion was beautiful inside out and very historical it was fun learning about its history, the mansion was very vintage and had a very nostalgic vibe ! The suite is very spacious and that bed is huge and very comfy, overall 10/10 experience!

The Bond is a rare gem that follows thru with what it shows on airbnb. I stayed in one of two dog friendly rooms for 2 weeks for a work trip and I couldn’t of been happier with my choice. If you stay on the weekends the restaurant is hands down the best place in town for food as well as service. Would highly recommend for a long or short stay.

Such a lovely place with lots of character! We stayed here for a night while we took the kids skiing at Mount Peter for the weekend. It was so convenient to be an eight minute drive away from the mountain for their early morning class. We got to explore the very cute Main Street a little bit and next time we absolutely have to try the restaurant downstairs as well! The host was so warm and friendly and responsive and we loved everything about this place. We’d be happy to stay there again next time we visit.

We loved our stay. The place was beautiful and eclectic as well as clean and quiet. René was very friendly upon our arrival making us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again!

Everything about our stay was phenomenal. The rooms are super clean and I love the modern touches like the heated bathroom floors. The bed and sheets were so clean and comfy. There are so many little touches that made our experience special like the firewood, sauna, and corner store. Or the filtered water from the tap. As someone that’s sensitive to fragrances I appreciated the body wash and toiletries that were fragrance free. I love how you are right next to the state park for hiking. Also love that it is dog friendly 👍🏼 Honestly this has been one of the best bnb experiences we’ve had. We are already planning our next stay and to bring friends! We live in a beach town and this is the perfect mountain escape.

place was easy to find. very clean and nicely decorated. wifi was working great. only thing I have to mention is room was a bit small (but this I had read in the reviews already before booking and was comfortable with the choice). Staff was friendly and proactive. both check in and check out went smoothly. I realized though that Bedsheets are not changed in between days, and I could have missed this in the instructions or somewere. otherwise, I would definitely recommend and would stay again.
