My friends and I stayed here for a quick getaway girls weekend and had the best time! The home was very clean and modern which we loved! The projector was also a great addition which we used for a movie night in. There’s lots to do close by which made it even more enjoyable. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back!!

The place was secluded. the hot tub was perfect. The basement was real chill to hang out on a snowy icy evening

We had a great stay here! The setup is perfect for any gathering and the decks provide excellent space to hangout and enjoy the fresh air. Sue was very responsive and accommodating for all of our needs. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to be back soon.

Great communication, beautiful peaceful location, love the creek and the hot tub. The hosts had laid-back and understanding responses. Amenities and then some more than expected, great touch with the air purifiers. Beautiful surroundings, great to escape, would love to come back and maybe even make it a yearly tradition! Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

I loved staying in this home and hope to rent it again. It is just a few minutes from town and nestled in the woods. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

A friend and I took a few days away in Caitlin's beautiful cabin in the middle of winter and enjoyed exploring the beautiful wilderness and quaint small towns of the Poconos. The location was close to lots of great hiking and was quiet and secluded, but close enough to shops and restaurants. Thanks to Caitlin's extensive recommendations, we were able to pick some great places to eat and visit. We particularly loved Native for a delicious dinner! The cabin was easy to get to, even with snow on the ground and a 2-wheel drive car. When we weren't out and about, we enjoyed the amenities of the cabin, watching movies, relaxing in the hot tub, cooking our own meals, and playing games in front of the fire. The beds were comfy and cozy and we slept incredibly well. Caitlin was extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. I'll definitely be back to explore the area again in the summer and would stay here in a heartbeat if it's available - wonderful place!

This was easily my favorite Airbnb I’ve EVER stayed at!! The cabin was the relaxing, peaceful, and perfect weekend getaway that my husband and I needed. The cabin was quaint, charming, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the stream, trees, and mountain views. Thank you Jeff and Sharon, we will most definitely be back!!

A quiet, cozy retreat! We just loved the comfy couch! Power Nap upon arrival. The guest book had quite a number of return visitors, and we expect to join the ranks! Not only did we have everything we needed, but a treasure trove of art books to peruse, and musical instruments (some of which we were able) to play!

Great place for a getaway - cabin was comfortable and came well-equipped!

My husband and I stayed for five nights with our dog. The house is cozy and clean, especially the two luxe bathrooms with heated floors. Michael left clear instructions for using the fireplace, steam shower, dishwasher, and other amenities. He was a kind, responsive host, and we'd love to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at this winter cabin. The setting was peaceful, with great snowy views and a nice, quiet atmosphere. The cabin itself was comfortable, with a cozy fireplace that made the space feel warm and inviting. The hosts were super friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. A small note for future guests: we found it useful to bring our own towels and blankets, as it added a bit of extra comfort for the colder nights. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience, and we’d recommend it for anyone looking for a low-key winter retreat.

My wife, two year old, two dogs, and myself stayed at this beautiful property for our anniversary. It was an easy choice for us as they were able to accommodate our two pups which was important to us. Something that also appealed to us was the playground, which was a few feet away from our cabin. This all made it so easy for us with a toddler and two dogs to vacation with ease. Our host were incredibly friendly and very open to helping us if we were to have any issues or concerns, which we did not because the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to families or people with pets. Our toddler was very found of the lively and very sweet donkey. Thank you so much for hosting us. :)

We really enjoyed our time at Black Bear Cabin. The quaint little cabin was just what we needed for our little getaway. It was private and peaceful with lots to do in the area. We went hiking and explored the little lake side towns. We highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug for a few days. We will find an excuse to come back and stay at the black Bear Cabin again in the future! Thanks Bonnie

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!

Took a weekend trip by myself just to get away and this was the perfect place. Secluded but still rather close to what I wanted to do while here. The electric fireplace and the mini-split kept the place sufficiently warm, and I actually had no trouble using the stairs to sleep in the loft! I also found the way instructions were written in the binder to be amusing and cute in addition to being informative!

We had a fantastic stay here. It’s a very cute and cozy cabin, and well appointed in terms of amenities (well- stocked kitchen, plenty of extra blankets, great selection of board games). We loved the remoteness and privacy. Jessica was communicative and accommodating to our group. I’d highly recommend this place for an off the grid experience.
