This was an amazing find! The place was beautiful, clean, and exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet Thanksgiving - we made our whole Thanksgiving meal here! The views were incredible and the unit was set up to make the most of them. Simy, the host, was so responsive and friendly. We’d love to go back!

This hidden gem, exceeded every expectation we had. From incredible customer service to clean, well kept units with a stunning view we had the most lovely stay. We plan to return again…and bring friends!

This was a last minute booking for two nights, extending my time in Humboldt. What a great place to stay! The beds were super comfy, the home was clean and the fenced yard was great for my little pup. Also, the location is fantastic. Just a block or two from downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Arcata at Loren’s place was perfect! Check in was simple, the house was super clean and comfortable, the beds were extremely comfortable, the hot tub was amazing, and the game room in the garage was so much fun! We had a ping pong tournament! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Arcata was cute and had a plaza downtown for shopping. We also visit Trinidad a few times which was only 15 minutes away. Our vacation was a hit! We visited Humboldt State Park and rode e-bikes, we kayaked in Trinidad, and drove the Avenue of the Giants! Prairie Creek Redwood Forest park was awesome too! Thanks Loren!

This place was a treasure! We had beautiful weather which made sitting out on the deck and taking in the ocean view even more enjoyable. It was also fun to hike down to the beach from the trail just outside the front gate and explore the cute town of Trinidad. Definitely a great find.

This location on Sea View Road in Shelter Cove overlooks the ocean. The windows throughout the house give you ocean views everywhere and the feeling of a wide 180 degree view of the ocean in the living room area. The place is perfectly equipped with kitchen, bathroom, bedding and laundry. It's so relaxing, it really transformed my mood. I also enjoyed the local restaurants, it's overall a very friendly, peaceful place.

this was my first time back in Humboldt since the fires in '20 I just moved back to California and missed the area, Thyme's place was amazing and so peaceful so perfect and so close to everything I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area

ThingsI liked about Bella Vista: first of all, the colors, calming browns and tans, white with accents of black and grey, redwoods outside the kitchen window. Our family gathered for precious time and meals around the dining table looking beautiful with a living room comfortable for all. The only problem, we didn’t have a dog. We don’t have a dog any more. This place is so perfect for a family with a dog. Yard all around and a place to have a camp fire. A note to Brian Cheney: I offer my most humble gratitude for your unintended vision and grace in manifestation from several air mattresses, a company with the integrity in service of Airbnb, Bella Vista shine the light.

Joyce's home is a jewel! Nestled in the redwoods, surrounded by azalea bushes, across the street from Sequoia Park. A beautiful location. Fantastic kitchen. We would definitely come back.

The place was amazing! Gorgeous views of the constantly changing river and ocean - so beautiful! Sage was so helpful and responded so quickly whenever we had a question. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!

This place has the most unbelievable views. Philip's place was great for resting and for working. Overall we quite enjoyed our stay in Shelter Cove, and we'll be coming back!

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Cliff House’s Magnificent Room was ideal for a relaxing weekend. Walking to the Black Sand Beach was a pleasant surprise, and the breathtaking views were unforgettable. The fireplace was inviting, but the hot tub was the highlight—soaking under the stars after exploring the Lost Coast was unmatched. Despite concerns about winter storms, the weather was perfect. The well-equipped kitchen made preparing a Thanksgiving meal easy. A truly memorable experience—we can’t wait to return!

We stopped at Simy’s for two nights during our honeymoon! The house and the beach were breathtaking and we enjoyed the quietness of the area in October. A few cute little restaurants and coffee shops but overall small town feel which we loved and we had everything we needed! Honestly, one of the absolute coolest places I have ever lodged at!
