It was truly a treat to stay at this place. We were busy working and didn't get to take as much advantage of the place or the local surroundings as we would have liked, but Joan proactively communicated and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely stay there again if we come back to Arcata!

Right across from the ocean and an easy walk to the beach, the cottage is intimate and charming. Although right beside the owner’s home, it feels very private and comfortable.

This was our second time experiencing this beautiful place. We returned back because of how much fun and intimate our experience was. I definitely will be returning back.

What a great little place! one of the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. The space is very charming with a lot of prime craftsmanship furnishing the first appt, as well as the home outside. Bed was hard for our liking, but that's just our preference, I'm sure there are a lot of people who prefer a hard bed, just not us :) All in all, we give it a 5 out of 5, because of the condition and charm of the space, as well as all the little touches they implemented that made us feel they went the extra mile to make our stay positive and comfortable.

This was the second time I stayed at Romi’s place and it was just as great as the first time. It’s close to a coop, restaurants, places to hangout and get a drink. Romi provided excellent instructions, recommendations and information for my trip to Arcata. If you need a nice quiet place to stay this is a good option!

We had a blast. Super peaceful & fun. It wasn’t difficult to get into bath spaces. The room was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but it was still roomy enough for two people. Would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Phil & Gail's guest house and enjoyed the drive in and being off the grid for a bit. The beds were very comfortable and the decor and small details throughout, including the garden, were fabulous. Plenty of space for two adults and two small children. Best advise I can give is to come prepared for the remote locale. The local market has a very limited supply. Your best bet is to stop in Ferndale or Fortuna on your way in and plan for simple meals. Don't forget some wine/beer or hot tea to enjoy while taking in the sunset or gazing at the stars. We drove out to the beach for a bit, but otherwise just enjoyed our time at the house before heading out to Shelter Cove the next day.

Shannon was super helpful in moving us to another room after a last minute change in travel plans. The grounds and baths were amazing and the hideaway room is perfectly tucked away - great experience overall!

Awesome place to stay in Arcata! Close to all the things to do in Redwood National Park. Downtown Arcata itself is super cute, walkable, with lots of restaurants, cafes, bookstores, and boutiques. The airbnb was nicely decorated and clean, as well as stocked with everything you need for a short weekend trip. Loved the outdoor gas fire place as well. Would stay here again!

Kate's house is the best in Eureka which has a private entrance, bathroom and most importantly it's in a peaceful and safe neighborhood. It's like a studio apartment without a kitchen which is not necessary for me when I am in Eureka. I wish to stay here many more times in future.

Really cute, bright and clean place to stay for a few days! I enjoyed my time in Annie's cottage. There is a lot of light coming into this well decorated studio as it has several windows. It is also in a great location as it is close to the beach and the highway for visiting the redwoods and Eureka and Arcata. I would definitely come back here.

this place was a really neat spot! it was super clean and quiet and perfect for a place to crash for a couple nights!

What a wonderful place! It is so spacious and has very high ceilings. It is unique. Great location! It was better than we expected. We would love to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay at Ann’s place while traveling to the area for a marathon! Would highly recommended it for anyone visiting the nearby sites.

Nice, quiet stay in the Redwoods as described in the listing. We appreciated having the futon made up for our 3rd person and there were a couple doors to create privacy for the futon person and the bedroom people. Artistic touches throughout. Close to Arcata. They offered use of hot tub if we had wanted.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a convenient and quiet location to walk out dog. Very nicely decorated with all the amenities needed for our stay.

I grew up in the area and visiting family for Christmas. A fantastic location for walking around with its proximity to the downtown area. Most anywhere else you would need to drive to get to anything. Highly recommend for people visiting the area and want to explore a little on foot

Was very helpful from the second we booked. Great orice and location for an AirBNB. Next to the university and beautiful scenery. The home itself was nice and very spacious for 2. Peaceful and quiet with nice windows to let in the morning sun. Overall, somewhere I would definitely stay again.

Kate and Chuck’s place is great! It’s about 30-40 min drive to the Redwoods which was nice. Chuck gave us hiking and local restaurant recommendations too! Most grocery stores and restaurants were 5-10 mins away too. They also made us some pastries that were delightful! Oh and their dogs are so friendly!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Sea Dance! The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was thoughtfully prepared; it seemed like everything we could think of was available. The great location near the coastline overlooking the ocean provided stunning views, and the breath-taking sunsets were the perfect way to end each day. We can't recommend Patty's place enough for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

This is a wonderful place to stay at with a forest view and peaceful surroundings. The house was beautifully decorated and designed with a relaxing vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed reading books by the large windows or sitting outside in the evening in the hot tub or by the fire pit. We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful location and accommodations. We had a great time and will be back!
