Wonderful location, fantastic house with everything we needed. Couldn’t fault it and communication with Janice was faultless.

We had a great family stay in this well equipped and spacious home, literally a minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Lovely welcome pack and helpful & responsive host. Definitely recommended by us all.

This house was a really convenient location. You can walk to local restaurants and supermarket but also drive a short distance to the New Forest. We enjoyed going for cycle rides and walks here it's stunning. The house was clean and looked just like the pictures. Anthea left us a cot and high chair for our toddler which was very useful, as were the retractable stair gates. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a lovely home! Super clean and bright. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Fun amenities such as play ground, table tennis, and tennis available on site. We had a fab weekend away with the family and was just what we needed. Walked the 9km along the canal to Cirencester and got the bus home. The only downside is the fast main road (B4696) and there are no lights along it at night for walking back from local restaurants. Obviously not the hosts fault but worth noting.

We found the cottage well-equipped and cosy, and it was a relaxing place to be. Our hosts were helpful and responsive, and we had everything we needed. It was a lovely place and one we would visit again if in the area.

Stayed for my friends 30th birthday surprise, was a lovely location and very peaceful. You could see Deer in the field opposite. I would recommend getting up early to catch the sunrise in the hot tub. Was amazing to see and very peaceful

Very happy with our New Year stay. The house was modern and comfortable and there was plenty of space for six adults and two teenagers. The location was peaceful and calm and it was great to be able to walk into the village centre for shops and cafes.

Immerse yourself in nature and a world of books. Stanley’s a Bibliophile with an astounding collection of books. A beautifully curated home of antiques, artefacts from world travels, pictures and books displayed creatively in every room, creating wonderful character and ambience, like no other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. There is a great, bright cook’s kitchen/dining area, a huge family table for eating and playing games or listening to some classical music from a beautiful collection. A cosy lounge with log fire and tv, two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom that has a bath and separate walk in shower upstairs. Set in beautiful countryside, this is an outstanding location for peace and quiet, yet a short drive to historic Shaftesbury. Perfect for our family and two young children.
