We loved Porter’s cozy, enchanting off grid cabin with beautifully curated outdoor wooded “rooms” visible through huge windows and sliding glass doors that make the tiny space seem expansive. The cabin had everything we needed including a great cast iron stove that kept us warm through two truly chilly nights. We cooked two competent dinners and a great brunch in the kitchen with assists from the grill. Our one disappointment was that the composting toilet never worked reliably for us even knowing its quirk. But our dog loved exploring the nearby woods and surveying the terrain from inside the cabin. We loved our stay and found Porter to be a great host — generous and thoughtful. Thank you for everything!

Incredible stay, in an incredible location. One of, if not, our favourite airbnb we've stayed at. Beautiful surroundings, in a cosy cabin. Had pretty much everything you could need (just missing some cooking oil). Thank you so much for having us!

My wife and I (and our dog, Miller) stayed at the A-Frame on Pudding Hill for a "Babymoon", and we were very happy with our decision. The house was immaculately clean, just as described in the listing, and it was a perfect accommodation for the two of us. It is obvious that the hosts have thought of everything for this home- furniture for outside, fire pit, hot tub, and BBQ. We felt right at home, and so did Miller! Although listed as a dog-friendly house, you would not know it because the house was so well-kept and didn't smell like a dog has ever been there before. As a host, Lenny was extremely responsive and even allowed us to check-in early upon our request. I would highly recommend this adorable, cozy A-Frame!

The Clove Cabin was a beautiful little getaway in the heart of the Catskills. The cabin was clean, well-furnished, and felt cozy. Our host was communicative and helpful. Plus, for a stay that had so many amenities, using each one was very clear and simple and check out was simple. The cabin is also close to many hikes and small towns. Highly recommend staying here for a little excursion to Upstate New York.

Wow! The pictures don’t even do this place justice. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing weekend. Amanda provided so many great recs for our trip and was so good at communicating leading up to the trip. Would definitely come back again in the summer!

Our stay at Rashmi’s beautiful home and property was perfect. We felt at home and welcome in a very warm environment with everything we needed at our fingertips. Highlights included the record player, hot tub, comfortable beds, fireplace, fire pits, grill and sprawling property. Even with some inclement weather we found something to do. Rashmi responded quickly to our questions and was wonderful to communicate with. We hope we can visit again soon!

Returned to Umi's after having a perfect experience our first time there. Everything was just as we remembered. Complete silence, beautiful views of the mountains, and everything one would need to enjoy a weekend away. The Catskills Mountain House was just as it was described or better. This is still our favorite AIRBNB out of the dozens we've visited!

Nicki's cabin was perfect for my husband and dog during a 2 night stay for the weekend. The cabin is located in a private and peaceful location. Perfect for birding right from indoors in the early morning. Spent cozy nights by the indoor fireplace. Our pup also loved the outdoor space. I highly recommend to anyone visiting to the Catskills mountain for the first time. Woodstock is also close by, we may return again!

Beautiful location...nice and quiet. 7 or 8 mins to woodstock. Decorated seemingly professionally. All the appointments (convennces) you could ask for.

This was easily my favorite Airbnb I’ve EVER stayed at!! The cabin was the relaxing, peaceful, and perfect weekend getaway that my husband and I needed. The cabin was quaint, charming, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the stream, trees, and mountain views. Thank you Jeff and Sharon, we will most definitely be back!!

We stayed here for a 3 day ski weekend with another couple with our kids and dogs. The location was perfect for skiing at Hunter. 5 minutes away from Hunter, 5 minutes away from the Tops supermarket. Not on a main road which was good for the dogs. The house itself had a nice ambiance, the wood burning fireplace stove in the living room was so nice. There were little touches that made the vibe very nice and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Victoria was very responsive and check in was very easy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Katie's place was the perfect cozy getaway! The space was exactly as described. We especially loved spending the evening by the fireplace—it made for such a relaxing experience! The surroundings were very nice and peaceful, where you could hear the creek bubbling away when walking in the neighborhood. Plus, the location was great—just a short drive to Phoenicia and some fantastic hiking spots. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

My family and I had a lovely time at Jon’s cabin. The cabin is so cozy and secluded yet 5 minutes or less from the main strip in Woodstock. The cabin has everything you’ll need for your stay and is decorated with Jon’s Grandfather’s artwork which was really cool to see. We would definitely recommend staying at Jon’s cabin, we felt right at home and would 100% stay again when back in the area. Jon is a wonderful host. Thank you for having us!

We went to Hunter for the week - my wife, daughter, and I - to rest and relax. The cabin is pristine and a wonderful retreat surrounded by nature. We went on hiking trails, admired the mountains, drove to Cooperstown, and took it easy. The owner was very responsive when we had a question and helpful with detailed notes for entry and exit, making our first and last days easy. The place is huge and comfy. A great place for a family break!

Perfect getaway home! Jason and Sarissa’s home was spotless, cozy, and had lovely views of the lake and great natural light beaming through the expansive windows. They were proactive communicators and provided us with everything we needed, even fire wood and some local eggs in the fridge, among other things. You are sure to enjoy getting comfy by the fire, sleeping on the high-quality mattresses, listening to the vinyls, and playing all the games Jason and Sarissa have provided. The place is great for staying put and going nowhere at all, or driving to some of the local towns like Livingston Manor, which was 25-30 min away. Don’t hesitate!

Perfect Little Romantic Getaway Spot I stayed at Birch Creek House recently and honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s super cozy and tucked right next to a creek, so you’ve got that peaceful water sound going the whole time — total vibe. The place was really clean, had everything I needed, and felt super homey. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked, and it was just a great space to relax. They even had board games and puzzles there for us! It’s quiet and private but still close enough to little towns and hiking spots if you want to explore a bit. Highly recommend Kaaterskills Falls! I do wish there was a curtain or some way to cover the big window in the living room — just for a little more privacy at night. And while I missed having a microwave to quickly reheat food, it kind of added to that “living in nature” vibe, having to warm things up the old-school way. Overall, it was a peaceful, refreshing stay. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a wonderful cabin by the lake. The place is very warm in the winter and is spacious for a family. The location is quite close to Windham mountain ski resort and only a short drive. I could see the surrounding will be beautiful in the spring or summer. Very private. The host is very responsive and kind.

This cabin is chic, cozy, and in a beautiful secluded location, such that you can take a dip in the hot tub listening only to birds. It's a true getaway treat. Highly recommend.

Un lugar espectacular para descansar, es tal como se ve en las fotos, tiene todo muy bien organizado, lo malo que solo fuimos por una noche, nos hubiese encantado hacer una parrillada y fogata en el patio, pero si encendimos la chimenea de la sala mientras disfrutamos de una película, cuando llegamos ya no había sol, así que al día siguiente madrugamos para explorar la casa y su alrededor. La ubicación de la cabaña está un poco lejos desde New York si solo vas por una noche como nosotros que vale la pena, lo recomiendo mucho. Muchas gracias
