This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

The house and surrounding grounds were beautiful! You really get a great feeling of upstate New York at its best ! The short walk to the lake opens up to an incredible view ! Anyone looking for an upstate New York get away I would highly recommend a stay here ! Very clean ! And the hosts were very responsive and so easy and nice to deal with !

Scott's place was great. We were so relaxed and felt right at home. We will be going back which is the best compliment I can give an AirBnB. The views were beautiful!

Anne Marie's place was exactly what we were looking for! It is extremely well stocked, with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances, extra blankets, many towels, etc. The surroundings were gorgeous and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Anne Marie was friendly and very responsive, answering questions quickly and flexibly. We can't wait to come back!

Our family had a blast enjoying the home! Our two boys loved the beautiful view, the space, the games provided and the Pacman set up! We had everything we needed for a cozy few days there and had good proximity to The Kartrite! The mornings were so nice with the babbling brook in the backyard as well as the sunset over the lake in the evenings.

My family and I enjoyed staying at such a beautiful home. We cozied up to the fireplace, cooked in the gorgeous large kitchen, and slept like babies in the comfortable beds. And let’s not forget the beautiful views of the lake. Everything that a family could ask for and more for a relaxing weekend. The only thing missing is perhaps at hot tub. ( hint hint). 😉😎 Thank you to the wonderful host for providing easy check in and all the extra amenities. You thought of everything. We look forward to a summer visit, I’m sure the lake is more beautiful. Thank you!

This was our second stay at Seth‘s boathouse and it won’t be our last. Always immaculate and looks just like the pictures. Of course, the hot tub and enjoying coffee on the lower deck was our favorite part, and the beds are so comfortable! If you need a place to stay near New Paltz look no further.

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This place was amazing, exactly like the photos. Whatever cleaning service they use is pristine, it felt like everything was brand new out of the box, not even a fuzz or spec in the bathroom or kitchen. I really appreciated that. The backyard is huge, and a nice unexpected surprise. It’s extremely private and dark at night so recommend getting there during daylight. Hudson is less than 20 mins away and there are great little spots like local 111 in the neighborhood. Had a lot of cooking dishware, also very appreciated. Over all absolutely loved my stay and will absolutely be booking again!

Nice and clean. Quiet and secluded. Host responsive and actively invovled. The hot plate for cooking is very small but Everything works and room was easily warmed once we figured out the heater. Pretty expensive for how bare-bones it is, but if you are looking for a very quiet place to hole up in and work, might be worth the expense.

The space was incredibly cute and cozy, and Janet was so welcoming and very responsive. The views were amazing, and the serene surrounding made it even better. It was a great break from the city. I really enjoyed my stay, I would definitely book again!!

This was a great place for a solo vacation! I was able to do yoga, go in the hot tub, and take a walk around the property!

Stayed here for 12 nights and loved it all! We quickly felt right at home. Such a great area too. Both the morning and evening views were great. Sunsets definitely did not disappoint! And so many deer nearby! One evening we went for a walk and counted almost 75 !! Enjoyed the full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfy bed and great tv ! Thank you so much 😊

Wonderful home and wonderful hosts. John was always available and helpful when we had questions about the area. He gave excellent recommendations on things to do and place to eat/drink. We had a much needed, quiet and relaxing time!

Joshua’s place was clean and spacious. Very peaceful and we loved the little farm with the animals. Wish more businesses like restaurants and parks were opened in the area, but the house itself was great.

We loved the place and the area. Being in the hot tub while it was snowing was a nice touch to a great weekend. We would definitely like to come back for a visit in the summertime.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was very spacious and we had more than enough room for the 7 of us. My favorite part was the lake and I very much enjoyed the scenery every morning. Vivian was very responsive and was a wonderful host throughout the stay. I would love to be back!

Jelena's place was perfect for our quick weekend to west point. Everything was just as described and very comfortable and exceptionally clean. She worked with us for our late arrival and our hectic schedule while we were there. We plan on being back for more visits at west point and will be staying here if it is available to us.

The house was perfect for 2 couples. It was simple, clean, private, attractive. We loved the decor. It was convenient to a great grocery store and restaurants, yet quiet and private.

I can’t say enough positive things about Daniel’s place. The setting was beautiful and serene; It was so quiet and peaceful we almost felt like it was our own private lake! The house was lovely and so tastefully and uniquely decorated. All the windows gave a constant view of the lake. There are many quaint towns to explore within a 30 minute drive, but you may want to spend most of your time enjoying the lake and kayak. We hope to return in the summer.
