We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Large living space, great showers, every bedroom has its own bathroom, technology like tv and wifi all worked perfectly. The hot tub was lovely, the location is beautiful nestled in the hills. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was more stocked than most airbnbs. Jamie was a great communicator, very responsive and kind. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

This place was incredible! Very private and such a cozy little cabin! Will be back again soon!

We had an amazing weekend at this cabin. The owner, Gary, is very nice, responsive, and made sure we had a great stay. The cabin was beautiful and we look forward to coming back!

The property was peaceful and secluded. We loved the pond and hot tub! The cabin was perfect- great use of space, comfortable beds and beautiful view from the living room. It was also extremely clean (probably the cleanest rental I have ever had!). Also, it was very well-stocked. There were plenty of towels both for bathing and multiple hot tub trips for everyone. The kitchen also had plenty of everything we needed. Overall, we would love to visit again!!

Amazing, riverfront cabin with beautiful saltwater pool. The outdoor space is a dream! Spent all mornings and evenings on rocking chairs out front. Kat responded quickly. The house had many amenities and thoughtful touches. Would love to come back!

We were super happy with everything and had a very relaxing weekend! Landon was very nice and quick to respond about our questions. Location was great, back in the woods and nicely secluded, with a nice little mountain stream that flowed right beside the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and also the games in the basement. Will consider coming back!

This was our 2nd stay at this house and we plan to return. The surroundings and property are peaceful and comfortable. There is plenty to do with the game room, TVs and fire pit. Several upgrades were made from our last visit including a new top floor bathroom remodel and a new living room sectional that was so comfortable after days of hiking. The kitchen is well appointed and blankets and towels are plentiful. This was the perfect getaway spot for our group and dogs.

Siblings' weekend in the woods. Peter's cabin is beautiful, peaceful & private. Very spacious and accommodations are comfortable. Appreciated the cleanliness of Kitchen & baths. Would recommend for a quiet getaway or fun get together for family & friends. Peter was very responsive & available. Great cabin in the woods!

Everything was amazing. I would have liked if the cell signal was better but im camping so that's not a big deal. it would be nice if there were more trails onsight. only a few fishing spots u could reach. And a boat would cost 800 a day which I couldn't afford. But all that said, litteraly everything else was perfect. Beautiful location, great ppl and they provided everything you need for a camping trip. I will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin! Incredible historic architecture with it being built in 1828, and renovated in a way that keeps the charm while making it comfortable and with all the amenities. Very responsive and thoughtful hosts. We look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at the Spruce Creek Cabin. It exceeded our expectation of having a peaceful and beautiful location. I would highly recommend Spruce Creek Cabin for a relaxing retreat.

The place was perfect tucked away in the woods with plenty of its own space. We absolutely loved it as we needed a place to recharge and get out of the norm for a few days. Everything was as explained and clean. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again

We requested a couple of items. Richard was quick to respond and accommodating. I don't remember reading how long ago they remodeled but it is like new inside. The bed is very comfortable. Slept well. It is close to the road but still peaceful. We will definitely be returning! I will bring slippers the next time. The floor is cool in between the area rugs which is expected. Heat works well. We were very cozy. (It was in the 50s outside)

Kayla was very responsive and we enjoyed our weekend stay here.

I was planning on section hiking part of the Standing Stone Trail. I was looking for a cabin in the woods. Sharon did not disappoint. The place was very clean and exactly as described. Her instructions were very easy to follow. Great all around.

Home was clean and well kept. Beautiful interior, mountainman like. Porch and deck were very nice. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was nice, living room was great. Great experience. Will be back next year.

I really lived the remoteness of the area, as that is always my preference. I loved watching the chickens wandering about. The place was clean and comfortable, and the host was gracious.

we were looking for a small cabin to escape to for a few days and this one couldn't have been more perfect. everything was hand crafted and beautifully detailed, built by the owner and his son's with so much love!! we had such a peaceful time at sassafras hollow. Our first night we spent the evening roasting marshmallows by the lake nearby. the second day I was lucky enough to participate in a workshop hosted in the owner's woodshop right on the property! I chose to turn a wood bowl and it was a very tactile experience! the cabin is stocked nicely with records and books and movies. Do keep in mind, most establishments are at least 30 minutes away, so it may be worth preparing and bringing enough food for your stay. that's what we did and it was so nice to have everything we needed on hand. the kitchenette is a bit small, but had everything we needed to prepare a lovely dinner. I cannot recommend this gorgeous cabin enough! such crisp air and stunning views!

The cabin in Saxton was a great home away from home for our family to meet for Thanksgiving this year. The place was comfortable and warm with all of the wood and coordinating decor, and the small touches by the hostess (recommendations, toiletries, etc.) showed her attention to detail and ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. When we had to reach out to Kacie for something, she was quick to respond (even on Thanksgiving day) and willing to help if needed.

We booked Madison's cabin over the Christmas holidays as it was close to family. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was decorated festively and we even had a tree for the presents! Our dates changed slightly and the host was super accommodating and allowed us to change our stay slightly at the last minute. The cabin was perfect for us and we were even able to host "Christmas dinner" using all the kitchen supplies making duroc pork chops, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and more. Our two daughters thoroughly enjoyed staying in the cabin and were sad to leave. Everyone had an amazing time and we can't thank Madison enough for being so flexible.

Came with a group of 14 and everyone was able to comfortably fit. The host was extremely kind and made sure that we had all the information we needed to feel safe and comfortable. The place was clean and very homey. The property was absolutely beautiful. The highlight of the trip was being able to go outside at night and see all the stars. It is in the middle of nowhere so make sure you bring everything you need and maybe extras in case. But we would recommend the place as a MUST visit.
