The deck and outdoor space is a lovely place to whittle away an afternoon or two. Two living areas allow plenty of room to lounge, with a wood fire-place being lovely and toasty in the cooler months. The large modern kitchen has all the mod cons, with a fully equipped laundry, large modern bathroom (incl bath), and master bedroom with it's own ensuite.

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Tranquil Karekare Valley Home

Tranquil Valley Home, 4 guests 2 upstairs bedrooms. A walk on Karekare beach is one of the most memorable walks in the country. Some of the local bush and coastal walks are also highly rated. Karekare had some significant flooding in February 2023. There are still some road works being completed. We inform guests about these at the time of the booking.
