We had an amazing weekend at the Sunset Hideaway tiny home! The space was spacious, clean, well-decorated and comfortable. The fireplace and cute nooks around made for a cozy, warm ambience. The property was impressive, lots of private outdoor space, and the hot tub was such a treat. The location is perfect, 5 minute drive from the pretty town of Goderich. Overall, the listing was even better than pictured and had everything you could need to feel right at home. We were so impressed with the thoughtful touches throughout the space, truly a fantastic Airbnb experience. The hosts were friendly and proactive from the moment of booking. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay. Super cute cabin. Lovely property. Really appreciated all of the kitchen supplies. Very helpful when cooking and prepping food. Having a tv with options was amazing. Sports for the adults and Netflix for the kids! Lots of warm blankets which helped with the cold weather. An extra and larger heater would have helped. Will definitely be back!!!

This gorgeous property was absolutely perfect in every way. The view spectacular. Felt completely private. Everything was spotless. Zero complaints for this gem of a getaway destination. Will be back 1000%.

I recently visited Mike’s Place with my friends, and I have to say it was an excellent experience! The property is spotless, and everything is so well-organized. Communication is top-notch; they respond to any questions or concerns instantly, ensuring you’re always taken care of. The convenience and customer service alone make it a place worth returning to. The main attraction is the nearby Grand Bend Beach, and downtown is just a short distance away, making everything so accessible. I highly recommend Mike’s Place and would give it a solid five-star rating for both the property and the service. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed during the February 2025 long weekend snowstorm, and it truly felt like a winter wonderland! Andrea is an incredible host, she's responsive and genuinely helpful. She went above and beyond by sending her cleaner and snow removal team to ensure we didn't get stuck and helped us with the outdoor hot tub, we really appreciated it! The house itself is absolutely beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed. We had such a great time and would love to return in the summer for a completely different experience!

We had an enjoyable winter weekend escape in Goderich. Staying at James' home was ideal. It is a unique place to stay which added to the experience. We enjoyed learning some of the history of the house, liked that there was a short walk to downtown, took in the various shops and restaurants, and had some fun on a nearby trail. The place is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and James was a wonderful host. We recommend staying at this location.

This was my second stay and it was once again great! In a very nice neighbourhood close to downtown. Beautiful cozy house. Owner always responds to inquiries quickly.

We had a lovely weekend away here! The sauna and hot tub were very relaxing and private, and we felt right at home due to Katie and Jim’s wonderful hospitality!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. We were looking for a place to spend a quiet, cozy weekend in the winter. Our expectations were thoroughly exceeded. The host was extremely responsive and clearly paid a significant amount of attention to details. We've stayed in many homes through Airbnb, but I can honestly say I've never felt as welcome or comfortable in any of them as I was here. The location was also perfect. The cul-de-sac felt private and secluded, particularly in the winter, but was only a five-minute drive from local restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.
