The place and the location were absolutely stunning and we loved tending to and then sitting in the hot tub at sunset.

Lovely peaceful spot while still close to town. Bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was immaculate and very enjoyable. Great fast internet. Lack of clothes storage was odd. Overall it was a nice stay, but a little TLC in the property would've made it feel more comfortable overall. Thanks for having us!

Wir haben eine sehr entspannte Woche in Nicolas Cottage verbracht. Sie war für uns bei Bedarf immer erreichbar und hat sich sehr nett gekümmert, sodass wir eine schöne Woche verbracht haben. Die 2 Schweine am Cottage haben uns die Zeit auf der Terrasse versüßt 😀 Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei dir Nicola !

Outstanding in every way!!! Such a gorgeous vineyard setting The wine pod accommodation was perfect for two and very well equipped, including delicious breakfast supplies. Stargazing from the hot tub was so lovely. Having the bikes to explore the local area was a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch platter and wine tasting. Highly recommend We will definitely be back !!! Thank you

Faultless. From the first communication, to the actual accommodation itself, this place is incredible! Immaculately decorated to a high spec, comfortable bedding and seating. Every little detail meticulously thought out and executed to the highest standard, this place is hands down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Really lovey stay. The perfect place for the occasion and a simple check-in check-out experience. Feels like a country cottage despite being on the main stretch in Amberly. Traffic noise is almost non-existent thanks to the layout of the house and the high wooden fence. The garden is fantastic too and we all wish we’d had more time to enjoy the place. Great local recommendations for food and drink too. Have already recommended to others who may be in the area in future. Thank you!

What an incredible Airbnb ! Nikola has created such a beautiful space out from the city to relax and unwind. The views are spectacular, especially when relaxing out on the deck. The space is so nicely decorated, everything you need to feel right at home and cook a good meal. Lots of board games to keep you busy and the beds are so comfy! Nikola is a great host, clear instructions, recommend lots of things to do around the area and always responsive. I am so happy with my stay and will gladly book again in the near future. I highly recommend staying here if you truely want a place to relax away from the busy life.

If your looking for unique, rustic and quirky accommodations just 40 mins north of Christchurch, look no further. Damian’s barn accommodation is such a fun place to stay. From the spa to the turntable with lots of old vinyl to belt out. Topping this off with a glass of his Pinot Noir on the veranda in the afternoon sun was the ultimate escape. Damian is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming. His breakfast hamper option is very generous and delicious. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the main homestead which has been lovely restored by Damian and also has beautiful BnB accommodation. Two wineries with great food are just minutes down the road. All in all I couldn’t fault this unique accommodation. Thank you Damian for your welcoming hospitality. Cheryl & Donna
