Beautiful modern home in the heart of Oakura! Thandi and Bachelor were so kind and super responsive. We were so grateful for the lovely space to spend time with our family.

This is a home set up for families with children. Lots of inside and outside toys for kids to play with and locks on kitchen cupboards and draws. Great location, close to supermarkets and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond and very easy to deal with.

Very nice stay in this great home with so many games and activities. Great view on the volcano, perfect for the breakfast on the terrace !!

The accommodation was immaculate and had everything you could ever need for a perfect stay. it was spotlessly clean and was very tastefully presented. we can't recommend it enough. Beautiful and simple place with everything you need! Awesome that the fur babies are welcomed and pretty secure location for them. House is right by the main road so some road noise (trucks etc) but not a lot at night. Great communication from Peter and the place had pretty much everything you need. Deck was awesome to chill on - we brought our own sun brolly so could chill out there all day. Beach isn’t far (Onaero was our choice as not as busy and dog friendly). Beautiful ngahere hikoi next door to the bach, which was neat for our son to find the ‘treasures’ along the pathway. Great stay!

The owner even prepared a box of cookies for us. Thank you so much. WiFi QR code is very convenient. AirPlay is available.

Even better than we expected - the house is immaculate and perfect for our group and children. Wendy replies to messages almost immediately and is very helpful. The house has everything you could need and more. A+

This was a great place for our stay: perfect location, on the main road; close to the pub, bottle store and an excellent burger joint. The hosts were great - easy to contact when checking in, available when we had a request and they gave us divine, homegrown tomatoes. Would love to stay there again.

After our intimate wedding ceremony in New Plymouth, with our adult children and their partners, we shared the weekend at the Oakura accommodation. It was a wonderful wedding venue and offered us everything we needed. Rosanna kindly allowed us an earlier check-in on our wedding day, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you Rosanna and Richard.

in a quiet location easy to get into town

Sandra‘s appartment ist ein toller Platz, wir haben es auf den ersten Blick geliebt. Es fehlt an nix und man kann sich rundum wohlfühlen. Besonders schön fanden wir den Garten und die überdachte Terrasse sowie die ruhige Nachbarschaft. Zum Fitzroy Beach kann man in ein paar Minuten laufen. Alles in allem eine echte Empfehlung.

Great stay in Kaitake below the Pouākai ranges. Day one, warmly welcomed by two friendly dogs, both taking turns to visit over my time there. Great set up and amenities, both inside and out, and in a private area and space. Found the place to be very comfortable, nice and close to shops and plenty to do in the area. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the host and accommodation.

We loved our stay at Greer’s place! Waking up with the mountain views was spectacular. Perfect location, beautiful surroundings and the place is immaculate. We enjoyed a week stay while we were working in town for an event. The pool and spa were a lovely treat to come home to! Highly recommend A+++

Our stay at the Mill House was nothing short of exquisite. We only had one night (would recommend spending much longer- we will definitely be staying longer next time) but Amanda pulled out all the stops, as she does every stay, I'm positive. The house was opened up for us, warm late-summer air circulating throughout, fresh bouquets in every room, and the towel warmer turned on for a shower after a long drive. I couldn't help donning a luxurious bathrobe after an amazing shower to sit on the deck and watch the moon rise while sheep bleated around the house on the surrounding hills. Amanda greeted us after arrival and was SO generous with her time and answering all our touristy questions. Amanda's kindness left a huge impression...as did Kitten. We were grateful for the feline companionship after being away from our kitties at home. The Mill House is heaven on earth! We cannot recommend this property enough. Great proximity to some of the stunning West Coast beaches, too! We loved it!!!

WOW!!! This has been one of our favourite stays for my kids (8, 6, 3) and I, so far. A beautiful old character home, stunning showroom-like kitchen (featuring all the bells and whistles), large dining and living spaces. Bedrooms were very spacious, with comfy beds. Huge lawns - so much room to run and play..... And all of this set on a large 305 hectare farm, with gorgeous views of Mt Taranaki and surrounding landscape. Peaceful, is an understatement. Andrew was a great host. Responds quickly, is very helpful and friendly. Highly Recommended

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful castle. So much history. Great location, beautiful accommodations, loved the beds and the pillows. Well stocked kitchen and so much space for everyone. Particularly enjoyed the outdoor space and fire pit. Will definitely come back again and recommend to all my friends. The host, Debbie, was awesome and very responsive.
