Birna’s place was such a cozy and welcoming spot! The location is perfect — just a short walk to a fantastic bakery and a grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. Plus, it comes with its own parking spot. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!

Honey’s place was absolutely fantastic! Just a 15-minute drive from Reykjavik, it was the perfect base for our Iceland adventure. The house was spotless, tidy, and incredibly warm, even though it was freezing outside. The sleek, modern design gave it such a stylish and comfortable feel, and the views around the apartment were stunning. Honey’s hospitality was top-notch. She even left us some amazing pizza rolls, which were such a treat after a long flight—it was exactly what we needed to relax and settle in. New Year’s here was magical, and Honey made it even better with her incredible local tips. She told us exactly when and where to go to see the northern lights, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. Her quick responses and helpful recommendations really made our stay extra special. I can’t recommend this place enough! My daughters and I had a magical stay at Sunna's house between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautifully positioned by the water with spectacular views and a short bus ride into town. It was warm, cosy and had all we could ask for. Thanks Sunna!

We spent the Christmas holidays in Sigurbjörg's house. We had a great time. The house is warm, welcoming and very bright. You can reach the center of Reykjavik on foot, along the seafront. The house is equipped with everything you need for a stay. We arrived on the evening of December 24, when supermarkets in Iceland are closed for the holidays, Sigurbjörg provided us with fresh food such as eggs, milk and bread. Near the house there is a small supermarket with extended hours and an excellent bakery. Efficient communication with the owner. I definitely recommend Sigurbjörg's house for a nice and relaxing holiday.

Andri was the most helpful host we've ever experienced! The instructions for getting there were wonderful and he checked in with us a couple of times during the week through the app. The condo was exactly as described and was plenty of room for the two of us. It would fit 4 if the sofas were utilized but it's important to note that the sofas are 6 feet in length so they would not fit tall adults very well. The bedroom is small but the bed is comfortable. We had everything we needed in the condo which was very clean. Having a washer and dryer made packing easier. There is an elevator to the condo. The location was great for us especially since we rented a car but is a little outside of downtown (5-10 minutes) and the area is being built up so I expect there will be more shops and restaurants nearby in the future. Being able to look out at the water each morning was a beautiful start our day plus checking for whitecaps was a quick way to assess how windy it was.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The Harbor Apartment was perfect to visit Reykjavik. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, nicely decorated, and wonderfully warm and inviting on a cold January visit to Iceland. The location was unbeatable, just across the street from the scenic old harbor and near plenty of excellent restaurants and steps from a small market for your daily needs. The host provided voluminous tips on getting around and responded quickly with a work-around when we discovered that the Internet network listed in the check-in instructions was down. We would definitely stay here again. Just one small caveat for light sleepers—the bedroom window is located next to the ground floor elevator and you can occasionally hear the voices of people coming and going, or stomping the snow off their shoes before they get in the elevator.

Really beautiful cabin in a perfect location. Good point to travel around the south from. Clean, very spacious and well laid out. Much bigger than I expected. Really good quality furniture and fittings. Lovely and warm at the end of a busy day exploring. Managed to watch a brilliant show of the northern lights from the decking. Would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. Kjartan is very attentive to his guests and the communication was very smooth. The apartment is nice, well decorated, close to the city. Totally recommended !

Had a lovely time staying at Þyri's place, which was well equipped, clean and with a very comfortable bed. It was great to be a short walk from a bakery and was an easy ride into the centre of Reykjavík via bus. All in all, a very nice place to spend a long weekend.

A lovely flat and a really lovely host. Let us check in nice and early, had a fully stocked kitchen which made a huge difference during our stay and was responsive throughout. Benedikt sent us some great recommendations as well! Couldn’t recommend more!

Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

We spent a couple weeks in Iceland in late July and early August. My favorite accommodation during our trip was Myrra's, with its welcoming warmth, decorative delights, and nice neighborhood vibe. It must be a little scary to let strangers into a place you love so much, but Myrra couldn't have been more kind, helpful, and caring. The location is great, as you're only a one-minute walk from a bakery, ice-cream shop, and supermarket. You're just a 5 or 10 minute drive from downtown, but if you like a nice walk, it's a lovely 40-minute jaunt along the Sculpture & Shore Walk. For out-of-town excursions, the Golden Circle sites, as well as Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss down south are very doable. You can also easily get to the Glymur Falls, which is about an hour to the northwest. Know, however, that once you get to the Glymur parking lot, it's about a 3 or 4-hour round-trip hike to the falls and back. If you still have a little vigor in you, we can't recommend this adventure highly enough.

Very comfortable and had all we needed for a family of 4. Beds were large and comfortable. Washer and dryer worked well and were a definite need! 10 min drive to Heart of downtown. We were very happy with our stay.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️
