Hvammstangi : locations de vacances dans des cottages

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ferienwohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um den Norden zu erkunden.

Ása is a great host and we found her cottage to be actually much nicer and more spacious than in the pictures. We had a slight heating issue at first, but Ása was very responsive, fixed it promptly and helped us by instructing us to use the mobile radiators (that were already in the house). Unexpected things happen sometimes, but with Ása you can be sure you'll be in the best hands in case something goes wrong and she'll always have your back! :) Other than that, we found the location rather calm, private and conveniently located. The main road is not as close as some previous reviewers stated, and we found it to be a non-issue. It had more of a vibe of being a guest in someone else's house rather than at a typical Airbnb (and that's great). Very cozy yet elegant and sophisticated interiors, a sunroom, always-on hot tub, comfy beds, tons of kitchen amenities - you'll even find bathrobes! :) A lovely host and a lovely place, we'll definitely want to come back. Thank you :)

Die Unterkunft ist super. Für unvergessliche Abende und Nächte genau das Richtige. Dies ist der perfekte Ort um nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in die Hütte zurückzukehren, zu kochen und in der heißen Wanne zu entspannen. Die Polarlichter am Abend aus der heißen Wanne zu beobachten ist mein Highlight der Übernachtungen.

Very cute little cottage that had everything we needed to be comfortable. Spent two nights there and were very relaxed by the end of our time. The rooms are smaller than expected by the photos and there is no laundry detergent but the hot tub is delightful. Also, if you have an Android phone it may be difficult to get the check in instructions (only worked on iPhone) so you should message the host ahead of time.

Very beautiful house in a very private location. All Information on how to find it were provided so we even found it at night since we arrived there at 3am. We found it to be bigger in real life than it looked in the pictures which was a positive suprise. Especially the living room and the upper floor bedroom.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van onze twee nachtjes bij Vilmundur. Wat een paradijs, mooier en leuker dan op de foto's. Lekker ruim, gezellig ingericht, hele fijne buitenruimte. Ook super voor onze dochter van 1,5 jaar. Ons leukste verblijf in IJsland en dan ook nog noorderlicht gezien vanuit de hottub.

Das kleine Häuschen ist ein Juwel für Naturliebhaberinnen: Ganz einfaches Hüttchen, alles da, was man braucht. Liegt direkt am Wasser, perfekte Sicht auf Wale Polarlicht, Berge und dann noch baden im beheizten Becken, mehr kann man sich von Island nicht wünschen. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Haus war sehr klein, aber alles vorhanden - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Highlight war das Trampolin für die Kinder. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns Tipps gegeben. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war der starke Schwefelgeruch des Warmwassers (stärker, als wir das sonst erlebt haben).

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

Jon's place was just what we needed and was just as advertised - we had a lovely stay & the cabin had all we needed for 1 night - the view in the morning was amazing! Thank you for letting us stay

Wir haben ein tolles Haus in einer wunderschönen Umgebung vorgefunden und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Aufgrund der guten Lage kann man sowohl Reykjavik als auch Snæfellsnes gut erreichen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Geothermie-Spa "Krauma".

Nous avons passé 2 bons jours dans ce logement. Tout y est impeccable, rien ne manque. La literie est très bonne. Le parking devant la maison est bien pratique. Très belle vue, endroit paisible. Bjarni est très réactif et donne des instructions claires.

What a beautiful house in a beautiful little town! Host was kind. We booked last-minute but he met us at the place to let us in. The view is awesome. Highly recommended!

This place is unassuming when you drive by it however it oozes with charm once you are inside. Christina has gone above and beyond making this place cozy including providing lots of toys and books for little kids. The space is VERY small for a group of 7. It works for a few nights but there is limited/no storage available. We loved waking up to the horses running and grazing in the field, it is a really magical location! They also had lots of adaptors available which was very appreciated! We would have appreciated having soap/shampoo/conditioner available in the bathroom.
